Chris Morgan vs. Valley Doll II - Phenominal

Ugh. The fallaway slam. It just had to be the fallaway slam, of all things. And not just a regular fallaway slam either, but a Chris Morgan fallaway slam. Higher and harder.

It wasn’t quite the end of the world, but Valley would’ve needed a few seconds to get back up. Those were seconds Chris didn’t want to wait, apparently, because she came over and greatly shortened the process.

Valley groaned as she was hauled along the mat and groaned as she was lifted to her feet, easily handled by the larger woman. The next thing she knew, she was being hurled off toward the ropes with a ton of momentum forcing her forward.

She bounced off and came running back across the ring, only to see Chris doing the same. A shrill spark of terror flew through her body at the sight of the Wrestling Angel heading her way - she’d seen the giantess go for this move before, typcially right before the end of a match she won. The Poseidon Bomber. Death by decapitation. Nasty.

As much as Valley hurt, she could dig down deep when the occasion called for it, and it certainly did, now. She waited until the last second, then ducked under the massive clothesline. At the same time, she grabbed Chris’ wrist and pulled it, yanking the offending arm back with her.

In one slick motion, Valley leaped up behind Chris’ back, wrapped her arms around the blonde’s arm and pulled it against her chest, then scissored the other arm tight between her thighs. From there it was a simple matter of yanking back, trying to pull the giantess down with her, going for a Crucifix Pin.

It had been a while sicne Valley pulled this one out of the closet. Hopefully, it was still fresh.

Valley's dodge of her clothesline was so at the last second that Chris actually pitched forward, off balance from her swing. However, her friend helpfully corrected that by taking hold of her arm and using it as a starting to point to get herself entangled with the former Wrestle Angel, pulling her down into a pinning hold!

"What!?" Chris exclaimed as she went over onto the mat, arms held by Valley Doll.

Her legs kicking wildly in the air, Chris heard the ref start the count.

"One!"

Oh, thank God that worked.

There were a few ways this sort of pin could’ve gone wrong, chief among them being Chris - whether on purpose or by accident - falling down flat and crushing Valley underneath. Thankfully, she managed to land it safely, but now came the real challenge: holding down one of the strongest female wrestlers ever born for three whole seconds.

Valley squeezed tight and held on for dear life, as the referee’s hand hit the mat once more.

”2…!”

The crowd waited with baited breath as the ref's hand began to fall for the third and final count. But then, Chris managed to power her shoulder up off the canvas, breaking the count.

Chris, however, wasn't content to simply break the count. Valley still had a grip on her limbs, clinging to her. So when Chris rose to a sitting position, Valley was draped over her back. Getting her legs under her, Chris would rise to her feet, with the Slamzon still clutching onto her arms.

Once standing, Chris would give a powerful flex of her arms as well as a shrugging motion, trying to move Valley onto her shoulders in the fireman's carry position. From there, Chris would try to heave Valley striaght up into the air....then move out from under her, letting the smaller woman land on the mat, face, chest and stomach down.

Okay, Chris kicked out. Not that big of a deal. Chris Morgan kicked out of things all the time.

What she didn’t do all the time was lift people up out of those pins through pure, raw power.

The crowd looked on in awe, some of them clapped, and if Valley hadn't been clinging on for dear life, she might've joined. Time and again, Chris proved herself to be just as dominant a force in the AFW as she'd been in the Wrestle Angels, and this was no exception. The point was driven home even harder when the Phenomenom brought Valley up to her shoulder with a mere shrug. And then…

”Whoawhoawhoa-” Valley suddenly found herself flung upwards with ridiculous ease, going high above Chris’ head and descending at an alarming rate. A nasty fall. No way around it. But she could make it bad for both of them with the right timing.

As she fell, Valley twisted about and whipped her leg out, throwing a soccer kick right into Chris’ face. Wouldn't make the fall suck any less, but it could cover her afterwards, at the least.

Having taken a step back, Chris was content to watch Valley as she came down from high up, looking almost meteoric as the Slamazon descended rapidly towards the mat. In the Wrestle Angel's mind, she was already moving on to plan her next few moves, a series that would end with a finishing lariat and the three count. However, it seemed like her friend had other plans. Like a cat, Val twisted in mid-fall. Unlike a cat though, Valley lashed with her foot, catching the off guard Chris full in the face with her kick!

"Unnagh...!" Chris let out a undignified, loud grunt of surprise and pain as she fell back from the force of the kick, looking dazedly up at the lights as the crowd cheered for the counter attack from out of nowhere!

As predicted, the landing sucked. Valley, for all her agility and speed, couldn’t make it not suck, really.

She came down hard on her side and rattled the ring, landing right on her shoulder. Didn’t break it, not even close, but it did send a sharp blast of pain throughout her arm, leaving it numb. Not that big of a problem, since most of her best moves didn’t even use her arms all that much.

But she wasn’t hurt so much that she couldn’t appreciate the sight before her: there lay Chris Morgan, on her back, stunned.

Knowing a golden opportunity when she was saw one, Valley grabbed the ropes with her good arm and pulled herself, trying to get back up to her feet. She hadn’t even been up for more than a second, hadn’t straightened all the way up, before she took off, leaping over and coming down with a knee drop - only she wasn’t targeting Chris’ body, like the move normally would. She was aiming for the arm.

Still stunned from Valley's imitation of Pele using her head as the soccer ball, Chris was still laid out on the mat when the smaller Californian attacked.

Chris let out a loud, sharp cry of agony as Valley came down with her knees, landing on the Wrestle Angel's outstretched arm. Clutching the arm to her chest Chris would try to roll away, looking to escape under the ropes to the outside of the ring wanting to buy time to recover and take stock of the damage to the limb.....

Once again, bullseye. Valley’s strategy seemed to be working so far, if the way Chris’ clutched her arm was anything to go by. As long as she kept that in her mind, it would pay dividends.

But, on the more immediate scene, she had a little something interesting to deal with. Chris had rolled out of the ring. Valley Doll was a high-flyer. She knew what she had to do, and even though it hurt to push herself back up to her feet so fast, it would be worth it.

The crowd clapped, seeing what she was about to do and getting behind her. All the encouragement she needed.

A deep breath, a second to decide, and she was off.

Valley ran away from Chris to the opposite side of the ring, where she bounced off the ropes and immediately headed back towards her opponent at full tilt. When she was halfway across, Valley leaped forward into a front flip, twisting around in mid move so her back was to the ropes when she landed, and from there it was only a matter of timing and agility.

Valley took all the momentum and used it to backflip clear over the ropes, her body arching in a moonsault and sending her flying out of the ring, heading down to where Chris had rolled out to - either she’d hit and do some good damage or crash and burn, but either way, the completed Sasuke Special was a thing of beauty.

Shaking her arm, Chris gritted her teeth as she tried to soothe the pained limb. And it was her right one, her dominant arm. The one she used to punch, the one she led with to grab, and most importantly, used to lariat someone during one of her finishers. It seemed Chris wasn't the only one with a gameplan in this match. But, come what may, Chris was resolved to win. Valley would fight and struggle, and give a good account of herself, but in the end, Chris would not let herself fall here. There was nothing her friend could do that would stop the former Wrestle Angel.

Then Chris heard the crowd cheer and looked up in time to see Valley hurl herself over the ropes, turning her body into a beautiful, living projectile. She slammed into Chris, bowling the bigger woman and sending her to the harder mats outside the ring with a cry of mingled pain and astonishment!

*Yeah, that'll stop me for awhile....* Chris thought dazedly, lying on her back outside the ring.
