Match Type: Escape Room
Victory Conditions:
- Abigail must escape the room before the allotted time. In order to do this, she must achieve a pinfall or submission and will then be given a key able to unlock the door.
- Kurt must keep his opponent within the room throughout the allotted time through any means necessary.
Special Conditions:
-  Hentai Allowed.

Vander House:

Bathed in moonlight and brightened by the luminescent warmth of the houselights within, The House Of Vander was rife with the pulsating lifeblood of jubilant guests milling all around the expansive mansion grounds. An eclectic mixture of celebrities and notable socialites clicking champagne glasses together alongside all other manners of libations flowing all throughout the night. Olympic athletes rubbing shoulders with rock star musicians and Nobel Prize winning authors amongst other notable individuals losing themselves within the raucous party atmosphere with some jumping into the outdoors pool willingly or flung in by others. All of whom were being gleefully serviced and tended to by floppy-eared and fluffy-tailed bunny girls all snatching the attention of wayward eyes wherever they traipsed with alluring sways of their hips all throughout the mansion. A spastic DJ energetically coordinating the playlist of Hip Hop, R&B, and techno songs reverberating from the speakers as the well catered party thrived onward into the night, much to the enthusiastic enjoyment of the vibrant guests within and the irritated dismay of neighboring house owners.

"Aww, come on man!!! My name has to be on the guest list!!! Ch-Check again!!!"
Outside the mansion's doors however, there was only bitter discontent and anxious anticipation swirling amidst the elongated waiting line of prospective houseguests. All of whom were patiently taking their time in either being graciously allowed inside the fabled Vander House for one of its legendary celebrations~...or immediately escorted off the premises by an assortment of armed security personnel. One such forlorn soul being unceremoniously dragged off with his shoes scrapping against the cobblestone walkway by two well-dressed guards in tuxedos hooking their arms underneath his own. The stern bouncer at the mansions entrance continuing onward with his duties as the next guests in line stepped up to say their names, all while two bunny girls standing off to the side could be overheard gabbing about beauty techniques and their favorite TV shows. One brandishing twin-tails upon her auburn hair with the other sporting flowing grey locks. Both of whom were instructed by the young master to greet one particular invitee for the evening whose name was circled emphatically on the bouncer's list...

The House That Vander Built - Abigail Le Grande vs. Kurt Vander Empty Re: The House That Vander Built - Abigail Le Grande vs. Kurt Vander

The sleek black limousine pulled up just beyond the throng of waiting hopefuls. A few members of the media taking special notice, leaning out from their various hiding spots to analyze the darkened windows. Commercial plates, a rental service, but little else beyond that. Those left stranded in waiting looked to the vehicle with expectation, perhaps being the lucky ones to rub elbows with a celebrity before being snubbed at the door. Within, one of the occupants was making exaggerated faces and blowing raspberries at blissfully unaware onlookers, much to the amusement of a dolled-up Trixie Hart.

“I thought it was just a match,” Abigail whined, shying away from her redheaded guardian Beckett as the salacious woman doted over her young ward. Brushing back from hair, adjusting her vest, and making sure the white rose on her lapel sat firmly. She didn't seem to understand the fuss, but the other woman was insistent like a nagging mother playing matchmaker.

“Think of it more as an audition.”
The redhead lifted her head, looking down her nose at her work. Abigail was a pretty girl with all the makings of something special. She had the looks, the physicality, and the drive to be great. There was a reason she had been the darling of their circus troupe, one that went well beyond the fact she was related to the owner.  She just needed a bit of guidance to take her to the next level… Leaning in Beckett carefully worked the top two buttons of Abigail's blouse open, nudging the fabric aside to show a bit of skin. Provocative but tasteful. Perfect.

“He's just a wrestler though.” Abigail squirmed but let Beckett have her way. It was hard to escape the contortionist in the best of circumstances and the confines of a limo while spacious were not nearly enough.

“Not even on the same brand. Good old Tension lad.” Trixie chimed in, trying to work off the top of a fresh bottle of sparkling water with her bare hands.

“A rich wrestler.” Beckett corrected, tugging the bottle from Trixie and sliding it back into the iced cooler. While the limo was fully stocked, she had no intention of paying for making use of any of the various drinks and foods that were found inside. This was all for appearances, after all, nothing more. “Also influential regardless of his brand. The boy asked for you specifically. That means he is interested in you. We can use that.

“What do you mean? Like, in the match?” Abigail squinted, folding her arms as she eyed Beckett incredulously.

