Because it has already been established that they are fictious characters within the AFW universe, to the point other characters cosplay as them.

Wait what universe, people cosplay as real people all the time, I mean Batman, Naruto, Cloud Strife.

And let's not forget that wearing a sports shirt with the name and number of that player can also be called cosplaying :mrgreen:

and if the fabric of the universe was in danger a phenomenon called Universal tearing would happen, where the damaged to the universe would be clearly visible from anyone point of view.

She was talking about the AFW Universe and about how the Street Fighter chars are "Fictional" in that world. Much like the real world.

But the fact that we have KOF, SF, and Final Fight chars as "Real" people within the AFW universe, upsets the fabric of everything.

Not that im taking sides and telling ppl to delete their chars. Just clearing things up.

If I may offer a compromise, wrestlers have gimmicks, right? It's possible that the characters gimmick's could be heavily (To the point where they even believe it) based on the actual characters.
