"Say you promise!" Songbird replied as she would slowly release Emerald's foot.

"Fine I promise." She pouted.

She was willing to keep her word if Songbird the same as well, but the moment she did that, she would pull her up by her hair so as to set her up for a grapple move.

Songbird was in the grapple once more, but then she would grab Emerald's head and go for some headbutting before she would trip one leg to the side and punch her in the stomach several times.

The headbutt caught her off guard, and she was dazed for a moment, until Songbird slamed several fist into her stomach.

SHe grunted and coughed almost throwing out, but she quickly performed a hip toss to break the distance between them.

Songbird took the hip toss, but she would quickly scramble, get herself back up, and ready herself.

Emerald circled around Songbird in a defeinsive position, she wanted to see what Songbird would do next.

Songbird would smile as she followed Emerald's movement. "You're pretty tough, Emerald. I'll give you that." She was still prepared for whatever Emerald throws at her.

"Glad you think so, because I feel the same way about you." She replied as she slowly walked closer, and started throwing some light punches.

"You're very kind." said Songbird as she would block a few light punches before going at a backflip kick to Emerald's face and a haymaker punch.

Emerald held back and used light punches allowing enough recovery time to block the backflip, however the haymaker punch still managed to slam straight into her face, stumbling her.
