AV 14 Main Event: Angel (C) Vs. Taylor Parker for the World Friction Title!

Angel closed her eyes, as she began to pull back on Taylor, listening to the sound of her shrieks and her screams. It was an awful sound. She couldn't remember the last time she had heard something like that from an opponent. Not since...well, Nikolette.

She didn't let it deter her actions though. No mercy. No quarter. She was seeing this through to the end and if Taylor didn't submit, then that was her mistake.

"Give...up!" she hissed, opening her eyes to look down at Taylor, as she pulled back, her arms straining as she yanked and jerked backwards on the blonde. "Submit, chica! Don't make this any worse for you then it has to be! Just give in!!"

She closed her eyes again, staying focused on her hold. There was no way Taylor could take too much more of this, right?

Taylor's screams became hoarse and ragged until they caught in her throat. Her mouth opened wide just to get air into her lungs through Angel's hands.

She couldn't take this kind of pain. Her face was already broken. Who knew how badly damaged her back was. She was scared. What if she didn't bounce back from this?

And Junko was probably worse off than she was with having to watch this beating. Well, no. Not even close.

And yet, stubbornly, while clawing desperately at Angel's hands and struggling to get her hips up and her knees under her, Taylor refused to submit.

Angel grit her teeth, continuing to pull and yank back on Taylor. She could feel beads of sweat rolling down her face as she tried to force the submission out of the blonde, her body shaking as she put as much strength as she could muster into working Taylor over.

The submission never came, though. No matter how hard Angel pulled back, Taylor's stubbornness was proving to be stronger then Angel's hold, and as the seconds began to pass, the growing frustration on Angel's face was apparent to everyone that was watching.

She held on for a few more long moments, then finally, finally the Latina relented, breaking her hold and letting Taylor's head drop back to the floor. With a scowl on her face, she started to rise again, shaking her head.

"I warned you, chica. Don't blame me for what happens next," she muttered under her breath, leaning down to snag Taylor by the pigtails yet again. It was obvious that she needed to go bigger, something harder hitting, to really bring the pain to the stubborn blonde. She glanced around for a moment, her eyes finally settling on the announcer's table, and with a grim look on her face, began to pull Taylor up to her feet once more.

"Unh... hnn..."

Taylor lay flat on the floor, her back heaving as she drew deep breaths. She spluttered and spat out a spray of blood and shook her head. She couldn't move. She wasn't sure if she'd be able to when she needed to.

Angel helped remove her doubts when she grabbed onto her sweaty blonde and blood-streaked pigtails. Mechanically, as if she had no choice, her body responded. She put her foot flat on the floor, and despite the sharp protests from her spine, she stood up.

Again she was stumbling along after Angel, led around by the hair like a dog, bent over at the waist. She could see where Angel was taking her, and it could only be bad news.

As they approached the table, Taylor grit her teeth and forced herself to straighten up. Her hands shot up to grab onto Angel's hair, and she forcefully flung the girl headfirst into the table, knocking over microphones and scattering papers.

Angel was not expecting that, not in the least. Quite the contrary, she had been planning to smash Taylor's face into the table instead!

She was slammed facefirst against the top of the table, letting out a cry that was somewhere between surprise and indignation, before bouncing back off of it. She started to stumble back a few steps, her eyes wide in shock, the Latina more stunned by Taylor's sudden surge of energy and her sudden attempt at turning the tables then anything else.

She quickly shook it off though, growling as she forced herself to snap out of the light daze and rush straight back towards Taylor. She had to keep up the pressure. It didn't matter that Taylor had caught her by surprise that time. There was no way she could keep fighting back in the state that she was in!

She rushed towards the blonde, and threw up her arm, preparing herself to try and clothesline Taylor onto the table as she lunged in towards her.

Taylor didn't chase after Angel when the girl stumbled back. She slouched against the table with one hand for support while she drew heavy breaths, her deep blue eyes gleaming at Angel through a mask of blood. She didn't look intimidating. She looked like a train wreck.

