Boy, let me say that I couldn't have agreed with you more. Resident evil 1,2,3 and Code Veronica are my personal faves. 4 was okay. The action was okay and it made you still feel afriad, but in a different type of fear. The first four games gave you this tension. This type of fear that you got from knowing that you had little to no ammo, herbs, ect, and the zombies were hard to put down. The music gave off an atmospheric feel as well.
4 felt more like an action thriller. You were facing impossible odds that only got more difficult as the game progressed.
As for 5, one of my boyfriends brought over a copy of it during my stay in NYC this summer. Part 5 was absolute ass, I'm sorry to say. 5 sucked. I hated it.

As much as I love Sonic Adventure 2: Battle... (And i do since i still own it) It's not among my top faves... not like the 1st Sonic Adventure or Sonic 1 & 2

I love RE 1-4. With 2 & 4 being my favorites... I tried 5 the other day at the request of a friend... Pure Horseshit... >.>
