Showdown VI: Silver Ace vs Makie Akamatsu

Okay, Makie thought to herself, maybe she had taken things a bit too far with that last move.

Not with regard to Silver Ace, that was: she knew Ace was a tough cookie, and could easily take anything Makie dished out at her, no matter how rough. Rather, she felt pretty bad at that moment about the poor audience members whom Ace had just crashed into. AFW has a whole "we take no responsibility" thing for that, right? she wondered with a grimace.

This was what was going through Makie's head as she crashed into Ace yet again at high speed.

Collapsing onto the chairs next to Ace, Makie took a few deep breaths as she stared up at the arena lights. Around them, the fans were going wild at the fact that both of the competitors were now in their midst. Ignoring the cries of encouragement, discouragement, or pleas for an autograph, Makie pulled herself to her feet, more than a little sore after that impact as well. Grabbing a hold of Ace's arm (not her hair, never her hair, Makie respected Ace too much for that, plus her silver hair was...well, iconic), began to hoist her opponent to her feet.

And unless Ace stopped her, Makie would try to whip her around so that she collided, back-first, with the barrier again!

"Hey, HANDS OFF!" Makie snapped, seeing one of the fans trying to sneak a grope on the prone Silver Ace. "I fucking see you, little twerp! Hands off or I'll break them off!" The young man, who was currently part of the sprawl of bodies carpeting Ace, yelped as he was caught in the act and instinctively brought his hands up. Makie continued to glare at him, silently fuming, even as she hauled Ace up by the arm. Ace may have been her opponent, and Makie might have been trying to clobber the hell out of her at that moment, but all the same, she was a fellow performer, and Makie wasn't going to stand to see her being sexually assaulted at a show.

Right...now that that was out of the way...

With a yell, Makie whipped Ace towards the ropes, and was satisfied to see the other girl collide with it back-first, arching painfully from the impact but staying upright. Without wasting any time, Makie burst into a run, letting out a wordless yell as she raised a forearm, hoping to send Ace sprawling over the railing with a clothesline!

Ace was a sitting, silver-haired duck now, barely holding herself up against the guard rail and barely able to move. She was an easy target for whatever was going to come next...though right now Makie's only idea for whatever came next was "run at her at hit her really hard." And, to be fair, as a default choice, that always worked really well.

With a wordless yell, Makie burst into a run, arm raised to collide with Ace's skull and send her pitching over the guard rail. Except, that wasn't what happened: the wily Canadian suddenly ducked at the last second, too fast for Makie to follow. Gasping, Makie felt herself being lifted up, before gravity kicked in and she descended, chest first, onto the guard rail.

One of the downsides of having nice tits, she had discovered quite early in her career, was that they hurt all the more when your opponent targeted them.

"GAAAAAUUUGH!" Makie gasped as she jacknifed off of the guard rail and went sprawling onto her back. One arm was cradling her hurting chest as she gasped hungrily for breath, one leg kicking weakly at the floor as she tried in vain to move. While she had been decidedly in control of the match before, now she was lying at Ace's feet, at the mercy of whatever she planned next.

"Gaugh...nnagh..." Makie was breathing hard now as she lay on her back, one arm draped over her hurting chest as she lay at Ace's feet. The fact that Ace had so effectively countered her attack was bad enough in and of itself: the fact that she had done so while using the guardrail as a weapon just made it worse. At that moment, she was far too out of breath to move, and all she could do at that moment was focus on regulating her breathing.

Ace, however, wasn't going to give her the courtesy of a short nap: the other girl grabbed a hold of both her arm and the edge of her leotard, yanking her unsteadily to her feet. "What--" Makie mumbled, being pulled up unsteadily to her feet. For a few seconds, Ace seemed to simply hold her upright, leaving Makie confused as to what exactly was going on.

Then Ace swiped her leg out from under her, and Makie knew exactly what she was planning. "No, NO--" she cried, before the two of them crashed back-first into the guardrail. Makie's body jacknifed off of the hard metal rail, arching up in pain before she tumbled sideways, clutching the small of her back, eyes clenched shut as agony shot up her spine.

The crowd was going wild now as the impact of the two ladies collapsed the barricade itself, sending both Makie and Ace spilling down onto the arena floor. Tumbling down onto her side, Makie was left breathing hard, one arm reaching back to clutch at her back. She was in incredible pain at this point, her spine throbbing painfully, and she felt hot tears of agony welling in her eyes as she lay facedown on the mat. She was conscious of little else, save for the deafening noise of the crowd all around her.

Gritting her teeth despite the pain she began to slowly but surely move. First one arm, then the other, slowly getting her knees under her as she began the slow and arduous process of trying to get back up...all the while conscious that Ace might be trying the same thing...
