AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll

Alaina was wobbly and dizzy when she stood up, still aware of what was going on around her. After the kick and lightning quick execution of the ace crusher, the same could not be said at all! Alaiba collapsed to the mat in a silent motionless heap!

If people didn't know better she could have passed for a dead body. The rising of her chest was the only sign that she was still there, and the only movement whatsoever from the amazon!

The crowd was roaring all around them after Valley landed the dynamic move, but she could scarcely hear them, like they were miles away. Muted, distant, far off.

She sat there for a moment and looked over her shoulder, staring at Alaina. It was almost like this was a horror movie, and the relentless Amazon would rise up at any second and start throttling her again...but that wasn’t happening. She was down, she wasn’t moving, and if there was ever a time to capitalize, it was right here and now.

”Climb! Climb! Climb!”

The crowd’s chant was like a tribal beat, willing Valley back to her feet. She pushed herself up and grabbed the ladder, hastily setting it up once again, taking a little time to get it right at the center - unlike Alaina, her shortness meant she’d need to be get all the way to the top pull it down.

With everything ready, she began her ascent...

Alaina was out of it hearing the crowd cheering. They sure weren't cheering her for laying there. Alaina flailed as she tried to get up, slumping against the mat as she failed. She took a couple deep breaths as she sat up, looking up to see Valley climbing the ladder, making far too much progress!

Alaina hobbled up, awkwardly making her way to the ladder. She grabbed on and groggily gave chase trying to reach up to grab at Valley! She kept climbing reaching up to grab hokd of the other woman by the waist. She had a grip, not a great grip but it was better than nothing.

With everything she had Alaina screamed as she pulled back, trying to hit a makeshift Getman suplex to get Valley off that ladder!

Valley was looking good, on a steady path to a victory and her first AFW Championship - really, her first championship at all, if you didn’t count the time she won the Slamazon Championship right before the company died.

She was feeling good about it, when she noticed that the audience’s chants had changed. They weren’t egging her on anymore - instead, there was a steady ‘Alaina’ cry coming through the ranks. ”Come on, really?”

She looked over her shoulder, expecting to see Alaina on her knees, maybe crawling up the bottom rung of the ladder. Nope. She was up, she was alive, and she wrapped her arms around Valley’s waist.

”Oh God-” Valley shrieked as she went flying backwards, her arms outstretched, almost as if she might magically gain the power to extend them. She didn’t. Instead, she took a nasty dive and crashed hard on the floor, tumbling away like a crumpled piece of paper in the wind. She wound up flopping over to her chest, where she immediately curled up into a fetal ball.

Upon impact Alaina laid on the mat herself. That fall didn't do her any good, but she knew she caused an exponentially worse landing for Valley Doll. Alaina groaned as she rose to her feet, still a bit wobbly. She had to put the hammer down. Pound away on Valley and then bring it home. Both women had been devastated in a short but intense matchup.

Alaina bent down scooping Valley up and holding her, lifting her as high as she could before bringing Valley crashing down back first across her knee! Alaina would not stop there. She kept hold of Valley, lifting her up high and if one backbreaker hurt a second one in a row surely would leave a mark!

For a moment, as Valley laid there staring that the mat, she thought it was over. If this was a regular match, it damn sure would’ve, since Alaina could get a three count on her now with relative ease. But in this match, the Entropy Champion could’ve stayed the Entropy Champion by just making her way up the ladder. There’d be little Valley could do to stop her right now.

Fortunately - or unfortunately - Alaina wasn’t through walloping on Valley just yet, lifting her up with relative ease. Valley was brought high, high enough to see the Entropy Title clearly dangling above her, six or seven feet out of reach...before she was brought back to earth with merciless force, her spine smashed against the point of Alaina’s knee.

The Slamazon let out a wailing cry, a howl that mixed pain and rage and anguish. Before that sound could even run its course through her throat, she was lifted once more and brought down again, same move, same spot, same pain, with an even louder scream to go with it this time.

Valley’s limbs hung limp as she laid in Alaina’s clutches, with barely any movement aside from the steady rise of her chest and the occasional twitch.

Alaina had a limp Valley Doll in her arms wishing she could just pin her. Alaina knew that climb would be long and had to make sure Valley would stay down. She bent down, still holding Valley before exploding back throwing Valley behind her and into the ladder with the best fallaway slam she could muster!

The amazon was not about to be denied keeping her belt. She was going to win this if it was the last thing she did!

Being light was always a double edged sword for Valley. On the one hand, it let her fly through the air with the greatest of ease, but on the other hand, it let other, stronger wrestlers - like a certain blonde Amazon - toss her around like a rag doll. Case in point…

Valley was barely aware of what was going on as Alaina hefted her up once more. She expected another backbreaker, and when it became apparent what was about to really happen, she wished it was another backbreaker.

Valley was flung hard through the air, her body flailing as she flew, and the only thing that got in her way was the ladder itself. She hit it hard and brought it down with her, falling to her back while it collapsed beside her.

She was hurting, so bad, so fierce, and the temptation to just stay down was strong...but when she looked up, she saw the belt, high and shining above her. Ace was going to go through hell to get her hardcore championship later, and there was no way she was giving anything less. She had to keep going.

With a groan, Valley rolled over and flopped on top of the fallen, laying across it. It wasn’t much, but it would make Alaina waste time - she’d either have to get another ladder or push Valley off this one. Every second was precious, now.

Good. Valley was down and Alaina hoped she was out. She grabbed Valley's ankles and yanked her off rhe ladde, dragging her a bit. Alaina reached down to grab the ladder slowly setting it up. Alaina looked up at her title and smiled.

As the ladder was set, Alaina bwgan hwr slow, labored but relentless climb.

”No…” Valley muttered as Alaina pulled her off the ladder and started to set it up, but if just telling the champion to stop was enough to make her do it, well, this match would’ve been a lot easier. As it was, Valley was starting to regain some feeling throughout her body, but it wasn’t enough to do much more than sit up.

Stalling time.

As Alaina began to rise up the steps, Valley rolled over and reached up, clasping onto the champion's ankle with all her might and weighing her down. ”I’m not…” She gripped even tighter. ”We’re not through here, Al.”
