"Heh... I got faith in ya Goldilocks... But I ain't gonna feel safe till I get this bad boy home..." Clyde would state to Cecilia as he looked down at the belt in his hands, looking into the eyes of its demonic and monstrous face. "Business district... Across from The Gojo Subway station you'll see a Noodle Stand on the corner. Take a right down the next street after you pass that up. We'll hit the apartment complex... Top Floor... First door on the right...". Clyde would state to Cecilia as he gave her directions while she helped him into his seat, just before the two took off from the parking lot, the Texan growing a bit tired as the two drove off, and while it wasn't only a very short distance away, Clyde was barely staying awake at this point.

"We're... Almost there.... I owe ya Goldilocks..." Clyde would tell Cecilia as he rested his head on her shoulder, happy to be champion and be in such good company with Cecilia, now only desiring to make it back home.

Cecilia smiled at Clyde as he told her that he had faith in her, she liked that fact that Clyde seemed to trust her, and she had to admit that as nerve wrecking this whole thing was she did like to spend some time with Clyde, but it was not the time for that, as she drove the way Clyde had directed her to, she smiled again as Clyde leaned his head on her shoulder, " That's right...you owe me now..." Cecilia teased before she laughed a little.

As she finally reached the apartment complex she pulled up before it, "Are you awake Cowboy" Cecilia said as she looked over at Clyde, before she would move out of the car and over to the passenger door, helping Clyde out carefully, "Okay...top floor right?" Cecilia said as she closed the doors and locked the car, before she began to make her way into the apartment complex with Clyde.

Taking them up to the top floor where she would look over at Clyde, "Which door was it?...the first on the right?" she said, actually a bit nervous over how Heather would react when she saw her, hoping that she wouldn't be attacked as soon as Heather saw her.

"Heh... Yeah I guess I do..." Clyde would comment with a laugh while scratching the back of his head nervously, clearly awake despite being a bit tired, he had no problems owing Cecilia for her help, he just hoped she didn't take advantage of his word to her.

"Y-Yeah... Top Floor..." Clyde would say to Cecilia just as she helped him out of the car, wrapping his arm over her shoulder tightly as she helped him towards the apartment complex and towards the top floor. "Right here... First one on the right..." Clyde would motion to Cecilia to take him towards the door, which he would soon knock on once he reached it, finally able to show Heather what he had done, draping the belt over his other shoulder.

"I Won this for ya..." Clyde would be ready to tell Heather once she opened that door.

The Opposer's Grace - Page 2 Empty Re: The Opposer's Grace

Post by TiefBlau Thu Aug 18, 2011 7:21 pm

Arriving back home earlier in the day, Heather was able to catch most of Clyde's 24/7 title match. She saw how brutal the fight was, and needless to say, the more it went on the more worried she became. While she was glad Clyde was keeping straight to the hardcore stuff, really showing what he could do out there, she didn't want him to get hurt too badly. "Egh...that idiot." Heather would say with a bit of a smile on her face as she remembered Clyde's botched attempt at replicating her finishing move. She felt good that he would try and do something like that for her, but she knew he wasn't going to be able to pull it off. If it was that easy, she wouldn't be known as much of a specialist.

However, she was pacing back and forth in the apartment in her usual dark purple dress, waiting for his arrival after she witnessed the attempted attack on him shortly after the match. She realized how dangerous it was to hold that title, and prayed that he would be able to make it home safely. If it weren't for the accident the two were a part of, she would have already been down at the arena to pick him up, however that was something that was out of her control. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity to her, she heard the knock at the door.

"C-clyde!" Heather would yell out as she ran to the door swinging it open. She would stare at him with her eyes open wide, noticing the state that he was in. Hearing his words, she would shake her head, her smile still on her face. "A-amazing..you did great..But we have to--" Suddenly Heather noticed something was amiss. She was just about to wrap her arms around Clyde when she would turn her vision to his side where she saw Cecilia there. Her smile suddenly turned to a blank expression, then one of an almost disgust.

"...What...the hell is this slut doing here...and why are you even NEAR her...Does she really have the nerve to start this again??" Heather would say, shooting a deep glare at Cecilia, assuming the worst as she wouldn't even address her directly.

