The Battle Continues: Emily Nelson vs Natasha Han

Staring back at the Russian, Emily smiled. Both women were sweaty, red-faced and exhausted after this rough match, but even though they had battered the hell out of each other, it was clear to the audience that they still had a healthy respect for one another.

Emily firmly shook Natasha's hand. "Good match, luv." She felt a tiny thrill of elation at having actually beat one of the top wrestlers of the old Wrestle Angels league. Shaking Natasha's hand firmly, she leaned close and gave Natasha a friendly hug. "Always a pleasure t'kick your ass."

Natasha leaned towards Emily...or it looked like leaning. She was tired enough that it almost felt like falling forward. She lifted her arms up, hugging her friend back, and lowered her voice to a whisper in response. "It is? As I am recalling, this is the first time you have kicked my ass." She grinned after that though, and rested her head against Emily's shoulder, glad for a moment to relax after such a grueling match.

"Feh. Details," Emily replied jokingly as she let Natasha lean on her for a bit. Slowly, though, she released her hug and kept a firm grip on Natasha's hand, propping her upright while at the same time maintaining the handshake. The crowd cheered at the display of good sportswomanship between these two former Wrestle Angels.

"It won't be the first time, though, I assure ye," she said with a grin. "Ye'd best get used tae being cabered into the mat, Natasha, because it's what ye'll get if ye want to take me on again." And Emily hoped that Natasha would indeed take her on again.

Natasha grinned right back at Emily, keeping her hand held tight. "Nonsense. This time, I went easy on you. Next time? You will be the one 'cabered' into the mat. Not even debatable." she teased back towards her friend and rival.

"And do not worry," she continued, panting softly between her words. "I will definitely be wanting to be taking you on again. You will not be getting away from me that easy!" She laughed, then shook her head. "Come. We should probably be leaving now, da?"

Emily nodded. "Aye, we'd best, before the wee ref girl starts tantruming at us."

And with that, Emily, helped her hobbling opponent out of the ring. To the cheers of their fans, the two friends exited the arena.
