SS 14 Best 2/3 Falls: Taylor Parker Vs. Adrian Kytes

"Let's hear it, Adrian!" Taylor screamed, her voice like sandpaper.

Adrian began to slowly make some progress, forcing Taylor to take some small steps back and adjust to keep the hold tight. She swiftly put a stop to it by planting one boot on the back of Adrian's head, pinning it to the mat.

"You're just makin' the next one easier for me!"

Adrian was on the verge of tears by the time Taylor started stepping straight on her to prevent the former cosplayer from escaping, but through the pain was still the dogged determination within the former cosplayer, grabbing the blonde by the ankle on her head and pulling it forward in an attempt to trip her up. Pulling Taylor down by the legs, the brunette tried to turn the tables on her rival by wrapping Taylor's legs around one of her own, crossing them at the ankles and lifting them up, locking her in a Sharpshooter to try and repay her for the damage her Boston Crab did.

Adrian's back was still killing her so she couldn't apply it as well as she would have liked, forced to keep standing and pulling instead of sitting back, but hopefully this would be enough to give Taylor some pause for thought.

Taylor put nearly all of her weight on Adrian's head, and she lost all of her balance when Adrian dislodged her foot. She tried to catch herself, but face planted on the mat. Her head bounced back, and she put a hand over her nose to deal with the pain. The next thing she knew, her legs were tied up, and it was Adrian's turn to work over her back.

"Rrrgh... Aagh!" She groaned in pain. She did her best to twist her body to the side before Adrian could really sit down on the hold, and reached for Adrian's foot to set up a reversal of her own, but she couldn't reach in time and ended up in a position even more painful than if she were laying flat. Her fingertips brushed Adrian's heel, so close to being able to dump her on her face and get back to work.

Still... She had to admit she was a impressed with the reversal. Adrian was serious business.

Adrian struggled to hold on to Taylor, but hold on she did. Gritting her teeth with the effort as she kept Taylor on her side, twisting herself so she was more side-on with the blonde, pressing her left knee down into Taylor's waist while she pulled up the punkette's legs with her right arm higher over her leg. "I..." She grunted "Watched... so many tapes as a kid." She gasped, trying to trash talk somewhat while she put the hurt on "It helps... figuring out stuff." she explained. That counter was a variation of one she watched about 50 times watching old matches, sometimes being a nerd paid off.

"Gaaaaah!"

Taylor's fingertips slipped off of Adrian's boot as the brunette adjusted, and applied terrible pressure to her spine. Her lean, supple body contorted in a gruesome way, but she fought to inch her way forward, crawling on her elbows like a soldier through mud.

She had, for a long time, watched every Friction match that aired on TV. She religiously DVR'd and watched and rewatched matches. She knew what that was like, though maybe Adrian had been more of a historian, a student of the game, than Taylor had been. But that wasn't the only thing Taylor had going for her.

"Maybe less TV..." She grunted, and pulled her elbows under her while she strained to push her hips up and create some space in the painful hold. "And more gym!" She kicked as hard as she could, and shoved against the mat, using the strength of her whole body to try to throw Adrian off of her.

Adrian held on as long as she could to her submission hold, but the awkward positioning combined with Taylor's effort and strength meant it was not to be, the former cosplayer was thrown towards the center of the ring, landing face down as she scrambled to get her legs facing away from Taylor not wanting to see if the blonde was going to reply with yet another hold to torture her spine. Her movements were a lot slower as she tried to get back to her feet, pressing up onto her knees gently before she stood up, still trying to rub away the pain in her back. She could still move somewhat. So that was something she had.

A wave of relief washed over Taylor once she was free from the spine-crushing hold. She forced herself to get up. Though she needed a minute to stretch, she didn't allow herself any time. With one hand favoring her lower back, she raised her other high in the air before throwing herself into a sprint at the ropes next to Adrian.

She jumped, planted both feet on the middle rope, and then sprung off, swooping at Adrian like a hawk about to make a kill. She coiled her legs, her knees coming to her chest, and then kicked both boots out into the middle of Adrian's back in a powerful dropkick.

Adrian barely caught a glimpse of Taylor as she burst past her, only figuring out what happened when she found Taylor's boots blasting her in the back. Sending the former cosplayer face first back into the mat, nursing her once more agonizing back pain as she tried to get back up once again.

The feeling of flying through the air and unloading both boots into someone was unlike anything else. Taylor could cover impressive distance with her dropkicks, she could deliver a shocking amount of power with them, and she was surgically accurate. She hit Adrian's spine exactly where she wanted.

"I watched a lot of tape too, Adrian," Taylor said, breathing heavily as she marched up to her opponent. "I know that move from before, but not from you."

She pushed Adrian's head down and turned her around so that she faced her. "You've seen this, too. But not from me."

She yanked Adrian upright and suddenly pulled her in close, pressing their bodies together as Taylor wrapped her arms around Adrian's midsection. She dug the knuckle of her thumb into the same spot on Adrian's spine, locked her hands, and squeezed as hard as she possibly could. As she crushed Adrian's ribcage, she leaned back to lift her slightly off the mat.

She had nothing else to say. Her jaw was clenched, and she took heavy, hot breaths through her teeth while her muscles strained to squeeze the life out of the savvy brunette, in a way that would've made her own mentor proud.

"aaAAAAAAAHh!" Adrian shrieked as Taylor pulled her into a bearhug, not exactly a move she expected coming from the normally high-flying wrestler. That wasn't to say it wasn't effective, the blonde was beyond strong enough to put the hurt on the former cosplayer, especially with her back already put through the wringer this match. "You..." she choked out "Your g-girlfriend does it better." She coughed out, giving a small smug smile as she suffered, putting a brave face on things.
