The second one, only not that simple. I always disliked the "Randomly found AFW and just joined up because thats totally how companies work" kind of profile. What I find is difficult is trying to make a good, reasonable profile explaining what got this person into hentai wrestling, and what got the AFW's attention to them in the first place. Theres only so many ways you can transition a character into hentai wrestling.

The problem comes when you try to make a "girl-next-door" type of character who suddenly BLAM! joins Hentai Wrestling...

Of course the AFW universe is very different from the real universe

First, wrestling is real not staged. Aslo AFW has monopolized the female wrestling industry. And it has been established again and again that the AFW recruiters will hire just about anyone. Even Tai.

Well, consider the issues that lead a person to jump into porn, and then consider that porn is shot in closed off spaces with only a few people in the room. Now try to imagine what would lead someone to do something even more risque, but in front of thousands and thousands of people. I would never dream of making a hentai wrestler even remotely well adjusted.

It is a fantasy universe, blue. You don't have to think.. what would REALLY happen if AFW existed.

if something like AFW existed in the real world it would be a very small company with zero appeal beyond a small group of fans. It will not be the huge company AFW is supposed to be. It will not have idols, who retain their status as pop idols, wrestling for it. It would not have such a huge amount of girls that should be in jail. It wouldn't have any respectable fighter joining in. It would not have its own arena It would not have money to produce all the shows it does (think about how many matches -all of them televised- AFW has).