“Hmm? Oh.. yes, the match, sure.” The redhead waved a dismissive hand to Abigail as she leaned back, starting to adjust her own attire, notably more elegant than either of the other girls. While she came from humble beginnings, she was something of a social chameleon and was able to blend in with even the classiest of crowds if she wanted. “I am talking about something more though. A sponsorship. You are a rising star, one that would be good on one of his magazine covers or in whatever articles they write in those things. Just think of all the lovely things we could afford with Vander money behind us.”

“A new whoopie cushion?”
Trixie inquired, suddenly far more interested in this Vander man and his dirty magazine.

“Bigger.” Beckett snorted softly.

“A new hand buzzer?” Trixie held up her hand, wiggling her fingers.

“Trixie dear…” Beckett glanced sidelong to the blond, grumbling through a sneer.

“A cotton candy machine for the apartment?” Trixie reached out, tugging Beckett's hands away from the adjustments she was making to the neckline of her dress, clasping them hopefully.

“TRIX-” Beckett sat up in annoyance, about to scold the young clown when Abigail spoke up with genuine sincerity.

“I'd actually like that… and a popcorn machine. A small taste of home.” She looked between Beckett who had stopped mid yell and Trixie who was already recoiling from what Beckett was about to say to her. She reached out and out her hands on top of the other two women's, sharing a smile that could melt anyone's heart. Well, almost anyone. While Trixie was moved to tears, Beckett composed herself far too well to shed a tear unless it was in the service of a score.

“Then impress the young man. He has a whole mansion full of pretty faces. Give him a reason to remember yours. Beckett spoke slowly and cooly, leaving both of the other girls to nod slowly in compliance. Trixie got a dirty glance from the redhead though, for all intents and purposes she was not involved tonight past tagging along. Once she was sure all of them were on the same page, the former circus star stretched an arm back and gently tapped her knuckles to the mirrored glass separating them from the driver. A few moments later the side door opened and the women stepped out into the night air to the surprise and disappointment of many of the onlookers.

Beckett, Abigail and Trixie:

Despite being unknown though, the way in which they carried themselves was interesting in its own right. Beckett had looped arms with Abigail, wearing her like a prom date as she slipped along the outside of the roped off line to make her way to the front of the bottleneck. Did she know they had people waiting for them? No. She wore a sense of importance as easily as her coat, making it feel like she belonged in that mansion, invite or not. Once she caught the bouncer's attention, and possibly his ire, she stopped and spoke up.

“Le Grande and company. We are expected.” Beckett held her head high and spoke clearly. Abigail remained quiet, but visibly stood straighter and puffed herself up a bit, trying to look as grand as Beckett was presenting them. Other both women's shoulders Trixie held up two hands, one a thumb and finger in the form of a circle, the other her pointer finger sliding in and out of the circle. She gave the bouncer a suggestive wiggle of her eyebrows and a wink.

"Hey why do they get to skip the line?!"

"That's some ol' bullshit..."

"Didn't I see them at a circus show downtown once?..."

"...I think Taylor Swift and Rihanna are inside. Max Kingsley just posted a selfie with them on..."

Malcontent murmurs followed the trio as they sashayed past the outstretched line of guests resigned to the fact that Beckett and her troupe were assuredly VIP's, otherwise they would be exited off the premises in ways similar to those they have witnessed all night. The bouncer remaining rigid and unfazed like a stalwart sentinel with a muscled build beneath his tuxedo and sparkled gleam to his bald head, capable of casting a scrutinizing glare upon the trio even from behind his pair of darkened sunglasses worn in the dead of night. Conspicuous though the situation seemed, he nevertheless started swiping down upon his tablet containing the exclusive guest list in alphabetical order until peeking over the touchscreen with a quirked eyebrow to notice Trixie's hand gestured indecency. The burly guardian clearing his throat against his gloved fist and exclaiming "Uh, that won't be necessary, Miss. Says here Abigail Le Grande, plus two. Beckett and Trixie...with a clown face emoji next to it." The bouncer perplexed as to how or why someone would add such a ridiculous decoration to the guest list until the two bunny girls off to the side would perk up and stroll up beside the bouncer.

"AH, that's them. You can let us take it from here, Micheal."

"Thanks Mike~...Oh, can ya tell the other security guys to reign in the guard dogs. We had to call an ambulance for the last guy who tried to hop the fence..."

