"Amazon" Alaina Sander vs. Cecilia Northman

Alaina was dressed and ready backstage, pacing about. She wasn't nervous about this match, she was so excited that she couldn't sit still! She bounced up and down on her feet, shadowboxing and just in general all over the place. She was finally getting to face Cecilia, former Friction champion in a match! Alaina knew if she lost she would be knocked back down the ladder and stuck waiting for opportunity again. The amazon wasn't about to let that happen.

Tonight she would prove that she belonged with the best to ever set foot in a wrestling ring anywhere.

As her music began to play the crowd roared as she came out, high fiving fans all the way down the ramp. Alaina was all smiles and ready to show everyone watching that she was good enough to take the fight to Cecilia, good enough to beat Cecilia. Alaina climbed up onto the apron and through the ropes, walking around the ring with her fists held high into the air. She was going to take the fight to Cecilia in a way that Cecilia had never seen before. Soon even Cecilia would know to fear and respect the amazon.

Alaina soon settled into her corner, doing some stretches as she watched the top of the ramp, waiting for Cecilia to arrive. This seemed like the biggest non-title match she had ever had, and given everything on the line that came with facing a recent Friction champion she knew it was going to be a memorable one.

Had you asked Cecilia about this match, three years ago or so. She would have said that it was inevitable to happen. She had watched the progress of the Amazon and found it odd that she hadn't faced her yet. Though time had kept going and things had changed.

Alaina had fallen into a great slump at one point, and from then the potential match had become a thing that Cecilia lost her sight on Alaina, but recent events had made this battle quite possible. As Cecilia Northman would move towards the ramp. Not long after Alaina had made her way to the ring, would Cecilia's theme start to blast out of the speakers.

The blond powerhouse took to the ramp and began walking down, making her way towards the ring as the crowd cheered for the Friction icon that was Cecilia Northman. Making her way towards the ring, she would watch the Amazon as she entered the squared circle and got up to her feet.

Deciding to step right up to the brunette, Cecilia would close the distance and place herself right up against the slightly shorter Alaina, pushing chest to chest against the Amazon as she would stare straight into the brunette's eyes. " You ready for this?"

Alaina watched Cecilia come down and smiled. Cecilia was every bit as strong, as tough, as driven as Alaina was. Alaina was here to show Cecilia that Alaina was right up there with her. her whole body tensed with anticipation as Cecilia entered the ring. Alaina heard Cecilia and nodded to her. "I am ready, I think you are the one who isn't going to know what hit her."

Alaina said as she stepped up and extended her hand before the bell rang. She was happy to have the chance to face Cecilia. She wanted to beat her clean, no cheap shots, no dirty tactics.... nothing like that. Alaina always wrestled clean and was determined to win with her in-ring skills all by themselves.

Moving up for that staredown with the Amazon, the Hardcore Queen would smirk as her words hit, the brunette seemed to be ready to go and that was exactly what the blond wanted. Watching Alaina extend her arm though, Cecilia would raise an eyebrow.

She would take a hold of Alaina's hand and give it a tight squeeze. Giving a light shake to the hand before she'd break the handshake off and then take a step back, raising her arms up and bending her knees a little as she would wait for the bell to ring and the match to be on the way.

As soon as the bell rang Alaina waste no time in taking the initiative! She rushed right at Cecilia as quickly as she could to open up by nailing Cecilia with everything she had by way of a big spear! Alaina wanted to crash into Cecilia as hard as she could before taking her down to the mat and keeping it up by pummeling Cecilia with a barrage of punches after the spear! Alaina was going to be aggressive, intense, and driven tonight. She was going to fight Cecilia in such a way that Cecilia wouldn't see it coming!

Cecilia had expected to start things off with a test of strength and with it take the Amazon down a peg, but it looked as if the brunette had other plans. As she soon came rushing right in towards her, right as the bell had rung, Alaina closed right in and drove her shoulder into Cecilia's gut.

Causing her to gasp out and cough as she was taken down onto her back and Alaina started to lay on a barrage of strong punches. Coming in strong, the Amazon decided to take an early lead against the blond, as Cecilia was forced to bring her arms up and try and guard herself, before attempting to shove Alaina away from her if she could.

Alaina landed a few hard shots and was atop Cecilia but her opponent brought her guard up, setting up an effective defense. However, Alaina had another idea to keep things in her favor! She stopped punching, reaching down to grab one of Cecilia's arms with both of hers, pulling back as she swung her legs around and tried to wrap up the arm to pull back. Alaina wanted to trap Cecilia in a painful arm bar early on and keep controlling the pace of the matchup!

Cecilia brought her arms up to protect herself from Alaina's rapid punches, but she quickly found that Alaina had different plans. Taking a hold of the Swede's arm and pulling it into an armbar. The Swede would quickly act though, as she tried to use her might and try and roll Alaina up before she could firmly lock in that armbar.

Trying to fold the Amazon in two as she would try and stand on her feet, trying to lift Alaina up into the air in an awkward heap. The Northern Queen trying to show the Amazon why she was considered one of the strongest around by going for a makeshift slam! Trying to bring Alaina down on her back with a full amount of might after having hauled her up into the air.

Alaina really should have seen that one coming, as Cecilia was using a counter to the armbar that Alaina herself had done before! Alaina hit the mat hard and groaned, trying to roll back and get herself away from Cecilia, attempting to rise to her feet. Alaina could only hope that she was able to surprise Cecilia at the start and do some damage to that arm. Alaina shook her head as she rose up, trying to read Cecilia before moving close.

Alaina wanted to keep up the pressure on Cecilia, trying to step up and land two fast punches to Cecilia's mid-section before winding up an uppercut aimed right at her chin!

Cecilia pulled Alaina up into the air and then slammed the brunette down into the canvas with that makeshift slam. Watching Alaina groan and roll away as she started to get to her feet. Cecilia would shake her arm a little and then glare over at Alaina.

The Amazon had managed to overwhelm her at first with that ferocity of hers, but right now the Northern Queen was ready. She watched Alaina come up towards her and throw that swift punch to her abs, those strong abs taking the brunt of the damage but still caused the Swede to stagger back a step, and then another blow to those abs...

Cecilia grit her teeth and when that uppercut came she'd move her head back to have it just sail by her, the first driving straight though a few strands of hair...as Cecilia moved forward and would throw a strong right hook of her own into Alaina's abs and then try and send a hard left hook straight to Alaina's cheek!
