Dixie Clemets vs. Rainbow Mika ~The Cowgirl Returns~

Dixie had to admit, she was surprised as Mika's own arm came up at her. She felt the impact of her toned arm slamming into Mika, at the same time she felt Mika's arm smashing hard into her throat. Together they both went down, Dixie ending up on her side near the girl, grasping at her neck with one hand, taking in several slow, deep breaths. That had hurt more than she thought it would, but she was still full of fight, she just needed to shake off this attack and get back on her feet.

Mika, meanwhile, had to admit that Dixie had some good strength behind her arm as she rolled on her back, blinking as she tried to clear the cobwebs from her head. Slowly, she rolled back up onto her knees, shaking off the dizziness as she pushed herself to her feet, ready to face Dixie once again. "Not...bad..."

Dixie began to rise at almost the same time as Mika did. She locked her eyes with the girl again as they each rose back to her feet, taking another breath to steady herself. Maybe she had gotten too caught up in her own bravado earlier, maybe she had even underestimated Mika a bit, but it was time for her to start taking things a bit more seriously.

Once she felt herself solidly back on two feet, Dixie moved back in towards Mika, giving her a brief nod as she raised her hands into the air. She was offering an attempt at a lockup to Mika, this time intending to take it full-on if her fellow blonde would accept it.

Although she was a little wary after Dixie's last sneaky blow, Mika was never once to turn down a head-on challenge-- even when she ought to have known better. Grinning a little, she nodded and rushed in against Dixie, grappling and pushing against the Texan as they locked up collar and elbow. She held her breath, her cheek brushing against Dixie's as she tried to force the cowgirl back.

Dixie pushed right back against Mika, her well-toned arms bulging as she vied for the advantage against her. She dug her boots into the mat, trying to keep Mika would pushing her back as she tried to do the exact same to her!

She couldn't help grinning back at Mika, feeling a bit of a shiver as her cheek brushed against Dixie's own. A small 'mmf' sound passed her lips, Dixie trying to best to force Mika right back to the other side of the ring.

Mika gritted her teeth, closing her eyes as she struggled against Dixie. Slowly but surely, she felt herself being pushed back, her her boots scraping against the mat as she fought to keep stationary, her chin resting against Dixie's shoulder. Damn, this girl WAS strong!

For all her efforts, she felt the taller girl pushing her back towards the ropes. With a supreme effort, she twisted her body around, hoping to reverse their position and push Dixie against the ropes at the last minute. If she was successful, she would try to break and kick Dixie squarely in the midsection.

Damn right Dixie was strong!

Now they they were locked up with each other, Dixie knew the two of them were fairly evenly matched now. She knew that Mika was faster than her, but she definately felt she had the strength advantage against Mika.

Dixie grinned a bit wider as she felt the two of them nearing the ropes. She was ready to break the lockup and try to attack Mika now, when the woman suddenly twisted her body. She felt herself slamming up into the ropes, but as Mika came up for the kick her hands would naturally slide in front of her to protect herself, trying to stop the kick and even catch her leg if she could.

Behind her mask, Mika went wide-eyed as Dixie caught her boot inches away from this midsection. Dixie was faster than she looked, not just stronger!

Mika, however, fell back on her expereince, and reacted quickly, twisting her body to launch her second leg upwards to kick across Dixie's face. It was a move she'd had used against her several times before (especially by Sakura-san), and she was hoping that it would work as much on Dixie as it had worked against her.

It would work quite well, in fact. Mika's boot smacked Dixie in the face, forcing the cowgirl to release her leg as she went staggering to the side. She didn't fall however, Dixie was merely thrown off her balance, stumbling to the side towards a corner of the ring after the kick hit her.

As Dixie stumbled towards the corner, Mika moved after her. Now that she had the upper hand in this match, she wasn't going to let Dixie turn things around. Grabbing at Dixie's shoulders to turn her around, Mika would send a hard forearm chop just above the Texan's chest, aiming to keep her stunned more than actually hurt her.
