Chris Morgan vs. Valley Doll II - Phenominal

The AFW wasn’t exactly known for its powerhouses. Out of the massive roster, there were only a small handful that could be classified as heavyweights. And on that vaunted list, Chris Morgan was around the top. One of the strongest female wrestlers the promotion had to offer.

And here was Valley Doll, little Valley Doll, locking horns with her. Willingly.

It went almost as badly as anyone would expect.

Valley was pushed back immediately as Chris’ overbearing power began to surge over her. She might as well have tried to tangle with a wall for all the progress it was getting her. Heck, a wall wouldn’t have bent her wrists out of shape like this. ”Phew!” Valley chucked as best she could through the exertion. ”Little bit stronger than I remember.”

But, as bad as it looked, Valley Doll did have a plan. Maybe a good plan, maybe a bad one. Only one way to find out.

As Chris pushed back, Valley suddenly changed tactics and started pulling, falling on her back and dragging the giantess along with her. She brought her legs in as they fell, pressed them against Chris’ chest, and pushed upwards in the same motion, trying to send her up and over with a makeshift monkey flip.

Wouldn’t necessarily break the hold on her hands, but it had a chance of throwing the Phenomenon off if it worked. As good a start as any.

"Thanks for notici-wha!?" Chris began to reply to Valley, but then the quicker blonde fell backwards onto the mat, her feet bracing against the former Wrestle Angel's chest to try to propel her up and over with a monkey flip.

However, Chris had the instincts that years of experience in the ring provided. She just knew what move Val was thinking of the moment she fell back, and took steps to counter it. She widened her stance while swueezing down on her friend's hands, stopping the Slamazon dead in her tracks with her back to the mat and her feet still braced on Chris's chest.

Then the Californian colossus began to lift.

Valley began to rise off the canvas as the crowd gave a collective gasp of wonder. Soon Chris was back in a standing position, with Val lifted high into the air. The larger woman turned towards the turnbuckles, her intent to hurl her burden back first into them clear once she took her first step....

The idea was sound, in theory. Valley was being overpowered, so she’d used her opponent’s strength against her, flip her over, take her off guard and work the match from a position of advantage. On just about anyone else, it probably would’ve worked.

There was only one, slight problem: her opponent was not ‘anyone else’. She was facing Chris Morgan. The Chris Morgan.

Because of that, Valley was surprised when the giantess reversed the move, but not too surprised. Not so surprised that she couldn’t think of a way to deal with it and possibly swing things back to her favor. With a little luck.

As Chris swung her back up with all the ease of a real doll, Valley shot her legs out and wrapped them around her neck. She secured her ankle behind the back of her knee and tried to put the Phenomenon into a figure-four headlock, going for a forward-facing version of her typical Trapped in the Valley submission move.

Chris's eyes went wide as suddenly Valley swung her legs up, snaring her head between the Slamazon's thighs.

"What the he-gmf!?" she exclaimed, before Val's hold cut the comment short with a muffled cry from Chris.

Caught off guard, Chris dropped to her knees, unwittingly giving Valley more leverage to use in the hold. She kept hold of Valley's hands, not wanting to give her more reign then she had already, but her friend's strong legs were already squeezing away at her head!

Valley started to try and wrench her hands free of Chris’ iron grip, but she quickly thought better of it. Aside from the fact that she probably would’ve had an easier time prying her fingers from the jaws of life, holding onto her like this was just making the giantess waste more and more precious energy. Energy that wouldn’t be spent hammering Valley into the ground. Definitely a positive turn of events.

”Little too tight?” Valley tightened up on the hold, pumping power into her leg muscles, tensing up. ”Let me see if I can fix that…”

Valley started to thrash from side to side, making the choking all that worse as she wrenched the Phenomenon’s mighty neck.

She wasn’t likely to win like this - even if Chris could tap out at the moment, she wouldn’t do it so easily. This was about taking her down, piece by piece, bit by bit, chop by chop.

