Akane Saito vs. Suzumi Ishikawa

Suzumi was geared up and ready for action tonight, happily bouncing around the backstage area in her wrestling attire well before her scheduled matchup. She was all set to face a newer lady she hadn't wrestled before so her excitement level was even higher!

As her music began to play Suzumi came out smiling and waving to the crowd as she made her way down the ramp. She soaked up the cheers of the crowd and had some bounce in her step as she came down to the ring. She slid in underneath the bottom rope and stood tall, doing a little lap around the ring with her arms out taking in the crowd cheers again. Suzumi was all smiles as she settled in to her corner, awaiting the arrival of her opponent.

She wasn't sure what her opponents skill set was but Suzumi was going to try to grapple, toss and put holds on her opponent until she could wear her down on this evening.

Akane Saito:

Akane couldn't help but peek out from behind the curtain, checking to see just how large her opponent was tonight. AFW seemed to have a nasty habit of putting her up against larger foes… save for Yuki-chan, though that was an entirely other story. She still heard no end to that one in the back, the girl who gave up because her opponent asked her to. At the time she hadn't minded, but in hindsight she some regrets. To her surprise, the woman in the ring wasn't some towering monster but instead an average sized woman. Thank goodness!

Pushing past the curtain, the pink haired rookie stride her way down the ramp. Her reception was mild compared to that of the veteran. A few cheers, some whistled cat calls, but the majority was murmuring among one another. She didn't let it get her down though as she climbed the steel steps to walk up onto the apron. Akane dipped down between the top and middle ropes, coming to stand opposite Suzumi with a pleasant smile.

The young rookie bounced lightly on the balls of her feet, doing a few quick stretches. "Alright. Here we go. Hope you're ready."

Suzumi saw Akane come out and heard the reaction. She was either really new or her record was less than stellar. Suzumi smiled warmly to her and nodded as she entered the ring. "Hey there! I totally can't wait for our match! Like, we will totally put on a good one and good luck Akane." Suzumi said as she offered her hand for a handshake.

After the handshake Suzumi backed off, pulling on the ropes to stretch as the bell rang. Suzumi circled and moved in grappling with Akane before adjusting her grip and going low to deliver a fast fireman's carry throw to Akane while keeping hold of her arm, transitioning right into an armbar submission hold! Suzumi was curious how much of a technical base Akane was working with as she kicked things off with a hold.

The young rookie blinked at the voice that came out of the other woman's mouth, something that would have been quite at home on any beach shore among the suffers. It wasn't bad, just definitely not what she had expected. It was good to see her in such good spirits though, finding her opponent's chipper attitude almost infectious. With a wide smile she reached in to take the other woman a hand, giving her a weak handshake. It was refreshing to have someone so nice opposite her. "Good luck to you too!"

At the bell, she ripped low, wiggling her fingers as she locked eyes with Suzumi, taking slow strafing steps to circle opposite her. When the blue haired woman moved in on her, she was eager to do the same… perhaps a bit too eager. When the veteran went low, Akane was left trying to wrap her arms around a body that wasn't there anymore.

"Waaaah!" Akane let out a high pitched cry as she was easily scooped up off the mat and tossed along the other woman a shoulder in one smooth motion, hitting the mat hard on her back. Before she could even register what had happened, she felt the twinge of pain from her arm extending back over her head. She tried to sit herself up but fast found legs wrapped over top of her, pulling her back to the mat. She let out a squeal, kicking her boots and flopping a bit as she struggled in the cinched in hold. It looked like she was trying to make her way towards the ropes, reaching out with her free hand.

Suzumi pulled and worked over Akane as well as she could but the referee soon called for a rope break! Suzumi honored it immediately and let go, rising back to her feet as she crouched and waited for Akane to reset. Suzumi figured her best bet out of a hold was a rope break.

As soon as Akane was up again Suzumi moved in for a grapple, but stepped back towards the center of the ring before adjusting her grip trying to work her way behind Akane, stepping a leg forward and maneuvering until she had Akane stuck in an abdominal stretch in the center of the ring! "All right girl, this is harder to escape and the ropes are a long ways away!" Suzumi said, wrenching down as hard as she could to deal as much damage as possible to Akane while offering less of a chance at a rope break.

It was a hard-fought struggle to the ropes, but one made easier ever so slightly by use of three of her limbs. Dragging palms, dug in boot heels and hard bucks she struggled against the mounting pain in her arm. Thankfully Suzumi wasn't the heaviest woman and their match had just begun because by the time she actually grabbed the ropes for a break, she had all but exhausted herself. How long had the match been going on for? A few minutes? Much to her surprise, the rope break saw her get a few cheers from the crowd, people actually admiring her determination. That was worth smiling about at least.

