I think I had Amy go for a clover leaf once, it got reversed so rip the dream.

Do the Sharpshooter and Texas Cloverleaf count as Boston Crab variations? Those are two of my favorite submission holds. The sharpshooter does get used by notable characters like Alaina Sanders and Clyde Gastin, but I don't think I've ever seen the Cloverleaf get used in a match before. If there's any move that I would like to see more people using, it's that one.
Bunny went for a Texas Cloverleaf against Cecilia in the number one contender's match, obviously unsuccessfully. And the last time I encountered a sharpshooter was Ace against Gwen...>_>
Back on topic, while I always enjoy the classics, I do appreciate when people deviate from the norm and go for the more unconventional submissions or power moves. Like a Stump Puller...Crossface Chickenwing...Pumphandle Slam...or Gorilla Press off the top of my head. And I agree with Alex, Acuya, Tai about relying on the basics to naturally build up the momentum of a match.

I have Amy go for the Beast Bite crossface after I saw Batista do it and thought it was pretty cool. I'm rather guilty of using a lot of strikes, but I don't think I do so to incorporate mma moves. I do try to add variety with the suplexes I use an typically ones I'm doing to try and show that. I'm also a pretty big fan of moves like hurricanrana's, backbreakers, Full Nelson slams, and ddt variations.

Natasha does a variation of the Stump Puller from time to time where she simply uses her weight to staddle on the back of their neck, squashing them down and putting pressure on their abs, neck and shoulders. I should bring that into a match again. Plus it translates into a headscissor when she falls back