Cecilia jumped up a bit as the door swung open, clearly nervous over how this would go, but she smile a little bit when she heard what Clyde said and how happy the two seemed to be seeing each other, at least that was before Heather saw Cecilia, suddenly everything turned cold for Cecilia, as she looked on at Heather, and the girl didn't seem to be happy to see her, she stopped smiling "I..I..." was all she got out before Heather spoke about her as if she wasn't there, "Maybe I should just leave here...no I have to apologize" Cecilia thought to herself as she didn't care about Heather insulting her, she felt that maybe she deserved it.

"It's not what you think.... I-I am sorry...I was just trying to help him get back home...Heather...Just wanted to get your boy back safe.....He didn't do anything if that's what you think.....but yeah...he couldn't walk to good so I brought him here....Sorry." Cecilia wasn't really sure what she was going to say, stumbling upon words and uncertain of how to explain the situation, she didn't want Heather to be mad at her or Clyde, but considering what had happened between her and Clyde before she couldn't blame Heather for thing the worst of the situation." Just figured I should help him out and stuff....also...didn't think it would be to fair if he lost his title before he could even properly defend it....Ehmm...Sorry....Clyde...help me out a bit would you?" Cecilia said as she looked at Heather, she showed a friendly face towards her, as she didn't really know how to deal with the situation, and since she wasn't entirely sure how to deal with Heather either, she had only seen here once before this time and then she was pissed, and now she was at least upset, Cecilia guesses.

The Opposer's Grace - Page 2 Empty Re: The Opposer's Grace

Post by Lobo Thu Aug 18, 2011 8:50 pm

Relief swept over Clyde as he finally made it back home to Heather's and still a champ as well, more than happy to see that warm smile on her face as she greeted him at the door. He could tell by the look on her face she was a bit shocked by his battered and slightly bloody appearance, but it wasn't anything that time couldn't heal. But things went sour apparently as Heather looked to Cecilia and was instantly displeased to see her. He had a hunch things would turn out like this.

"Aww Heather, calm down girl; Cecilia ain't done nuthin', and she ain't here to pick a fight either. She helped me get here... I collapsed on the sidewalk... She... She protected me too..." Clyde would add as looked to Heather before pointing at the bandage on his head. All before slumping and staggering his way off of Cecilia to stumble a bit towards Heather, trying to catch himself on the doorway just in front of her.

"We didn't do nuthin'... I promise ya... Just wanted to get back home..." Clyde would mutter before showing Heather his title belt, handing it to her. "...Now they can't say I ain't worth anything..."

The Opposer's Grace - Page 2 Empty Re: The Opposer's Grace

Post by TiefBlau Fri Aug 19, 2011 12:41 am

While Heather wouldn't make it apparent, she would listen to the words of Cecilia. She still couldn't stand the girl after what she coerced Clyde into doing during their fight, and couldn't believe that she could change her attitude so dramatically. It just didn't seem possible how she was clearly flirting and seducing Clyde when the two were in the ring, convincing him to just think of her, and now she was here apologizing, acting like she would rather Heather and Clyde be together. It seemed surreal to Heather, but she couldn't deny that the girl sounded genuine, and it pissed her off a bit. She wanted to get back at the girl who acted that way with Clyde, however she couldn't when she was acting this way.

"...You're sorry?" was all that Heather could get out at first towards Cecilia as she heard her words. Heather would then turn her attention to Clyde as she heard him begin talking. He confirmed the fact that Cecilia wasn't out to get him at the moment, and was a bit surprised to find out that Cecilia had protected him. "Y...you collapsed on the sidewalk?? Damn Clyde I knew I should have been there waiting for you. I..I'm glad you're ok now though."

As Clyde handed Heather the belt, saying his little statement, she looked the belt over and shook her head, laughing to herself a bit. "Don't be ridiculous Clyde. Like you need this to prove anything. Whoever was to say you weren't worth anything before didn't know shit about you...Still I'm happy for you and I'm glad you're back safe." Heather would say with a smile before directing her attention back to Cecilia.

"Th......." She would let out before shuffling around a bit, biting her lip and looking down before looking back up at the girl. "....thank you for hleping him...If you hadn't..I don't even want to know what would have happened...but..that..doesn't make us friends..."

The Opposer's Grace - Page 2 Empty Re: The Opposer's Grace

Post by LunarWolf Fri Aug 19, 2011 1:04 am

Cecilia looked on as Heather and Clyde talked, hoping that Heather could forgive her and hoping that what she did now would help with both Clyde and Heather forgiving her for what she had done in the match she had with Clyde, she hadn't really thought that the two of them were as serious as the were when she had been flirting and playing around with Clyde, she had a slight crush on Clyde that was for sure, but that didn't mean that she would destroy the relationship between two people that seemed to have deeper affection for each other than just a small crush.

