[Pendant Match] Kawaii: Adrian vs Cerbera

Submission holds, that could work. Yeah it'd be a really boring match with nothing but submission holds but the cosplayer was confident in her ability to make things interesting enough. "Okay... I'll whip you off into the ropes, you duck a clothesline then hit me with a crossbody... then you... I dunno, try to go for an armbar." Adrian instructed, a few people back in her old indys where they didn't want to really kill themselves for peanuts would call sequences out for their opponents to do, trying to make it look like they were fighting for real to the crowd and get hurt a lot less for the same small paycheck.

Rebecca was usually in charge of trying to find those people out, going over the old tapes with Adrian, trying to find the punches that never hit but everyone acted like they did. The cosplayer hadn't 'worked' a punch in ages but a few things like this, the crossbody would hurt but at least it was all doable and she'd hopefully be fine.

" Okay.. " She would say in that same hushed tone, following Adrian's instructions. she just waited for Adrian to throw her to the ropes, knowing that she had to be accurate and keep everything in check. Once Adrian whipped her, she would bounce back from the ropes and saw that Adrian was going for the clothesline just as planned, ducking underneath the arm, only her twin tails taking the hit but having no real impact in her own advance as she bounced from the opposite ropes and jumped up against Adrian in a crossbody launch, bringing the girl to the ground and quickly, though not too quickly since they were stalling, tried to slip that armbar on Adrian.

It all went smoothly as could be, backing Cerbera up into the ropes so she could whip her off to the other side, then charging into the centre only to whiff her clothesline and turn into a crossbody. "Ugh!" She grunted, 100lbs was not something you could just take on the chest, even if she did manage to catch her somewhat. Still she kicked her legs as Cerbera slipped on the armbar, centre of the ring. "Nggghhhhh!" The cosplayer let out as she tried to slowly shuffle to the ropes. Doing her best to look like that this arm lock really hurt.

Cerbera was thinking of ways to stall while Adrian was starting to move towards the ropes, making Cerbera plant her feet onto the mat, loosing the armbar slightly so she could press down and forward, trying to make Adrian stay put and not give her any inch further towards the ropes. Though she wasn't aiming at hurting Adrian, since the hold was basically as weak as it can get, she tried to keep it as long as possible just to make more time to by.

"Aaaah!" Adrian cried out as she continued to struggle to the ropes, before trying to whisper to Cerbera "come on, let me get to the ropes, if you don't they're gonna either figure us out or think my arm's gone the wrong way... and I can't dislocate my own shoulder for that effect. Well, I could... but it was really painful and I don't really want to do it anymore because sometimes I can't put it back to normal so..."

"Do you give?" The referee asked, breaking Adrian's own mini-ramble.

"NO!" Adrian shouted back to the ref before stretching out her hand to reach the ropes, they were still a fair bit away but she couldn't spend all the match in the armbar.

" I'm only buying a little more time for us! " She would reply back rather quickly, noticing the ref coming over and asking Adrian to surrender, the answer was obvious though. Suddenly, Cerbera would release Adrian and flip herself onto her feet, leaning down to try and grasp Adrian by that same arm to try and force her up onto her feet, deciding to add more wrestling into this match to waste time, once she had Adrian up onto her feet, Cerbera would try to whip Adrian towards the turnbuckle.

"I know that..." she hissed back as Cerbera released her hold, the cosplayer immediatley grasping her "wounded" arm and thankful that Cerbera wasn't known for her submissions, just letting go when she was still a foot away from the ropes looked like an amateur mistake to a submission wrestler but for a striker it would look as though she had weakened the cosplayer enough to stop Adrian from blocking her kicks with that arm.

"Wahhh!" Adrian yelped as she was sent into the corner, putting a little impact as she spun around to hit it back first, "What has Gatt been feeding you?" she asked out loud, trying to do her best impression of hurt and stunned.

Cerbera couldn't help but smirk when she heard Adrian's words, it was true that Cerbera had gotten a lot stronger and tougher. Though it was not her idea to hurt Adrian with that throw, she still had to get used to adjusting her strength in matches like these. She soon came running straight towards Adrian, her eyes set on the girl, who was still resting against the turnbuckle and soon leaped forward to try and slam her body straight against Adrian's for a splash attempt.

Sooner or later, Adrian was going to have to fight back. Yes this was all in the name of wasting time and for the most part her idea but to everyone it looked like she was getting her butt kicked by a kawaii, and she could be possessed by literal devils actually giving her super mega powers and it would still be embarrassing for her. But if she did anything too violent, Cerbera might go back on the deal and she'd really have to fight her. Still, evasive maneuvers were always a good idea.

As Cerbera jumped up for her big splash, Adrian grabbed the top rope with her 'good' arm and used it to pull herself out of harms way, leavingthe Russian to belly-flop the corner.

Cerbera couldn't time the splash well and Arian managed to escape before she was hit by it, making Cerbera hit the turnbuckle chest first, causing Cerbera to grunt loudly in pain and fall onto her back, clutching her chest and panted softly for air, she didn't expect the turnbuckle to hurt that much, just taking some time to rest up and allow both of them to not only recover, but also to stall time, that was Cerbera's true goal. Still, that impact was a little harder then she wanted it to be, much preferring Adrian's front to cushion the blow.
