I'm not watching. Couldn't get past the first disappointment. HOWEVER...Rhonda isn't that bad in my opinion.

Considering Shayna quit UFC/MMA because of the fans, I'd say it's worse :/

I am not watching Survivor Series, but it's easy to see the fans were excited for Ronda/Becky. Becky has been shitting on Charlotte for months, and on Ronda for 1...AND Ronda has been coming off as a bit of a dumb heel ("insulting" Becky as millennial...even though she is a millennial herself) in the storyline.

Becky being out of the match hurt it significantly.

Fans are a bit shit for not giving it a chance, most likely :/ But, playing devil's advocate, that'd be my main issue if I were to do this.

I've still heard stuff about it. It sounds horrible. I just get too upset with all the crappy stuff and it ruins even the few amounts of good stuff for me.

tl;dr: Money trumps tradition and/or skill, and that sucks.

In my opinion it is a symptom of angsty, terrible booking going on for literally years. It starts with the "booking" of the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar who I both liked very much when they were younger, goes over to the felt holding down of people looked favorable upon from fans(a really, really long list) and ends with the predictability of main events for sometimes over 1! year.

I am a big fan of Charlotte. Her style, her aura, her ring abilities and probably most important of all her ability of being a true Flair compared to many other second or third generation superstars(looking at you, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas), all that appeals to me. That her face run did not work good against Becky was something the WWE could not have foreseen but as usual was too stubborn to give in to the demand of the fans after it turned out.  
So what does WWE do instead of turning it around to make Becky a superstar? Chicken heel, nonsensical I don´t need you fans bullshit, basically please hate me because WWE wants it crap promos. Only after months of shitting on the perception of WWE, things are turned around now.

Despite all the miserable booking of Charlotte, I can understand why hardcore fans shat on Ronda. Although I never boo a face when I am on a house show but simply do not support him or her by staying silent. I find her extremely wooden and quite limited in all aspects, even in areas where she should have loads of experience from UFC as in promos. She is basically the wooden aspect of bad with the Bella twins on the other glamorous end who I find both fake and terrible as performers. The essence is that both parties do not deserve main events, despite being the heads of a Reality show or being probably the best female fighter UFC had.

smarks are always self-justifying themselves whenever they do stupid shit like tonight, and it's always falls flat. "Oh we are just protesting the booking! Oh we are just protesting Creative! We're smark fans, we're the good guys!"

It doesn't matter their justification. The treatment they gave Ronda tonight was simply disrespectful. Shit on bad matches, shit on bad wrestlers. Ronda clearly loves this, she's clearly putting effort in and is good at this, and her and Charlotte had a great match tonight, only for Ronda to get shit on because Charlotte did a heel turn, and smarks are all but legally required to LOVE someone once they turn heel, even though they just despised Charlotte and spent months shitting on her for being someone WWE invested in.

I think the reason WWE fans cheer and love people once they turn heel is because, well...as a heel, they're allowed to show character.

Most of WWE's higher-card faces come off as sort of wooden and boring and in a lot of cases, stupid. They're not really allowed to show character or have an edge. Once they get that heel turn though, they're allowed to actually cut loose and be a badass and get to do cool things.

People want to cheer for wrestlers who are getting to kick ass and be awesome. They don't want to cheer for someone who's not getting to do that, you know?