Micheal nodded affirmatively and approached the remaining guests to continue his duties, although an odd sideways glance would be centered upon Trixie before hearing further submitted names. "HiHi, I'm glad everyone could make it. My name is Louise, the lovely lady beside me is Sandy. And this, as I'm sure you already know..." Louise's jubilant introductions came with hand wafting flourishes towards herself and her best friend, but before finishing she would stride towards the mansions double doors and open them with a dramatic unveiling. "...is House Vander~..." Marble statues depicting beings from Greek mythology and taxidermy stuffed animals of the lion, tiger, and bear variety would be littered throughout the hallways of the palatial estate. Sophisticated paintings of exquisite detail hanging from the walls alongside the odd family portrait or two with a well-polished wooden finish on the floorboards. High roofs with hanging chandeliers granting an overall aesthetic of class and luxuriousness that may have been overshadowed by the teeming pulse of houseguests indulging themselves in the exuberant atmosphere. Celebrities intermingling with politicians and athletes all wearing fortunes worth of jewelry and designer clothing some could only dream of attaining one day.

"Alrighty now, y'all two are considered premier guests of the evening and are free to enjoy yourselves however you wish for the rest of the night..."
Sandy merrily stated before offering Beckett and Trixie separate badges with lanyards attached so they won't be accosted by security guards who won't technically find their name on the guest list. "Feel free to booze, schmooze, get yer freak on~...I take it you two know how to handle yourselves around a bunch of randy partygoers with too much money to throw around, but if not, well...we can be held liable as to what you may get into around here." Sandy cutely winked in spite of the foreboding insinuations as Louise continued. "And as for Abigail, Sandy and I will escort the challenger upstairs to the Masters chambers where the match is officially meant to take place. AFW has the cameras set up and everything but we're running a little late hun, so we might need to shake a tail feather~..." Louise and Sandy simultaneously reaching out to Abigail take one hand each and begin guiding the crimson haired huntress up the adjacent staircase, but letting her hands go once they were halfway towards Kurt's master bedroom so Abigail can follow them unassisted.

“That's me. Always save the best for last.” Trixie interjected with a playful tone at the mention of the clown face, adjusting her bowtie tug at both ends,  reminiscent of someone preparing for a high-stakes interview.

Beckett's gaze shifted to the approaching bunny girls, her smile warm and welcoming, as if they were old friends. With a gesture, she guided the younger girls to follow their guides as if she did this every day.

"Thanks, Mike," Trixie said, breezing past the bouncer at the group's tail, her hand darting out to give his nose a playful poke before dancing just out of reach with a mischievous "Boop!" She glanced back with a playful gesture of a phone to her ear, mouthing "call me" as she jogged backward with her companions.

"Pleasure to meet you, Louise, Sandy," Beckett greeted the two women with a nod, her eyes taking in the grandeur of House Vander with a practiced nonchalance.

Within the opulent halls, each of them found something to captivate their attention. Beckett was drawn to the people, the celebrities, socialites, and powerful figures. Tonight was about networking, and she intended to leave no opportunity untapped. Trixie, on the other hand, found herself enamored with the art, portraits, statues, and abstract pieces all caught her eye, mentally cataloged for future admiration and definitely no other reason. Abigail's gaze lingered on the stuffed animals scattered throughout the rooms, a frown tugging at her lips. As someone who had spent her life working with exotic animals, she couldn't help but feel uneasy at their presentation as mere decorations.

Where she came from, exotic animals were friends and family so seeing them on display like this made her stomach knot up. The young rookie kept her feelings close to her chest on the matter though, opting not to speak up while in the company of the two bunny girls and her guardian. After all, she was in a unique position where she would be placed in the same room as the possible perpetrator of these things, in a sanctioned fight for that matter. She would get to the bottom of it all soon enough and be in a perfect place to dole out justice were it warranted.

Beckett reached for one of the offered passes, only to have Trixie deftly snatch it away with a laugh, disappearing into the crowd like a child let loose in a playground. With a soft sigh, Beckett accepted the other pass, giving Abigail a reassuring hug and a kiss on the cheek. “Make a good impression.” She whispered as a reminder before also departing into the ocean of partygoers.

Before Abigail had time to wallow in being left alone, the women at her flank hooked her arms and quickly ushered her away. Blinking, she did all she could to keep up as they were led through tight halls and around corners like a maze, unsure of the path they had taken to get there by the time she had been set free. She rubbed at her hands when she was let loose, following both women quietly before inquiring curiously. “So… this Vander guy… What's he like?”

The House That Vander Built - Abigail Le Grande vs. Kurt Vander Empty Re: The House That Vander Built - Abigail Le Grande vs. Kurt Vander

Several creaking floorboards ensured that the trio's presence would become abundantly apparent towards anyone within earshot in spite of the vibrant party atmosphere which they were now steadily separating themselves from with each hustled step. The same crackled sound of the wooden floor panels also offering a subtle insight in regards to the mansions storied history. It's polished walls harboring tales squirreled within the historic Vander household that were either forever lost to the seas of time or were merely as yet to be told throughout the Vander lineage. Painted portraits of whom adorned certain walls on their approach to the young master's bedroom. Whether bespectacled with prodigious beards or donning Victorian-era garbs with fluffy dresses, their attire and demeanor enlightened those watching as to what specific period in time they hailed from, although within the shadowed lighting of the hallways one could be mistaken for thinking those painted eyes were following the trio...

