Cross Promotional Tag Match: Akamatsu' s vs. Irish Amazons

"Nnngh..." Kyo 's head was still ringing as Alaina pulled him back up, that clothesline, that forearm to his head having packed a lot of force. As he tried to fight off the dizziness and keep his eyes open, all he could see was Alaina in front of him, glaring down at him sternly. A small part of him wondered if maybe, just maybe, he should be asking the Amazon's forgiveness at this point.

He didn't get a chance to test that theory out: Alaina picked him up sideways, lifting him almost as easily as a bale of hay, before tilting backwards sharply. Kyo cried out as he was flung backwards, before slamming forcefully into the corner post. The crowd collectively winced at the brutal force of the blow, as Kyo crumpled lifelessly to the mat, toppling to his front in an unmoving heap.

Makie didn't see that happen, but she could tell that Kyo was in trouble. Hauling herself over the barricade, she stumbled and dropped to her hands and knees. Breathing hard, she tried to push herself upright again, knowing that she had to make it to the ring in time...

Peggy was leaning over the rope but standing again... barely. She was hurting all over and not even looking up at this point. She groaned as she heard Alaina doing her thing in the ring with Kyo. Alaina had never let her down, but she felt awful for not being able to say the same thing in regards to her. Peggy was called the weak link of the team before, and the embarrassed woman felt like tonight she had done nothing in the ring to refute those claims.

Alaina had Kyo down and was going to go for a big move to put him away, and it wasn't from her usual arsenal! He was laid out near the corner and Alaina wanted to show everyone a little bit of a flying display from the amazon! She climbed up and perched herself on top, looking down at Kyo! She held her arms out and let out a cheer as she jumped up and tucked her head in, rolling forward as she sailed through the air! The amazon was looking to do a roll and come crashing down on Kyo double knee first from the top rope like a spinning cannonball!

At first, Kyo was not moving as he lay face down in the corner, oblivious to Alaina climbing the top rope, no matter how much his fans screamed for him to move. Slowly, though, with a groan, he began to turn over, pushing himself to the side and flopping onto his back, his eyes slowly blinking at him.

Just in time to see Alaina coming down at him, knees first. "OOOF!" HIS body jacknifed upright as the Amazon's knees cannons into his chest, before he collapsed again, breathing lightly as he lay at the Amazon's knees.

Makie, meanwhile, got to her free and grabbed the lower ropes, just in time to see Kyo get cannonballed by Alaina. Knowing that she had to move fast, Makie began to slowly and agonizingly climb up the ropes
..and then noticed that Peggy was leaning against the ropes right in front of her! For a brief moment, the battered Irish and Japanese girls noticed each other, their eyes locking.

Then, summoning all her energy, Makie surged up the ropes, kicking up and trying to drive a knee into Peggy's face, hoping to stun her long enogh so that she could climb the top rope!

Alaina was oblivious to anything else going on after crushing Kyo's ribcage, and she tried to maneuver herself to put Kyo in a Boston crab submission hold! This had to be it, she could feel it..

Peggy locked eyes with Makie and had a chance to be a hero. She could save Alaina from being back stabbed by Makie. She could save the win for her team! Unfortunately before Peggy could gather herself and move, she took a sharp knee to the face, dropping down to the apron in a heap, rolling absent mindedly into the ring! The only thing that hurt worse than her throbbing face in her hazy dazed state was knowing that she blew it... again. Losing to a singer, an actress and being dead weight on her team all made Peggy feel a sharper pain in her mind than the agonizing pain she felt physically.

Makie almost lost her balance after shooting a kick up at Peggy, grabbing onto the middle rope before she fell out of the ring completely. Grimacing, she hauled herself upright again, just in time to see Alaina turning Kyo over and locking in a boston crab. Kyo was screaming now as the amazon bent him in a way his body was never meant to bend, her sheer power putting tremendous pressure on his already hurting spine.

Breathing hard, Makie clambered up to the top rope, bracing herself as best she could. "SANDERS!" she shouted, aiming to get Alaina's attention as she propelled herself off the ropes...aiming a savage drop kick right at the Amazon's head!

Alaina was off in her own little world, and trying her best to get Kyo to tap. She looked up as Makie was already airborne and before she could react the dropkick hammered her in the side of the head! Alaina let go as her head snapped to the side, the big woman falling limp to the mat in a heap! Right now both Alaina and Peggy were laid out and motionless in the ring, unmoving and lifeless.

Makie felt her boots impact hard into Alaina's skull, taking the Amazon by surprise and flooring her. Unfortunately, she had no way of stopping herself, either-- she rebounded and slammed back-first into the mat, giving a silent scream of pain as she arched up off the mat before flopping back down again. Her chest rose and fell as she lay with her eyes closed. Nearby, Kyo remained lying facedown on the mat, his body covered in a sheen of sweat, not moving either.

The audience couldn't believe it. All four competitors were in the ring, and all four were seemingly unconscious and too hurt to continue! The fans began to clap and stomp in unison, chanting the names of their respective favourites as they tried to rally them. All the while, the ref girl began to start a ten count.

"ONE...TWO..."

"THREE!"

Alaina heard the referee and knew that she had to get moving! The problem is her body just didn't want to. She raised her arms up to her aching head, rubbing it as she kicked the mat in agony.

"FOUR!"

With a groan she rolled over onto her side, struggling to get up to her hands and knees, panting and gasping for air. That was as far as she could get for the moment. She grit her teeth, her arms trembling to support her body even in this state. Peggy was still laid out and reaching up feebly at the ropes, hoping to use them to pull herself up. She tried to pull but her grip failed and she flopped right back to the mat.

"FIVE!"

At this point, Kyo was beginning to stir. Pressing his palms against the mat, he slowly pushed himself sideways, rolling onto his side and trying to get some feeling into his back and his hips again after enduring that hold from Alaina. Makie, in turn, raised an arm weakly and arched her body slightly, trying to get her own body moving again in turn.

"SIX!"

Rolling onto his front again, Kyo dug his hands and knees into the mat, trying to slowly push himself upright. Makie, meanwhile, rolled over to the ropes and clutched the bottom rope, beginning the slow process of trying to pull herself up. As all four wrestlers tried to get to their feet again, the crowd cheered them on, chanting and clapping in unison to try to rouse their champions to their feet.

"SEVEN!"

Alaina was slowly making her way up, pushing off the mat onto her knees and rising, stumbling about as her head was still swimming. She stumbled over to the ropes and leaned up them, but had managed to get herself back upright right as the referee's count continued!

"EIGHT!"

Peggy grabbed the ropes and pulled up, but her grip was weak as she flopped back to the mat listlessly as she appeared to be more out of it than Alaina. Still, her partner was up and Alaina was the woman in the match. Peggy still wished she could make it up but her head was even worse off than Alaina as she was still totally dazed from Makie's running knee.