Using the ropes, she slowly dragged herself up to her feet using her uninjured arm, wincing at the burning pain of the strain of even letting it dangle. She gave Suzumi a small wearly look, rolling her shoulder to test just how bad it was. Not great. Even opening and closing her fingers were leaving a numbing sting up the length of her arm. She would just have to work through it though. Stepping away from the ropes, Akane circled back on the veteran, one arm up while she kept the hurt one tucked in closer, trying to protect it. When the Wrestle Angel came in on her, the link haired girl went low, trying to hook an arm around the woman's thigh to try for a leg takedown.

Instead, she found herself roughly yanked back as Suzumi skillfully slipped around her, intertwining their bodies in an abdominal stretch. Akane was taken aback by her new position, confused on just how she was wrapped up and what to do about it. While she had some wrestling training, this was the sort of transition she wasn't really skilled enough to do herself. She let out a cry of pain as she was slowly stretched sideway, the only saving grace she had was her innate flexibility to save her the full bring of the punishing hold.

Akane squirmed and struggled, knowing Suzuki wasn't lying. There was no way she could get to the ropes. Breaking free wouldn't be a matter of power, she had to make use of her own abilities. She pushed herself up a bit on one set of tip toes, rolling her good shoulder to try and slip adjust her captured arm. Wobbling her weight from side to side, she made her move by tucking her captured leg back to free it, still moving it back down, just past Suzuki's leg. This gave her the room to twist her whole body, thrusting her backside into the other woman midsection and straining her held arm to try and drag Suzuki into her, flipping her to the mat with a hip toss.

Suzumi wrenched down and pulled but felt the shift of Akane too late to stop what happened next! "What the...OOMPH!" Suzumi groaned as she hit the mat hard! She kicked the mat in pain, sitting up and rubbing her lower back before flopping back on the canvas as the ring ropes were still shaking from the impact!

Suzumi was down and temporarily out granting Akane a chance to go on the offensive!

Akane dropped down to her hands and knees after giving Suzumi the toss, finding her body feeling from her limited time in the stretch. Her sides cried in protest with every breath she took. The pink haired girl shook out her still injured arm, looking to the reeling Suzumi. This was her chance! Scrambling over on her knees, she reached down to grab the other woman by the shoulders, forcing her in an upright sitting position.

Pressing her body up against her from behind for a brace, Akane threw her good arm around the woman's neck, slipping the crook of her elbow beneath her chin to pull it back. She clapped her hand into the inner elbow of her injured arm, flexing it up to cinched in the sleeper hold, giving the other woman's head a crank. It was a surprisingly well applied hold given the rookie's state, quite capable of knocking out anyone if trapped long enough. "No ropes for you either."

Suzumi gagged and coughed, stuck as her air supply was now being cut off! Suzumi kicked and thrashed about twisting and trying to spin ever so slightly. Suzumi kept trying to get her feet underneath her, powering her way back up to a standing position.

Suzumi groaned and stepped back putting a leg between the feet of Akane. Now it was Suzumi's turn to twist and tey to hip toss her opponent to the mat to escape the hold!

"All right let's see how well ya like this!" Suzumi said to her fiesty opponent as she sat behind her wrapping her arms around Akane's neck while her legs wrapped around crushing pressure to her opponents torso with a body scissor to lock in a painful, constricting rear naked choke!

"Nuh-uh… lets stay like this." The rookie cooed softly between her heavy breathing, looking to use this hold to rest back up and recover. Akane did an admirable job of taking control, reigning Suzumi's struggles back in. Her small arm flexed around the veteran's through as she worked the hood, cushioning the back of her opponent's head into her chest as she worked to grind the fight out of her. It wasn't until the Wrestle Angel started to power up to her feet that the pink haired girl showed signs of struggle, forced to rise along with her a d home the choke would be enough to put Suzumi back down.

"Eeee!" Akane squealed as Suzumi grabbed hold of her firmly, flipping her tiny form up and over to crash along the mat with a bounce. She lay in a daze, even as the Wrestle Angel slipped behind her, coiling her limbs around the rookie. The pink haired girl let out a long groan as her back was arched, ending in a wheeze when her throat was constructed by the choke. All she could do was wimped as strong thoughts tightened in around her lithe form, making her eyelids flutter with a wince. Trying to pry the other woman off was a fruitless error, she knew that. Digging her heels in, she gave a few hard kicks, trying to move them closer to the ropes. She could see them out of the corner of her eye, swiping a hand towards them just behind her grasp, trying so hard to gain her freedom.
