Nidia Roja (d) vs. "Tsunami" Suzumi Ishikawa

Suzumi was no slouch for speed but she managed to become humbled by Nidia who wrestled her well in technique and now showed she was the faster woman in the ring! Suzumi tried to swing a leg around to trip up or stop Nidia but that failed and the acrobatic kick collided with the skull of Suzumi sending her to the mat in a heap! She groaned and moved her arms up to cradle her head, rolling to her side as she tried to create some distance between herself and Nidia.

A loud pop spread through the crowd as Nidia’s acrobatic attack found it’s mark. To keep the momentum going, the luchadora would kip up to her feet and turn to see where Suzumi had gone. She didn’t need to look far, as her opponent had rolled away to create some distance between the two of them. Not wanting to lose her advantage, Nidia would run forward before jumping into the air. Her goal being to knock the wind out of Suzumi’s sails with a senton.

Suzumi was about to sit up to get back to her feet when Nidia came crashing down on top of her! Suzumi groaned in pain and kicked the mat as her arms cradled her abdomen where Nidia's landing did the most damage to her. She slapped the mat and tried again to sit up this time having much more trouble doing so. She had been rocked and it was showing as her struggle to even get to her feet was evident.

Nidia’s entire weight crashed onto Suzumi’s belly. The luchador could feel the air shoot out of her opponents mouth as she landed. Rolling off, she saw the result of her attack with Suzumi rolling onto her front and holding her abdomen. Getting back to her feet, Nidia decided that it was time to show her opponent a submission of her own.

Dragging Suzumi back up by her hair and arm. The luchadora would quickly slip behind her and tangle her arms and legs with the blunette. The end result would be a standard but tight abdominal stretch! Putting even more pressure on Suzumi’s abdomen.

Suzumi felt herself being hauled up and she shook her head. She had to fight back and soon she was twisted into position as Nidia applied an abdominal stretch! Suzumi groaned, gritting her teeth all while she realized she could pull off a counter, being very familiar with this move.

She shift and maneuvered her feet to alter position, able to use her arms and torso to shift from being stuck in a painful hold to sending Nidia to the mat with a hip toss! Suzumi would take a few steps back, rubbing her abdomen as she used this reprieve to recover for a few seconds needing the time to collect herself.

As much as she hated to admit it. Nidia was not a very technical person in the ring. Sure she could slap on a rest hold like any other, even had some knowledge on the more complex submission maneuvers. But at the end of the day, it was very basic knowledge in general. Basic and lacking in actual in ring experience.

As shown when despite locking her in an abdominal stretch, Suzumi found a flaw in the luchadora’s technique almost immediately. Nidia could only let out a shout of surprise as before she even knew what was happening, her world was flipped upside down! Her back hitting the canvas from the sudden hip toss from Suzumi! Leaving the luchadora stunned!

Suzumi had Nidia down and she decided to try to show off some of her own speed! She pulled Nidia up by the arm stepping towards the ropes as she twist her torso to whip Nidia towards the ropes. Suzumi readied herself as Nidia came running back hoping to leap up and wrap her legs around Nidia's head to send her to the mat with a hurricanrana! Suzumi wanted to inflict some pain and stun Nidia before trying to go back to what she knew best...

The sudden hiptoss did it’s job in knocking the wind out of Nidia. But she wouldn’t have any time to regain it as her opponent was quick to yank her to her feet and send her running uncontrollably towards the ropes! Nidia then bounced off of them and ran straight into Suzumi’s legs. She could only widen her eyes in recognition of the move before she was once again flipped overhead. Only this time, she hit the canvas with an even greater force than before. Stunning the luchadora even longer as she tried to regain her bearings!

Suzumi managed to take Nidia down, and now she wanted to try one more thing before switching gears back towards something more ground based against Nidia. The smaller framed wrestler hadn't seen the power Suzumi was capable of. She was about to find out if Suzumi could help it. The tsunami moved about pulling Nidia up by the arm before lifting her up over her shoulder. Suzumi ran forward jumping up and angling herself downward to try to send Nidia crashing down hard to the mat with a running powerslam!

Nidia had to say. As someone who used a move like the hurricanrana on a daily basis in her matches. Suzumi’s was really good. Sure it hurt like hell and left her gasping for air, but it was good. Course it was because of that, that Nidia wasn’t able to defend herself as her opponent pulled her back to her feet before being yanked onto the blue haired woman’s shoulders. Nidia knew exactly what was coming next but could do little more but tense herself as Suzumi slammed herself back onto the canvas! A shout tore through her lips as she stretched her back, her hands moving to try and soothe the pain.