Cecilia blushed a bit as Heather thanked her, and she looked at her, clearly seeing that she was bothering the girl, it wasn't enough for Cecilia, she had to spill everything, she would never admit it but she was feeling pretty bad about what she had done to the two, "Ehm....Look H-Heather...I am really sorry about what I did to Clyde in our match....I knew you were together....It just....just that I didn't think It was so...so serious....I know...you might no be able to forgive me....but I just have to tell you the truth...and it's not like Clyde really said anything of the things that I told you about.....Oh yeah...really sorry about that as well Clyde....I was just teasing....and I guess it got a bit out of hand....I am really sorry you two" Cecilia said as she blushed and scratched the back of her head, as she looked back and forth between Clyde and Heather, focusing mostly on Heather as it was her she wanted to be forgiven by.

The Opposer's Grace - Page 2 Empty Re: The Opposer's Grace

Post by Lobo Fri Aug 19, 2011 6:54 am

Standing between Cecilia and Heather as he slumped against the doorway, Clyde would look back and forth between the two women, able to sense Cecilia's desire for a peaceful encounter, while Heather seemed reluctant to bury the hatchet between them, which started the previous day. Clyde honestly didn't expect Heather to warm up to Cecilia, especially since she was past of the cause of the confrontation that began with the two of them. He was surprised however by how much Cecilia had changed, no longer as shamelessly flirty or deceptive as she was during their first encounter with the girl.

"Heh... Ain't gotta worry Heather... Not like wouldn't of gotten up eventually... Besides you went to go see Bonnie!" Clyde would state as he tried to make her feel a little bit better about her not being able to be there for him at the end of the match. He would avoid telling her however that he most likely collapsed because he was so driven to make it back to the apartment as a champ despite bleeding so heavily. But as Heather let out her small laugh before hearing her words about how he didn't need the belt to prove his worth, which Clyde didn't really seem to understand as he looked onto Heather in confusion. In his mind he was still a bum, but this belt now proved that he was worth something now since he was a champ. Unable to really comprehend Heather's words, he would smile back at her though as she congratulated him. "Couldn't of made it home without ya waitin' for me, babe..." Clyde would remark to Heather with a nervous grin.

Clyde then heard the rest of Cecilia's words being spoken by her as she apologizes about her previous antics with Clyde and Heather, desiring to be forgiven by the couple, or at least Heather in this case. "I... I forgive ya, Goldilocks... Even though Im just as guilty." Clyde would state to Cecilia as he tried to steady his wobbling leg before looking over at Heather, waiting to see her response.

The Opposer's Grace - Page 2 Empty Re: The Opposer's Grace

Post by TiefBlau Fri Aug 19, 2011 2:19 pm

"You're crazy Clyde. I really wish you would stop pushing yourself...but it seems like now with this belt that won't be happening." Heather would say, trying to keep her expression to a smile to hide her slight bit of regret that he held such a dangerous title. She took it upon herself to just think that she'd have to protect him as well as him looking out for himself now. No problem, she figured, if it was for him she would take on anyone...as shown in her little 'confrontation' with Kelly Conway.

Hearing his next words though gave her quite the warm feeling. She smiled big at him and nodded her head. "Would have waited for as long as I had to Clyde." She said in response, handing Clyde back the Belt, putting it over his shoulder and patting it. "Or..I guess I should say, champ" She would add with a bit of an amused tone, adding to the moment.

Looking back over at Cecilia, she would hear her words, going through her thoughts as she did. It wasn't going to be easy just to forgive her, and Heather actually seemed a bit empty not having the Cecilia that she saw out in the ring here so she could challenge her herself. She wanted to exact revenge, but there was no way she could on the current Cecilia. She was way too genuine and kind for any of that. Mulling it over, Heather would cross her arms under her chest and nod at Cecilia.

"I..I guess..if you hadn't gotten me so mad at Clyde on that day....we really wouldn't be as close as we are now..for that I can't help but thank you...so..I guess...when it comes down to it...I...I can..forgive you." Heather would finally say, the words she felt were tough coming out of her mouth as she would look up at Cecilia into her eyes, trying to hold back her urges and really forgive the girl, ignoring the fact that Clyde did so quickly.
