The Barbarian clashes with The Goddess! Veronika vs. Aisha

Veronika was lucky to have the height advantage on her side, it gave her an easy advantage in grabbing and launching. Of course like everything else, things have their limit. The Russian would hug their rather toned waist tightly, she was surprised how firm it was for someone who didn’t look the part. She wouldn’t dwell on that though, decent figure aside, she’d act on her advantage, bending in her knees to punish their overconfidence.

With her knees bent and locked, she’d suddenly jolt upward, using her weight to combine with the blondes in order to slam their head and shoulders to the mat in a German suplex. The amazon wasn’t aware of what the Goddess was showing, their wardrobe didn’t concern her but from the catcalling and whistles she could only assume that she was showing something.

Her feet raise up on her toes, The ex-solider locked in her position again to bridge Aphrodite against the mat, giving a clear indication that she was going for a pin attempt. Veronika holds the Goddess in her makeshift pin, the referee seeming to take her sweet time to start the count.

”ONE!”

The first slap vibrates along the canvas, but still she continued to hang on, maybe Aphrodite was more rattled than she thought, only a three count could tell her that.

"Ugghh!" Aphrodite would let out, essentially pinned y the suplex as Veronika held the move in place, keeping incidentally the goddess's legs spread out and crotch in view of crowd hollering and catcalling her. Not that she'd very much mind at all, a goddess of love wasn't as caring for personal modesty, such were mortal things or what ever she actually did believe in.

She heard the count but couldn't respond adequately enough in time for the first tap on the mat. Thought she definitely had enough by the second, pushing herself out to break up the pin and push herself away with a rather nice example of her skill. Aphrodite would roll away for a few moments, rubbing the back of her neck.

The first count came and gone with the first slap of the mat, Veronika would lift herself up as high as she could go, hoping to put the shameless Goddess away. The second count came but this time, the Russian felt resistance. With a sudden kick, Aphrodite managed to push herself up off the mat and break the pin. Her hold on the blonde was whisked away as she rolled a fair distance away.

She cursed under her breath as the Goddess began to recover, the Barbarian couldn't exactly blame them, her own body was weathered a bit. Muscles aching and a headache still pounding in her skull. She couldn’t believe that they could do this to her if all people.

Turning herself up on her knees, she’d push up from the canvas, rolling her neck and shoulders to loosen herself up. The pain in her calves began to simmer for now but she knew for a fact she’d be aching in the morning. Whatever she planned on next, she’d need to do it fast, the blonde was certain to put her through the ringer again, and quite frankly she’d like not to limp home.

Veronika would prowl, slowly approaching her target with her arms at her chest height. Overwhelming seemed to be a good strategy since the last few attempts proved fruitful, though she doubted it would work forever. No, maybe she could try being bait. Lure them in with false hope and then crush her. Not a bad idea, now it was just putting it into action that would really test her metal.

Crawling away like a weakling wasn't the best of looks, but a goddess like Aphrodite wasn't above lowering herself if it meant self preservation. Veronika was tough and had outsmarted her now several times. If this kept up she doubted she could hold on to this match for much longer. She needed to rethink her plans. A little rule bending had worked well enough, maybe she could think of a way to do so again rather possibly without the referee catching on too much.

That would be her thoughts as she got to the nearby ropes, slowly trying to crawl up them with her back turned. It was rather possible that maybe she could play this up in her favor, showing a weakened and downed Aphrodite that wouldn't be expected to suddenly spring to life with renewed vigor. She hoped this was the case though as she had been wrong before. She'd purposely then fumble on the ropes, shaking her head both acting and truthfully so. If her opponent took the bait however, she'd quickly dodge out of the way to string them up on the ropes this time.

Veronika watched as the pitiful Goddess limped away, but she wouldn’t dare think that this was easy pickings. Her gut silently instructed her not to fall for it not to get too close without good reason. The ex-solider, perhaps putting a little too much faith in her gut, listened and decided to come up with another plan of attack. Still though no matter how she looked at it, she was going to have to get in close.

Getting a weapon was out of the question. For one, she’d lose not only the match but she’d lose to them mentally. The fight to keep her own code intact was a thin line. Two, if she left the ring and took her eyes off of them for a second could spell doom if she was caught by surprise.