This was bad. Chris had been outplayed not once but twice in quick succession, and now Val had her in a really bad way. She would have given another yell at the pain of having her neck wrenched about, but she needed her air....what remained of it.

She was going to need it to eacape this hold. If she didn't Valley could eventually choke her out from here!

Getting her legs back under her, Chris powered her way back to a standing position. Pulling her arms towards herself, the former Wrestle Angel forced Valley to sit up on the larger woman's shoulders before releasing her hands.

Chris would place those hands on Valley's hips to hold her there. Then, the blonde would drop forward, looking to drive her Slamazonian burden back down to the mat  with a powerbomb that would make the crowd give an 'Oohhh!' of sympathy for Valley Doll.....

”For the record,” Valley gave the hold another twist, continually snapping Chris’s head from side to side, piling more damage on the neck. ”I’d like to note I put this move on without making a joke about getting between my legs.” She flicked her tongue out at Chris. ”That’s worth something.”

Valley wasn’t so lost in her merriment that she couldn’t realize Chrs was raising up, going for a likely powerbomb. The way she figured, it was just a last gasp from her formidable foe. She couldn't have the power to pull the damn thing off.

Well, she did. Valley learned this somewhere between the peak of Chris’ shoulders and the floor, as she was brought down with thunderous force.

You might not think that such a small woman could make such a big impact, but when Valley hit the canvas, it made thunder roll across the ring. Her hold was immediately broken, and her body splayed out on all sides, leaving her a withered, writhing wreck on the floor.

After desperately driving Valley down onto the mat, Chris immediately rolled off of her. She flopped over onto her back, her buxom chest heaving to get much needed air back in her lungs.

That had been close. Val's legs were just as dangerous.....no, scratch that. They even more dangerous than in their first match. The spar they had recently had only hinted at the fact, but now....it was like a flashing sign for Chris. And she needed to try and do something about them.

Eventually, the Wrestle Angel made her way back up to her feet, rubbing at her sore neck to try and soothe it. If her fellow Californian was still laid out by the powerbomb, Chris would seize her by one of her feet and use it to level Val around so that she was on her stomach.

"It's alright..." she said softly as she worked, giving a slight chuckle. "I might have have replied with 'Been there, done that, had crazy fun.'" her statement revealing she had heard Val's quip.

Then, in sharp contrast to the banter, Chris would raise Val's leg way up and then slam it down to the mat, hard! It was a calculated move, the start of an adjustment to her strategy to switch from targeting Valley's back which had won Chris the first match, to those oh so lethal legs....

Oh. Wow. Valley had almost forgotten Chris Morgan could slam a body down, and this was a very stark reminder.

A Chris Morgan powerbomb wasn’t like any other powerbomb Valley had taken before. Chris put more energy into it, had more weight and power than most woman could muster, left you laying longer afterwards and knocked the wind straight out of you. One such blow wouldn’t be enough to get the three count on Valley, but if this continued, after two or three or four…

There was little time to ponder the possibilities. Valley suddenly found herself lifted upwards, held just as easily as her namesake, and dropped down on a part of her body that she could least afford: right on her leg.

She hit hard, pain spreading through her leg quick, and immediately went into retreat mode. Valley rolled towards the ropes, looking to grab the lowest one and get a short reprieve before Chris could follow up with something decidedly worse.

If Valley was someone else, someone less experienced, less skilled, and quite frankly, less of a threat, Chris might have let her scramble for the ropes uncontested. But this was Valley Doll, and Chris couldn't afford to let a chance to take the advantage over her slip away. She couldn't let Val get away and recover, or give her a chance to catch her breath physically and mentally. Not without trying to stop her.

"Oh no you don't, Val!" she would call out.

She lunged after her retreating her friend, looking to catch Valley by the ankle of the same leg she had just attacked looking to seize it in a two handed grip. If Chris did catch her, it would be when the Slamzon was just shy of grabbing the ropes. The bigger Californian would then drag Valley away from the ropes back towards the middle of the ring. If successful, she would follow up with a crushing elbow drop on the leg, centered on the inside of Valley's thigh....
