AV 14 Main Event: Angel (C) Vs. Taylor Parker for the World Friction Title!

"Ja-what!?" Kelly exclaimed in confusion as she heard Lukretia speak. Normally Kelly would play extra ignorant and say something rather classy to the German. But this was the Friction GM and her only friend at the moment, so for now, she'd be a good girl and be extra polite.

However. At hearing Lukretia's suggestion.

"BUT I DONT WANNA WAIT A YEAR! I WANT TO BE CHAMPION NOW!!!" And Kelly turned to look at Taylor who strove to look as strong and composed as she could muster herself, but Kelly knew, this bitch was breaking this might be her one chance to actually fight Taylor at her weakest. Kelly wasn't even certain that Akashi did this much damage to Taylor, no one had, not even Kelly. The chances of an easy title win today, would probably never be repeated. It pissed her off.

"I don't have soon! I gotta win now!!" Kelly screamed within her childish tantrum, jumping up and down, slamming her boots into the arena floor with each stomp as she warched Lukretia say goodbye to Avery before hugging Taylor.

"OH! SO NOW YOU'RE TAKING HER SIDE, HUH!? I LIIVE WITH YOU!! A-Are you listening!?" Kelly whined, frustrated by Lukretia and infuriated by Avery.

"P-PARKERRRR!!!" Kelly screamed to point at her foe. "You've gotten lucky, but mark my words. I. Am. Not. Done. You better hug that title nice while you still have a working shoulder to use! The next time you see me, I'll be making you tap out and taking the title!!" Kelly cried, dragging her thumb across her neck before turning to Avery.

"And you... You just signed your death warrant, punk. Lukretia can't protect you forever... Auf viedersehen." And with that, Kelly leaped over the guardrail and made her way through the stands, walking backwards to keep her eyes on Taylor and Avery before turning around and angrily marching herself away.

It would take Avery a few breathless moments, but the reality of the scene that just unfolded before her eyes would eventually begin to sink in.

Kelly Conway had hurled her threats, but inevitably slithered away in defeat!
Taylor Parker was, and would stay, the Friction World Title Champion!
And, best of all, Avery Shields would live to fight another day!

It may have been a miracle--or perhaps several miracles--but the fiery redhead had actually done it. A burst of exhilaration washed over the teenager and, before she knew it, she was bouncing excitedly towards the ring with an exuberant grin proudly plastered across her freckled visage, "Did you see that!? I can't believe that worked! You're the fucking champ, Taylor! No one is taking that away from you tonight!"

Ave practically radiated with admiration. Yet, the sight of Junko struggling outside of the ring was enough to halt the youth in her tracks. Avery glanced up at Taylor thoughtfully--she looked like hell, but there she stood, like some unbreakable force of nature. Her mother, on the other hand, looked as if she were fumbling in genuine despair. Avery scanned the ground briefly and, thankfully, found what she was looking. The young redhead hastily came to crouch in front of Junko and handed the woman her glasses, "Here, relax, I found them. Are you alright?" She placed a hand gently on the woman's shoulder and offered a light squeeze.

Junko had paused her efforts in looking for her glasses when the lights went out. Even with fuzzy vision she had a pretty good idea of what happened.

By the time Avery gave her her glasses, Junko was already crying with relief again. She smiled and let the red head help her up.

"Thank you, dear." She said with a smile. "I'm good. I'm very good."

Taylor climbed out of the ring with a groan and walked over to her fallen mother-in-law. "You okay, mom?" She asked, one hand on her aching back.

She looked at Avery. "Hey, um... Thanks, I guess, but... you didn't need to, uh..." She shrugged. "Talk to me later, okay? I'm a little, um... Whatever right now."

She cut in on Avery and put an arm around Junko to steady her, as if she was the one that needed it. "Mom, can you stop crying now?" She asked, as the two of them began to climb the ramp to leave the arena.
