It's All About Strikes

When Charlotte felt Alaina's cramps and heard her groans, she closed her eyes for a few moments. In her thoughts, she tried to calm herself a little. If she began to jerk sharply the upper body and leg of the Amazon, then this could cause her sparring partner unbearable pain, and ultimately it could lead to injury. However, the Sand Lizard was determined to continue to smoothly drag Alaina's body, only increasing pressure. Until suddenly Charlotte felt that Alaina grabbed her hands, hoping to break the hold.

“Damn...” - the Frenchwoman thought.

The fingers of the pink-haired girl tensed and closed together so much that she even felt pain. The muscles on her arms were visible more intense than before. The American girl was supposed to be weakened after being hit in the head, and the master of martial arts did not think that she was able to use all her strength at the moment.

- No, Alaina, it’s not so simple! - said the girl above her opponent’s head.

It was impossible to deny the strength of the Amazon, but now Charlotte was ready to keep her opponent in the hold until it became completely unbearable, although she actually hoped that Alaina could not hold out until that moment because of the pain. Although thanks to the resistance of the American girl, now it was not a question of increasing pressure on her back, so now the Frenchwoman wanted to at least maintain her current position, while continuing to keep the Amazon in the painful position!

It’s amazing. She could still continue to resist. Charlotte even began to hiss because her fingers were digging into each other to keep the lock intact. However, Alaina's will was astounding. Sand Lizard felt tension and pain in her fingers, it felt like they were about to break. Was it just plain sparring?

- Impressive, - said Charlotte, - most impressive.

She felt and heard the Amazon convulsing because of the submission hold. And now Charlotte had a choice. She could continue to try to keep her rival in the hope that she would give up, and the Frenchwoman's fingers would not suffer too much. Or she could remember that it was not an official match and that it was not necessary to make it all so tough. Only a sith deal in absolutes.

“She will never admit your skills unless you win, - said the voice in her head, - you know that they all admit only those who are stronger than them”.

The pink-haired girl snorted because of her thoughts, after which she released chin and leg of Alaina. The Frenchwoman got to her feet and walked away from her rival, giving her the opportunity to freely get to her feet when she was ready. Charlotte rubbed her fingers, relieving the pain in her knuckles, after which the master of martial arts straightened his palms. She took a deep inhale, raising her palms to the center of her chest, and then took a deep exhale, lowering her palms down. Her mind cleared up.

- Are you okay? - Charlotte asked Alaina, winking briefly at her and taking up the classic wrestling stance. - Are we continuing?

The Frenchwoman always wanted her abilities to be appreciated. And she knew that this was a bad trait of her character that could push the girl on a dark path. Therefore, her main enemy was herself. As the saying goes, "we all have our little problems". Although she always tries to do the right thing and to some extent noble.

It's all about self-perception. After everything she worked out certain rules for herself. These rules also applied to everyday life, and her life as a fighter. If this was an official match, then she would have no reason to retreat. But since it was a training, now the girl did not see anything wrong with continuing this fight with renewed vigor.

- Very good in that case, - the Frenchwoman smiled slightly when Alaina got to her feet.

Looks like she was really ready to continue. Although it could not be otherwise. Charlotte understood what her rival was thinking. “I can't lose to some newcomer”. And it was fair. It is fair to the same extent as Charlotte’s desire to win. Martial arts became the meaning of her existence from the very moment that her family kick her out of the house. Since then, an equal sign can be put between Charlotte and the martial arts. And so she was not ready to retreat even before the former champion, who surpasses her in physical strength.

- Only forward, - the girl whispered.

The Amazon and Sand Lizard clashed again and closed in grappling. As before, the Frenchwoman felt the amazing power of an American girl. Charlotte shifted her right leg a little back to keep herself in one place. Her muscles were tense in an attempt not to yield in this confrontation. But she knew that she would have no chance. Therefore, she was trying to throw Alaina’s hands to the side to take a quick step to her back. And if she succeeded, she would have wrapped her arms around her opponent’s waist in an attempt to squeeze her as much as possible!

Alaina's resistance was expected. Therefore, Charlotte was not too upset by this. She was going to change her position a bit so as not to give her opponent too much space. However before she could do this, an unexpected elbow strike came her head! However the Frenchwoman was not going to leave everything as it is. She had already managed to bend slightly to do something painful for Alaina but at that moment a second strike came to her head.

- Phhhhhhh... - flew from the lips of Sand Lizard.

Her palms opened and now Alaina was free. Charlotte put her hand to the spot where the Amazon hit. The girl's gaze was defocused. She thought that she would manage to do everything necessary but it was a mistake. And now she was forced to step back a few steps, trying to drive her disorientation away.

It was too fast. The Frenchwoman had no chance of recovering so quickly. And it seems Alaina was only glad of this. Because literally in an instant Charlotte was lifted into the air. The girl’s vision returned to normal just at that moment in order to see how she was falling. But it’s one thing to just fall on the mat even taking into account such an impressive height. But Sand Lizard fell right on the Amazon’s knee!

- AAAAaaaaaa!!!!! - shouted the girl.

It seemed to her that her back was broken. Damn it, if the pain was spread all over the back, it would be better. But now everything was concentrated in several dorsal vertebrae that were attacked by the knee of the American girl. Charlotte's eyes were closed, and her body twitched involuntarily due to waves of pain in her back.

Of course, this was not the end. However, when Alaina began to put pressure on Charlotte to bend her back even more the girl moaned through clenched teeth. That was bad. Very bad. It certainly won’t lead to anything good.

Charlotte tried to take as deep a breath as possible to at least temporarily relieve the pain and opened her eyes. Her left palm clenched into a fist and then this fist went to Alaina's chin.

Sand Lizard was taller and her hands were long. She could afford this punch. And then another one. And one more. And so on until Alaina lets go of the pink-haired girl or until gets her chin broken to hell! The Amazon could be incredibly enduring and strong but the bone density of all people is the same and the boxing skills of Charlotte could prove this because her punches were fast and strong!
