Mini Event

I think it might go a long way if it's decided early what parts of the world cup have what effect. Like, would the winner of the battle royale have more of an effect on the world cup than the regular board wide matches. Or the same effect, or vice versa. That way you attract the right sort of people, given that they would know whether they are getting into an event decided by one or many.

Unless I've misread and the battle royal is a separate event/the whole world cup itself.

The battle royale would be a separate event. It's basically a two-part thing, with the overall competition being something that's ongoing on the board for the better part of the year, and the battle royal running at some point in the next few months.

So, for the record, would the battle royal be treated as the climax of the cup? Or are the two events entirely unrelated?

I was a really big fan of the last Friction World Cup! So, yeah, that's where my vote went. It seemed like a pretty easy idea to execute too. Just keep track of the winner of each match, what country they're from, add it all up at the end, right?

But just to clarify, reading the Tension BR, is it going to be a 10 women/men Royal Rumble (As in, not every one starts at the same time)?

I mean, in a way, it kind of connected. I guess the best way to describe it is that the royal would be FWC-themed - each participant will be from a different country. Japan, USA, France, et cetera. Right now, I'm thinking with ten participants.

In case it was me, sorry, my question was a bit misleading (although thanks for clarifying that too)

My question was is this match a Royal Rumble match basically? But reading the other BR threads I'm pretty sure that the answer is yes. I have a different question though. How are the time intervals between each entrance is dealt with? Is it by page or by the number of posts or is someone appointed as a "timekeeper" essentially?

Since there's no agreed on way to measure how time would move in the match, thanks to the way RPs work, it would pretty much depend on when the person running this match - in this case, myself - says so. In order to cut down on the confusion.

Just to re-emphasize, this will be a fairly controlled affair. I won't tell you what moves to use or when to attack whom, but I would be dictating who comes in when, how long they stay, and when they leave. We'll work out things like spots beforehand, and I'll try to make it so that people can get in their own moments, double team spots, stuff like that.