As Angel came charging back to finish what she started, a clothesline that might have put Taylor in the hospital, Taylor ducked, like she had a billion times before in the gym. She dropped down under Angel's arm and stepped past her, and as they both turned to face each other Taylor grabbed the back of Angel's head with both hands. She jumped and put one knee against the champ's face and fell onto her back, using the sudden stop to smash Angel's face into her war-beaten kneepad.

The landing was explosive. Taylor had never heard the crowd cheer so loudly. Her back paid the price, though. "Gaaah!" She cried, and arched her back and rolled onto her side, slapping the floor in pain.

As Taylor ducked under her clothesline, slipping behind her, Angel felt her heart drop. Somehow, Taylor had drawn up an inner store of energy, and was starting to turn things around.

Stupid! Should have kept her in the damn crossface! she thought to herself, turning back to face Taylor again. She spun around, just in time to feel the blonde's hands upon her head, jerking her down and slamming her knee straight up into her face.

The Latina popped up for a moment after the impact, then dropped back, falling to the floor. She would have landed on her back, but with the table behind her, she only managed to slump against it, one hand coming up to hold her face, a weak groan escaping through her lips. She felt something wet sliding down her face, against her lips. Blood. Was it Taylor's? Her hands were covered in Taylor's blood, after all. But no, that wasn't it. Her nose was tingling, and she realized that the blonde's knee had busted her nose, causing a light trickle of blood to begin oozing forth from one of her nostrils. Not nearly as bad as Taylor's was, but it didn't matter. Bleeding was never good in a match like this.

She groaned again, her head feeling like it was going to split open. She had to keep moving though. Taylor had taken just as much damage as she did from that, and Angel had to capitalize on it.

With a groggy look still on her face, she reached up, grabbing the edge of the table, and slowly began to pull herself up to her feet, her breath hard as she started to pull herself back up into a standing position.

"Rrrrrrrr..."

Taylor growled like a big angry cat. She had had quite enough or flopping around on the floor and crying about the damage to her face. Fuck it.

As quickly as she could, she drew herself back upright, just as Angel did the same. She quickly stepped in and pressed herself against the Latina, and wrapped her arms tightly around the girl's waist. They were roughly the same size, but Angel's body felt so different against hers, so foreign and feminine and soft.

She bent her knees and got low, dug her hips in under Angel's center of gravity, and pulled upward.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" She screamed, a bloody battle cry, before hefting Angel up, bending back and twisting to the side and suplexing her overhead to plant her heavily on the cement floor.

Angel pulled herself up, just in time for Taylor to kick it back into high gear, and come shooting in towards her. She barely had a moment to react, as she felt Taylor pressing up against her, pinning her against the table as she her arms slipped around her waist.

Then, off her feet the Latina flew, getting hauled through the air and slammed back down by Taylor's explosive, surprising suplex.

"AAAAGH!"

She hit the floor, her back slamming against the hard, cold floor. Her eyes grew wide as she hit the concrete, her body jerking heavily as it made contact with the cement. All of a sudden, every bit of pain that she had been trying to ignore, had been trying to set aside while she focused on Taylor, it all came rushing back. She lied there, stunned by the impact of the suplex, looking upwards at the bright lights with a big, shocked look on her face.

Taylor got up to her knees and clenched both fists. "YEAH!" She screamed, and the crowd responded with more noise. As she got up and started walking to Angel, she caught sight of Junko, waiting in the wings and watching the match unfold.

"Is it really bad?" She asked, her eyebrows knitting together with concern. She was referring, of course, to her face, which looked really bad. She was a living Picasso. She looked like Aliens found a Mr Potato Head and weren't sure how all the pieces fit together. Her nose, broken in the middle, was at an alarming angle on her face.

But at least the bleeding had almost stopped.

She shoved Angel over onto her stomach, rolling her closer to the metal barricade, and then put her hands on top of it. She kicked up almost into a handstand, floating in the air above the bikini-and-chaps clad champ, and then dropped back down on her knees, driving them hard into Angel's back.
