Valley Doll vs. Alaina Sanders - The Slamazon and the Amazon

Valley took the two punches in as good a stride as she could managed, easily falling into Alaina's solid clutches - the girl seemed to be getting into her comfort zone. Good thing, too. Valley was more than ready to knock her clean out of it.

As Alaina pulled her back, Valley suddenly pushed forward, driving hard and trying to ram her right into the turnbuckle at full speed.

Alaina was caught totally by surprise as Valley Doll sprang to life! She was lulled into a false sense of security by the crafty veteran and paid the price as she was rammed straight into the turnbuckle!

"Ooomph!" Alaina grunted as she felt her torso smash into the turnbuckle. "Damn... knew it was going too good to be true." She muttered under her breath.

"Often is, yeah."

Taking a deep breath as she got out, Valley took a step back as Alaina slumped, in prime position for...well, anything. In particular, Valley went for a drop kick, jumping straight up and slamming her boots right into Alaina's chest, full force.

"AAAAH!"

Alaina's chest was hammered by Valley Doll's dropkick as she was slumped in the corner. Alaina was kicked so hard that she fell onto her butt and was now in a sitting position on the mat. Her left arm was draped across the bottom rope, and her right hand was rubbing her chest where the dropkick hit.

"Plenty of time for a comeback..." Alaina thought to herself. While Valley Doll could in fact take a good deal of punishment in stride, so could Alaina. However, at the moment she was in quite the compromised position....

The drop kick hit right on target, bringing Alaina low, in the sitting position against the turnbuckle - the crowd, of course, was calling for the Bronco Buster.

Not Valley's style. Besides the fact that it didn't hurt much, anyway, it was a humiliation move, and she avoided those like the plague. They were having a nice, friendly match; no reason to get nasty.

Reaching down, Valley hauled Alaina to her feet, helping her get up, but keeping her grip on the wrist tight - something she needed. She ducked down a spun under Alaina's arm, twisting and forcing her body to bend.

Alaina grunted as her arm was twisted. She bent down and stomped on the mat a couple times as Valley Doll had a hold of her. Alaina reached across with her free arm, rubbing the shoulder of the arm Valley Doll had a firm hold of.

"Shoulda known a match with another Cali-girl wouldn't go smoothly." Alaina said with a small grin before gritting her teeth. She wanted to get out of the hold, but as long as Valley Doll held her arm, all the things that came to mind would wrench the hell out of her shoulder. For now she was stuck.

"California, represent."

Alaina was holding in there, but Valley had her in a solid hold - for the time being, she had the match well in hand. She brought her other hand down on Alaina's arm in a chop, pushing down with her weight to try and force Alaina to the ground on her chest and lock in a Chick Wing hold.

Alaina felt a hard blow land against her arm, and her whole body went down to the mat chest first. Alaina felt the pressure of the chickenwing hold on her arm and knew she had to do something. If her arm was badly damaged enough it was a target for the rest of the match, and it meant she had a lot less power moves at her disposal to use on Valley Doll.

Alaina knew she'd need more than just upper body strength to get out of this hold. If she could slide her legs under her and twist to get off her chest and onto her side she could use her legs and upper body to escape this hold.

The Amazon was down, but she was far from out - Valley still had some serious work to do.

She wrenched the hold hard and powered into it, but Alaina was rising all the same - the girl had pure guts, there was no denying that. She was trying to make her way up, relying on her legs instead of her upper body to do the deed - smart, taking the pressure away from her arms in order to save them. Looking to throw her for a loop, Valley suddenly let go of the hold and drove a hard punch into Alaina's back, instead - she was about to escape, anyway, and this allowed her to tack on some extra damage before that happened.

Alaina was working on getting out of the hold when Valley suddenly let go and caught her with a strong punch to the back. Alaina grunted as the hit landed, rubbing her back briefly at the impact site as she got up to her feet and faced Valley Doll.

As she looked at her opponent she gave a small nod. She was facing a no-nonsense speedy mat wrestler who she had respect for, very much unlike her last matchup. Alaina ran forward at Valley Doll, and once she got close she would quickly side-step and turn, trying to get behind Valley Doll and grab her around the waist!
