Awkward As Ever

Clyde felt a little... Uneasy as May got her breasts all up in his chest and silently thanked Lilly for getting her away. Now he was going to understandably be in for it.

Lilly pushed him and Clyde shrugged it off, looking down at Lilly as she berated him, causing him to sigh and put his hands out. "Hey hey hey, it's okay." He assured her. "It didn't look like she wasn't goin' take 'No' for an answer." He assured her before putting his hands on Lilly's shoulders.

"I wont hurt her. I'll be nice..." Whispered the cowboy before looking over to May.

"Two things, Ms. May. You can pick whatever rules ya think you'll need and we do this in the gym, deal? If you win, I'll stay away from Lilly Seeya." And with that Clyde gave her a wave and was already on his way back home.

Lilly grit her teeth as Clyde stood there, defending his choice to give May a match. Even if he took it easy on her, she wouldn't beat him, and they both knew it.

"You should have let me convince her to give it up," she said, her eyes dangerously narrowed. This whole situation was giving her another headache. Just as she thought yesterday was hard and awkward enough, today just had to find a way to make things worse. And Clyde being a cocky shithead wasn't helping either.

The cowboy, resting his hands on her shoulders, continued to reassure her that he wouldn't hurt her. She knew he wasn't a cruel wrestler, but that didn't mean she trusted him. One slip up, and she could end up injured. But, knowing May, she wouldn't let this go. So, seeing no other option, Lilly just sighed.

"I swear, if you hurt her, I will remove your balls with my bare hands," she growled, stepping away from him and rubbing her temples. She just wanted to go home and get some real rest. This was not her week.

May turned to Clyde when he addressed her, her arms crossed. The idea of being able to choose the match type sounded good to her, but having to do it in a gym wasn't so fun. She wanted to beat him in front of a crowd. But, if that's all he would agree to, then she'd settle if it meant she could keep him from Lilly, she'd do it.

"Fine, I'll take it. See you then, hick," she said, sticking her tongue out at him as he walked away. "See you then too, Lilly! Don't let hi touch you!"

Lilly rolled her eyes before following Clyde, getting up beside him and elbowing him in the arm. "You'd better know what you're doing."

Clyde blinked at Lilly, realizing that she maaay have been right about that. It all hit Clyde like a bump over the head as he just kinda... Smiled nervously at Lilly.

"I wont hurt her." He tried to assure her one more time while May glared at him before sassing herself away, only to catch a swift elbow from Lilly that made him wince just a little.

"Of course!" He assured her confidently. "I'll just roll her up one-two-three. Whats the worse that could happen?"

Lilly really wanted to believe that May wouldn't get hurt fighting Clyde. Sure, he might go out of his way to try, but she knew May, and she wasn't just going to let it end that easy. She was as stubborn as Lilly was, and there was no way that she'd let Clyde just roll her up for an easy pin, even if he was more than capable of doing it. She was a cheerleader just like her, so she was spry.

"I can think of a lot of things that could go wrong. Just pray that none of them happen, or it won't be May you need to worry about," Lilly said, casting a glare at him as they walked.

Lilly made a mental note to try and find May before their match. With some luck, she could convince her that she was being reckless and was just going to end up being embarrassed.

Clyde just gave Lilly a reassuring pat on her shoulder to hopefully convince the cheerleader that everything would be a-okay, that being said, he didn't NEED Lilly on his tail but he wasn't afraid of her either. He dealt with her before.

"So mean, Lilly... And no faith in me."