As if the lights turned on, her solution was rather simple. Turning to the ropes, Veronika would make a run for it, dashing to the ropes and applying all her weight to the nylon. She’d rebound hard, the canvas quaking under her feet as she rushed toward the other side of the ropes where Aphrodite crawled to recover. She’d leap, her plan was to drop kick the blonde into oblivion. Although if her attempt succeeded or not was up to the dates now.

Aphrodite was starting to second guess herself as it seemed like Veronika wasn't taking the bait whatsoever. Yet, when all seemed lost it seemed the fates had blessed her as the barbarous fool took the bat finally and charged forward with intent to destroy what was the goddess, or what was left of her will to fight at the moment is at drew rather low. What she'd find as she made her way to deliver a drop kick would be the goddess getting out of very possum like state and moving away right before the drop kick could land, scurrying just out of reach with a burst of strength.

"Perfect," she breathed as she'd then make her own sort of kick, hoping that Veronika was now still recovering from missing. She'd raise her leg up straight in the air before bringing it down, hoping to slam the heel of her foot straight down upon the barbarian's head.

Veronika was confident she was about to send the Goddess down to hades where she belonged, throwing her weight into the drop kick when the possum seemed to wake up. She couldn’t stop herself, her momentum carried her as she hit nothing but air, she quickly rolled into her feet hoping to recover before they could get the drop on her but it was far too late.

As soon as her body perked up on her knees, she saw a leg held high above. She attempted to set up a faulty guard, crossing her arms to catch the kick but the momentum broke it like pencil lead. Through her efforts she managed to miss a head shot but her shoulder was snagged, forcing her body to face plant into the canvas. The Russian was slightly dazed, mulling as she pressed her right hand against the canvas. Her head spinning as she attempted to get to her feet, determined not to fall but a body to slow to understand her commands made it difficult.

This was her chance if not the only chance that she had to really put bring this woman to her knees. It may not be what topples the giant but it was the best she could come up with and in times like these Aphrodite was willing to push it to the limit if it meant winning. She'd quickly move to do so, almost ferally crawling towards Veronika and aimed for grabbing hold of her legs. Not more games, no taunts or ancillary insults. This was business now.

Now at the small of her back almost in what looked like a seated position, Aphrodite would begin an attempt to what looked like a Boston Crab... that was until she began to taking it further, pulling the legs back as far as she could, arching her body until her head was almost right over Veronika's head. She would try to keep the legs tight under her armpits, gritting her teeth as pulled off an Anchor Hold or as she liked to call it Acidalia.

Veronika felt her body pressed back down onto the canvas, Ruby pools find Aphrodite pinning her down before settling on the small of her back. Her gaze widens. No, she wouldn’t... the Russian couldn’t counter in time or roll away, her legs were caught as the blonde catches her legs underneath their shoulders before slowly rolling her back.

The ex-solider couldn’t hold it in, she’d cry out as her back and thighs began to strain. She began to claw at the canvas, panicked breaths left her lips, not like this..she couldn’t lose like this. In her desperation she found blonde strands laying in front of her. In her panicked and desperate state, she’d reach out to the strands, her only way out of those was going for the cowards way out. Veronika wasn’t happy about her choice but this was better than nothing.

With their blonde hair in hand, she’d take hold of it, the silky hair running between her fingers and she’d give it a mighty pull, letting loose another cry as Aphrodite wrenched again.

Aphrodite wrenched back as far as she could, pulling hard as if trying to break the bigger woman in two. This was it, this was the move that could put her away for god, Veronika would submit to her and this would all end. A smile would grow on her face, a sinister one almost as she held back from laughing. All this struggle and it would all pay off.

This smile would then turn to a look of pain as she felt hands tugging and pulling on her blonde hair. This erupted her own cry mixing with that of Veronika's. The barbarous wrestler had grabbed on to her hair, pulling it with a mighty yank that made her scalp feel like it was now on fire, "You... gahhh!" she'd let out, one leg escaping from her grasp as she held on to the other. The now free hand was grabbing at her hair, trying to stop her in a futile manner. The only way out was dropping the hold, but that wouldn't free her from the hair pulling. The referee themselves deciding on if they should break up the two or let the submission continue as both wrestlers seemed to have put themselves in a tight spot.
