Seeking Revenge (For Tanosh)

Beth was watching him now, sucking in her stomach and tensing herself up for each blow, so that they didn't hurt as much. But in her attempts to keep him from hurting her, she didn't realize he might suddenly try something different.

So when he pushed forward to drag her away from the wall and into the water, She was taken by surprise. But she'd already taken a deep breath, and had managed to keep from crying out and losing that air as she was pulled under. While Beth wasn't much at submission holds, it didn't mean she couldn't try them in situations like these. With both of them in the water and away from the wall, she'd try to hold herself against his back, moving to grab at his legs. She wanted to keep herself behind him, and make it harder for him to reach her. She refused to lose this fight with him as well.

Unfortunately for Magnus, he too was a striker, and fighting in this fashion was against his usual type. In the open water, he was a little more free, and she had no base to force him under to keep him there. With her now swinging down behind him, he allowed their natural buoyancy to lift them back to the surface as elbows went jabbing backwards into her sides. Hands and feet also kicked so that he'd control their orientation enough that he'd be the first one to resurface, and she'd be under him, with likely control of his legs by now.

Soon it was becoming more of a struggle to keep herself from letting out any air. With him managing to elbow her in the sides, he was successfully making her hiss in pain, and lose precious air meanwhile. Holding on tight was becoming harder too. She could feel her legs starting to lose the tight grip around his neck. But even so she didn't let go, refusing to give in before he did.

She may not have known it, but his face and chest broke enough of the surface (along with her legs) that he could again take a few gulps of precious air (as well as a bit of chlorinated water). She had a decent hold on his legs, but seemed to not capitalize on that fact, and his thrashing kept her with limited options. Continue the hold and stay under water, or break the hold and attempt to get at the air. He grunted and growled against her, trying to figure a way into the shallower, three foot section of the pool which was still a good ways off.

His muscles ached from the laps he had done, and already the effects of this fight were beginning to slow his own reactions. He'd need to find a safe place to fight, or he might lose to this mystery opponent outright.

Beth felt her lungs starting to hurt, having lost too much air as he thrashed against her. Since she was smaller than him, it was likely that she also couldn't hold as much air in her lungs as he could. she didn't want to let go, but if she didn't soon, she was going to pass out instead.

And so she finally relased him, pulling her legs from around his neck, and releasing his legs as well. She'd place her knees against his back though, pushing off and sending herself towards the shallow end. Once there, she'd come up coughing and sputtering, gasping for air.

Her pushing against him for momentum sent him slightly to the deeper end, but left to his own devices, he was able to really get a few breaths and begin swimming towards the shallower end. He took a breast stroke, while watching the figure swim underwater to the shallow end as well. It wasn't until she came up and started coughing up whatever water had gotten into her lungs that he was able to recognize her. "YOU!" he snarled as he swam until the water was only four feet deep, beginning to walk the rest of the way. Here, his nipples didn't even touch the water due to his height, and he began a slow march upon his assaulter. "I thought you learned your lesson to not fuck with your betters.

By the time he'd reached her, she'd managed to catch her breath. But she'd tried faking still being unable to get enough air, just so she could suddenly turn, aiming a hard right hook for his jaw. She had to reach for it, but she didn't care. At this point, it was all or nothing. And she knew it was going to be even worse than last time if she lost.

He bore down upon her, reaching out to grab her by the hair as a right hook landed fully on his jaw. His torso turned away from her as his arms came up to defend himself against another volley. It wasn't long for his head to return to facing her, eyes betraying some level of anger in his system as his jaw worked a short range of motion, as though testing to see the sound bone on bone was just her fist colliding with his head, or if it was something that had been knocked loose.

She was far from done when it came to fighting back. It was almost a desperate fight in a sense, especially with how badly he'd beaten her last time when things had been on even terms. Her left fist would come flying up, aiming to hit hard into his stomach, wanting to drive the air out of him. And she'd pull her right fist back again, looking to be winding up for a huge punch. But then she launched a surprise, actually launching her body forward, aiming to send her head crashing against his jaw, which likely was still sore from the first blow.

His own left hand came down upon her fist, grasping it tightly to keep her from punching him in the stomach. This was the beginning of her end. She wound up her punch, then lunged in for another devastating attack, but he simply took her left hand and sent it across her body and to her right. This would force her to spin and instead of the top of her head slamming into his chin, her shoulders would slam into his muscular abdomen. Without waiting a moment, his right hand would find her right wrist, and twist it up behind her back, finding that sweet spot where he could cause pain by just raising his hand a fraction of an inch. "You know what's going to happen to you at the end of this fight, don't you?" He'd ask roughly.
