The Battle Continues: Emily Nelson vs Natasha Han

"Ah...hah..." Emily was gasping wearily for air by this point as Natasha womanhandled her, shoving her around so that they were face to face. Emily only had a brief impression of Natasha impassively staring her over, as though appraising her for weakness or imperfection, before the Russian's forearm chopped hard between her breasts.

"AUGH!" The blow stung, blasting more air out of her lungs as she doubled over, one arm sliding across her lycra-covered chest as she rotated sideways, the other arm barely clinging to the turnbuckle. Her air was ragged at this point, but she knew she had to strike back somehow. "You...bloody..." she managed to breathe, defiance rising within her as she used her free arm to lash out blindly with an elbow strike.

"Are you being upset...?" Natasha asked, grabbing Emily to shove her back up against the turnbuckle again. "Can you not fight back? Is not a hard thing to do, Emily." For a brief moment, she almost felt bad. She was completely dominating her friend and her rival, and the Scotswoman barely seemed to be putting up a fight. A match was a match though, and even against Emily Natasha wasn't going to hold back, not when victory seemed so close to her.

Once she had shoved Emily into the corner again, her arm drew back once more, aiming another swift, powerful chop back at the Scotswoman, aiming to strike the same spot as the first. However, before Natasha could fire away with her attack, up came Emily's elbow. The sudden, blind blow struck her squarely in the face, and the Russian began to stumble back away from Emily, more in surprise than any kind of pain.

The elbow strike was a blind, desperate move on Emily's part, but it paid off, nailing Natasha in the face and sending her staggering back. This gave Emily some much-needed breathing space, and more importantly, an opportunity to retake control of this match.

"Well..." she breathed in response to Natasha, "...you're...right about...the last part." Rushing forwards, the Scotswoman would try to grab Natasha by the head, before leaping forwards with the aim of bulldogging the Russian face-first into the mat.

Natasha hadn't been expecting that elbow attack from Emily. It really seemed as if it came out of nowhere!

Just like the bulldog seemed. Natasha lowered her hands, starting to turn back to Emily, just in time to hear the woman rushing towards her. She felt the sensation of Emily's hands upon the back of her head, and the next thing she knew? She had eaten a face full of canvas, her face slammed hard right into the mat. A groan passed through her lips, as she rolled onto her side, hurting but pleased that Emily had turned things back around...for the moment, at least.

The canvas rocked as Emily brought Natasha slamming, face-down, onto the mat, the impact leaving Natasha sprawledd unceremoniously on her front. Having landed on her butt next to the Russian, Emily sat upright and brushed her now-damp hair out of her face, taking several deep breaths to regain her energy. She was lucky, she thought, to have nailed Natasha with that desperate elbow when she did.

Shoving the Russian over onto her back, Emily turned and lay across Natasha's chest, hooking one of her slender legs for the pinfall. In an instant, the ref girl was down beside her starting the countdown. "ONE..."

Natasha let out a groan, as Emily slid onto her, covering her for the pin. She took in a deep breath, as the referee continued her count.

"TWO!"

When Natasha heard that sound, she knew that her break time was over. She jerked her body to the side, trying to get her shoulder off the mat and break Emily's pin.

Just before the count could reach three, Emily felt Natasha's fit form arch up underneath her, the Russian getting a shoulder up at the last second. Breathing deeply, Emily knelt upright and brushed her hair back. Just as she had figured, it was going to take a lot to bring Natasha down.

Standing upright, Emily tried to grab for Natasha's booted heel and lift her leg up. "Not bad," she breathed, "but if I remember right, your legs aren't too flexible, Nat." She would then stomp once on Natasha's thigh, before dropping into a sitting position, interlocking her slender legs with Natasha's and leaning back on her palms to stretch away at the other woman with a figure four leg lock.

Natasha lied back down after she got her shoulder up. She was relieved that she had broken the pin, but she still needed a brief moment to recover from Emily's expertly applied bulldog.

It was a moment she wasn't going to get though. Up went Emily, and down came her foot, straight into Natasha's thigh. The Russian sat up in a bolt, letting out a hiss, a cry of pain, then dropping back down towards the mat. She paused just a brief second, then started to get up again, but then Emily dropped back to the mat, trying to wrap her into the figure four hold.

"N...no!" She yelped towards her, not wanting to get trapped within the dangerous hold. She placed her hands on the mat to brace herself, and as Emily tried to entwine their legs together, the Russian would try to yank her better leg back away from her, then shoot it forward again, trying to drive a kick towards her rival to get her away.

Even as Emily grabbed a hold of Natasha's purple boots, the Russian woman yanked them back hard, wrenching them free from Emily's grip and almost pulling her off balance. Catching herself at the last minute, Emily was still left flat-footed...which meant she was caught all the more by surprise as Natasha snapped a follow-up kick into her, slamming her boot into her knee.

"AUGH!" Emily cried, collapsing onto her side and curling up into a ball, clutching her hurting knee. Her knee pad had, thankfully, absorbed most of the hit, but it still left her hurting and sore. "Fffffffeck..."

Natasha sat up, determined to not let Emily get the advantage back over her again. She began to rise up, keeping her eyes on Emily the entire time, tsking lightly in her direction.

Once she was on her feet, she tried to circle around towards Emily's legs. "This may be of the hurting..." she stately plainly, taking the time to reach down to try and grab one of the Scotswoman's legs, the one that had the knee she had kicked. "Actually, I lie. This will definitely be of hurting." She tried to grasp that leg, trying to use it to roll Emily over onto her belly. Then, she would lift it up, going to try and drive Emily's hurt knee straight down into the canvas!
