Now if there was a sizable push, even a win over one of the upper mid-carders, then I'd feel differently. But he's been made a fool of with Mojo and Gronk since wrestlemania (EVEN before that)

Great khaki was a legit ratings draw for them in india, and they often edited broadcasts to get him cheers when he was a heel.

Is it really that crazy to push an indian guy to corner that market? They arent limited to just an american audience after all, and maybe those countries would like seeing some of their own pushed.

Maybe ratings in india are down and this is a way to try and bring them up.

I always thought that Jinder Mahal was the B in 3MB, standing for Boring compared to the two other guys.

It´s a smark city, but Jinder Mahal fills many of the criteria smarks could like.
Solid wrestler, made to job without a real chance after his program with the Great Khali, former comedy act, released and then returned, tag team with other held down wrestler, toured the indies. If he has somewhere shooted against WWE or Vince McMahon, it would be ideal. Of course he also has no buildup and probably a rather small indy reputation.

How does Chicago like Orton? Is he the Viper or Blandy Boreton there?^^^^

I don't think he is but it really depends on whos facing who. Cm Punk is god and even Daniel Bryan would probably get booed fighting him there, and while they generally like whoever they want to I can see Orton getting a better reaction by proxy against Jinder Mahal.

Guys, its fucking Chicago. It's one of the smarkiest towns there is.

They'll be far more concerned with doing the wave, putting themselves over, and doing stupid "CM Punk" and "That Belt Sucks" chants and doing the wave to actually care about whatever the fuck is going on in the ring.

Keep in mind, smark crowds are the ones that flat out ignored a Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins World Title match because they didn't like that the strap on the belt was red.

Smark Crowds completely ignored Finn Balor's return, and a first ever match tag match of Finn and Seth vs Owens and Joe to do the wave and toss a beach ball around.

At best, they'll ignore the match entirely. At worst, they'll ignore the match entirely and throw a few beach balls around and do the wave and chant for every wrestler not in WWE.