"Hmm, that's a dilly of a question. Well we've known the young Master goin' on a couple of years now, but it's honestly a lil tough packaging everything about him down to just a couple a sentences and quippy one-liners."
Sandy stated with her index finger propped against her chin as she gawked at the ceiling above in brow-furrowed thought, the master bedroom coming into vision at the farthest end of the hallway with the initials "K.V." cursively assigned to it in golden lettering. "Guess I can try then. If I know Kurt, he'll be just as passionate about showing you and your friends a good time, as he will be about winning this debut match, as he is about innovating his publication, as he is about taking care of us two along with all the other models, etcetera and so forth. Trust me, if he's gone to this much trouble for his debut, it means he seems something in you. But don't take it from us. Ask him yourself~..." Louise then unlocking and opening the door once they reached it, with Sandy gesturing for Abigail to proceed inside...

Vander Bedroom:

Scarlet rose petals fluttered around the carpeted flooring from the wafting breeze that came with their arrival, shimmering candles dotted around the expansive bedroom flickering from the same gust of air. Marble white sofas and couches complementing the emblazoned crimson red of the other furnishings. Golden amber illuminated the room thanks to the candles and lamp shading, offering a radiant warmth that was only eclipsed by the moonlight from an adjoining terrace window. Two glasses of wine were perched atop one of the tables before Kurt himself would waltz into view and take one in each hand. "Quite a view, isn't it? Whenever beauty takes my breath away, I can't help but smile, and greet it warmly. Kurt Vander~..." Kurt courteously introducing himself while offering Abigail a glass of wine, Louise closing and locking the door behind Abbey. "Don't worry, you have my word there's nothing inside that glass except vintage wine. I'd get disqualified instantly if I tried that anyway. I checked~..." A sly wink accompanying does words to show that he was joking, attempting to add some levity.

"So, what shall we drink to?"
Kurt smirking while offering the side of his glass to clinked against by Abigail's own cup.

Kurt Vander:

The House That Vander Built - Abigail Le Grande vs. Kurt Vander Empty Re: The House That Vander Built - Abigail Le Grande vs. Kurt Vander

Post by Yori Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:56 am

The question had appeared straightforward at first, but much like her interactions with Trixie and Beckett, it seemed that simple inquiries were often met with evasion. Sandy's lack of response prompted a grimace from Abigail, who was on the verge of refining her question when Louise intervened, drowning the inquiry in a flood of vague information. Before Abigail could interject, they reached their destination, and the expectation was placed on her to proceed. Both women scrutinized her as the door swung open, granting her a glimpse into the space where she would spend some time, at least until she defeated the master of the house. She had wanted to press for more information, but as her gaze swept into the room, she was struck by a subtle sense of awe.

It was easy to overlook the grandeur of the vaulted ceilings and crowded rooms elsewhere in the manor, where everything seemed to exist without purpose. Just rooms with stuff. But here, in this place, she understood its intended significance, and its grandeur resonated with her in a way the opulent decorations of the manor had not. Taking a few hesitant steps inside, she absorbed the tranquil ambiance, reminiscent of an island getaway advertisement or a romantic movie scene. She felt underdressed, her smart formal attire paling in comparison to Beckett's flowing gowns when presented with such a scene.

"Yeah..." Abigail murmured to the young man who appeared before her, responding to a question that really had needed no answer. She instinctively stepped back as he approached, only to find the door behind her already closed, the soft click of the lock the only evidence of her guides' fading existence. She found herself blushing at Kurt's words and tone, despite an inquisitive voice in the back of her head yearning to probe the gaps in his statement. She found herself at a loss for words though and simply reached up to delicately take the glass he offered without even realizing she had done it.

She hadn't thought to inspect her drink, but her gaze drifted to the deep red liquid nonetheless when the joke was made. As Kurt raised his glass in a toast, Abigail peeled herself away from the door, refusing to be cornered against the wall. Taking a few quick strides for distance, she turned back to Kurt with a coy smile, attempting to pass off her sudden apprehension as exuberance. With a nervous chuckle, she lifted her glass without moving closer for a toast. "Abigail LeGrande... but you already knew that, thanks to the guards and... the maids, or were they models? The bunny girls."
