Tiffany Laurence vs. River Styx - True Grit

Okay. Styx was in a bad spot. She could admit that. Tiffany was getting the better of her. Not the first time such a thing had happened in her career. No shame, there.

What Styx could not abide by, however, was getting powerbomb. That was unacceptable. Styx powerbombed other people. Other people did not powerbomb. She flatly refused to allow this. To Tiffany’s credit, she did manage to lift River Styx up and get her up on her shoulders. This was no small feat - Styx was easily one of the heaviest women on in the AFW’s massive roster, men included, coming in over a whopping 200 pounds the last time she’d bothered to check.

But that was going to be as far as she got.

At the apex of the lift, Styx reached down, grabbed Tiffany’s hair, leaned forward and bit her square on the forehead, making sure her teeth dug in deep.

Tiffany strained, and looking almost like an ant lifting something much more than it's body size managed to actually get Styx up onto her shoulders. There was no way on God's green earth she'd be able to do either of her powerbomb finishers to River, she realized, but hopefully this would take the fight out of her.

But the cowgirl never found out, for River did something that, in all of her time in the ring, and in the fights of her youth, had never been done to her. The brawler leaned down and actually bit her!

Screaming out in surprise and pain, Tiffany toppled and fell backwards with her struggling, biting load.

"Jesus! What the fuck!?" she yelled...

It was a crazy, inelegant, clumsy move that showed a complete lack of concern for her opponent’s wellbeing and even a total disregard for her own safety.

In other words, it was vintage River Styx.

Down they went with Styx on top, crashing into a heap on the mat. She shuffled back and mounted Tiffany’s chest, drawing back her fists and getting ready for the fun. She did have one thing to add, though.

’You taste like shit, by the way.”

With that said, Styx proceeded to furiously rain down blows towards Tiffany’s face, getting in as many furious, bare-knuckle punches as she could on the fiesty Texan.

As River settled on Tiffany's chest, the cowgirl knew she would be in for some rough times, so she covered up, using her arms to protect her face. The brawler didn't disappoint, delivering heavy handed blows that forced her arms back against the Texan's face and head. Before long, the punches were breaking through her guard, Tiffany's face rocking back from a pair of hard, furious punches that made her grunt and scream out in pain!

Knowing she had to try to end the punishment before River simply punched her into oblivion, Tiffany would reach up, seizing River's bald head with both hands and shoving towards the right. She also tried to roll her body in that direction, looking to reverse their positions....

”Want to start shit with me?”

BAM!

”Thinks it’s that easy?”

BAM!

”I’m fucking River Styx, bitch! Who the fuck are you?!”

BAM! BAM! BAM!

River Styx was having the time of her life.

True, Tiffany was hardly the first bitch she’d pummeled into oblivion, but there was something undeniably comforting about it in this particular instance. Aside from the lovely noises the Texan made it, was just so good to get back to basics. None of this complicated wrestling shit, with suplexes and holds and throws and whatever. Nothing came close to the sheer joy of bashing a face in.

That joy was cut short, however, when Tiffany had a burst of life, flipping things over and putting Styx on her back. The bitter brawler was taken off guard, stunned for a precious moment while she tried to realign her world.

As the Texan managed to roll River beneath her, the damage of the hardcore wrestler's salvo of punches could be seen, a cut just under her right eye, as well as markings that would become bruising in time. Still, wrath blazed in her eyes as she clenched her fist.

"Stinky...low-life....cunt! Tiffany yelled, punctuating each word with a heavy handed punch from her right hand. "That's what you are!"


Grasping a hold River's wrists to try and pull her hands wide and expose the other woman's face, Tiffany would try to slam her own head down against River's in a hopefully unexpected headbutt, their foreheads crashing together!

"Take that and fuck off...." she'd say after the impact, giving her head a brief shake...

So. This could be going better for River Styx.

Blow after blow after blow slammed against the brawler’s face as Tiffany’s punches mercilessly rained down, hammering her in quick succession, crashing her head against the mat. Styx wasn’t defenseless, she tried to rouse up several times, but each effort was battered down by the wily fighter, as she poured her hate into every hammering fist.

Kind of hot. Styx would’ve been enjoying this immensely if she were watching this in the audience, but since she was on her back and on the receiving end, it was starting to immensely piss her right the fuck off.

The headbutt capped it all off, leaving Styx lying on the mat as she rolled her head from side to side. Not out of it all the way, not exactly. Just need a second...

After headbutting River, the cowgirl glanced down her foe. It took only a moment for her to decide what to do with the brawler. As far as Tiff was concerned, someone like her didn't belong in the ring. The bitch had just bit her! Who does that!?

Reaching down, Tiffany would haul River up to her feet. She would face the bigger woman towards the side of the ring where the announcers' tables were before taking a running start with her dazed opponent, a hand on the back of her head. Once she got to the side of the ring, Tiffany would try to send River over the top rope, looking to send her crashing down to the mats outside the ring, in front of the announcers' tables!

Getting River Styx, hulking brute that she was, up on her feet, couldn’t have been an easy task. No hair to grab onto, just a lot of sweaty body. Couldn’t have made for a good grip, that was for sure. Kudos on the cowgirl.

She didn’t keep Styx on her feet very long, though. Before the brawler had a chance to get her bearings, she was on the move again, going for what promised to be a nasty little spill.

”Goddamn-” Through the ropes she went. ”Fuck-” On the apron, now. ”-shit!” And now she was spilling out to the floor. Styx tumbled all the way over to the announcer's table. Groggy and increasingly pissed off, she made her way around it as the commentators wisely got the fuck out of dodge, figuring that whatever came next would very likely put them in the range of fire.

Tiffany watched with satisfaction as River was sent sprawling out of the ring. She had been in many matches, but rarely against an opponent that pissed her off as much as River did. As such, the cowgirl wasn't content to simply hang back and let the ref count Styx out, even if it was the smart thing to do.

The blonde rolled out of the ring, heading after the staggering River. Stalking up to then around the announce table, she balled up her right fist while she used her left hand to turn River around to face her, preparing to punch the brawler with a right cross at the side of her face....
