(Open) Cookies and Other Such Nonsense

Sylva Asper clicked through the AFW official website, skimming article after article. "Sign up here if you want a hentai match with Natalia the Dream... oh my God, there must be a hundred names here already... kawaii championship match looming... da da da, yadda yadda yadda... more hentai, more hentai... submission... is it so hard to put a link to the map of the main building on the front page!?"

Click. Click. Oh, no, wait, there it was. On the bar across the top of the screen, the button with 'map' on it. Sylva stared incredulously at the inconspicuous button for a moment, before shaking her head in exasperation. She must have skimmed that bar ten times... lucky she didn't have a roommate in the little closet the AFW had assigned as her apartment. She didn't mind, though--it came with an oven! An oven which was exactly what Sylva wanted... in fact, thinking back on that oven...


The short, long-haired girl didn't stand out at all by AFW standards. She wasn't especially pretty, especially tall, especially busty, have an especially odd hair color or a sort of swagger as she walked. What she did have, though, was a plate of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies, a smile, and a nonthreatening demeanor. She had found a nice spot, near the main doors of the main reception area, with her back to the window and front to the wide lobby where reporters ran to and fro, wrestlers hopped from showers to matches to gyms, and security personnel hustled from place to place. She hadn't gotten the best reception--usually a passing person would just grab a cookie off the tray without a second word or glance--but at least no one had tried to steal it from her. Or flip the tray upside down. Or drag her off and punch her in the face for smiling too much. (She heard that was a thing that had actually happened here!) All in all, it seemed like a pretty solid start to a first day there... maybe she'd even strike up an interesting conversation before it ended?

"Boi ay' Tell ya. I do be wurkin' here!" Whined a short little girl by the name of Zipporah, who was escorted by two burly men in suits who carried her off feet by her arms, dumping her on her tush in the lobby area.

"Ms. Boudreaux. Please stop pestering out staff about Cajun Cusine. You're making everyone feel rather unpleasing."

"Boi you ain't got know nuthin on that food I coul' be makin right here for ya'll!" She complained as the two men walked away, leaving Zippy to stand up and dust herself off, wearing a button up shirt, a brown skirt and her great grandaddy Gastin's WWII Infantry Army Helmet that looked sooo cool on her!

She looked around for someone to talk to, maybe they could help her find her cousins? Bah, she could find them, what she really wanted was a friend, she had been in Japan trying to sell Cajun Cuisine but it wasn't always to the best reception.

But as she contemplated leaving, she saw a young girl, real cute, carrying... "COOKIES!!!" She cried, putting a hand on her helmet to hold it steady as she dashed for Sylva, hopped upwards to land a tile away from her, flashing a grin before reaching over to grab a cookie, eagerly stuffing it into her mouth and chewing it happily.

"Mmm. Hefm. Hor. You. Be?" Zippy asked with cookie still in her mouth.

Sylva finished thanking a... well, he looked like an electrician? Maybe a plumber. Dark green jumpsuit and baseball cap implied something like that, anyway. He certainly wasn't a wrestler... anyway, she finished thanking him for his smile and attention, waving a goodbye as the nice sir walked away, feeling mighty pleased with herself, when she caught a blur of motion out of the corner of eye!

Something small and fast ran at her, and Sylva's eyes widened like dinner plates. She backed up, flattening herself against the large glass window as the probably crazy giant attack dog-looking thing charged her, leapt through the air, and...

...Landed about a foot in front of her, shouting for joy about cookies, and grabbing one to eat messily. The nonplussed blonde stared uncomprehendingly for a moment, blinking and looking down at the short, army hat wearing girl. "I, um... would you care for a cookie?" she mumbled, watching one already disappearing into the voracious girls mouth. "They're... wow, OK, you already ate that one... um, thank you for your enthusiasm! I'm Sylva Asper, kawaii, new around here. You're kawaii too, right?" Sylva doubted the girl was in the main-friction league; she was only, like, five feet tall!

Zippy continued to happily eat the cookie in front of Sylva, her eyes wide open in an attentive manner, barely blinking at all as she looked on at the blondie with an almost 'I'm ready!' type of stare. "Yup!" She chimed in response after finishing the cookie, only to reach out and grab another to hurriedly stuff inside her mouth with an obnoxious series of chomps that could rival Cookie Monster.

"ZIPPORAH AMOS BOUDREAUX!" She yelled quickly as she stick her hand out and shook Slyva's hand feverishly, possibly even enough to shake up the poor girl.

"Boi, lemme tell ya, boi, I be workin here too!! Ain't got no clue where I go, but I be doin', ya know!?" What she meant to say was. Yes I wrestle here. No I havent had a match. I don't know what league I belong to. She chose Friction at random despite being advised to join the Kawaii roster.

"Where yo from, boi" She blurted with her squeaky voice.

"I, uh, ah, um, you..." Sylva stuttered, looking completely bemused. his girl was like a... a squirrel! Or a very energetic dog, in human form! And she was eating all the cookies... just, tearing through them. It was kind of amazing, but at the same time, horrifying. It was an almost supernatural sight, seeing her just eat and eat and eat... "No girl that small should be able to eat like that." Syvla whispered, eyes wide.

She flinched when Zipporah shouting her name. "Eh--what!? Who? Is that a... a spell!?" She spluttered, leaning backwards with her arms up to protect herself-only to have one of her hands grabbed by the jubilant wrestler! The ballerina squeaked as she was shook, her whole body thrumming as the exuberant alligator-wrestler gave her the most enthusiastic greeting she'd ever experienced!

And she was talking fast. Almost too fast to understand. "I-I-I-I-I a-a-a-a-am f-f-f-from..." finally, Sylva snatched her hand away, looking just a tad overwhelmed. She coughed a little trying to regain just a tad of composure, then replied. "Chicago! I'm from Chicago! That's where... I'm..." for some reason, the flustered kawaii looked entirely overwhelmed, and half-collapsed onto her chair. To be honest, being on the lookout for girls to run from all day had left Asper a pile of nerves; this overly energetic confrontation had left her with trembly knees. That wasn't going to stop her from returning social niceties, however! "W-where... where are you from?"
