Showdown VI: Silver Ace vs Makie Akamatsu

Ace went down onto the mat, clutching her breasts with a pained gasp after the poor girls were dropkicked, needing at least a moment before she could get up.

Makie though, had no intention of giving her that moment, as within seconds after the kick, a shadow fell over Ace, and the Canadian only had a brief moment for her eyes to widen before Makie landed onto her stomach with a sudden Lionsault, getting a pained gasp out of the face-painted woman before her leg was hooked for a pin, the referee dropping down and slapping her palm against the mat!

"ONE!"

"TW-"

But that was as far as she got, as Silver Ace, downed but not out by a long shot, kicked her leg out of Makies grip, showing she still had plenty of fight to go before she would be pinned!

Makie's heart was beating in her ample chest. She wasn't just doing well against Silver Ace, she was kicking the Canadian's ass! As her lionsault hit home, she wasted no time in leaning against Ace and hooking one silver-clad leg upwards, wrapping her up for the pin. She allowed herself a brief glimmer of hope as the countdown seemed about to reach two.

But no: a fighter of Ace's caliber wasn't downed so easily, and the Canadian girl managed to kick out. Kneeling upright, Makie took a deep breath, brushed her hair out of her eyes, and quickly decided on her next move. Moving behind Ace, she grabbed a hold of her hair to pull her up to a seated position, and tried to snap her legs around Ace's midsection.

If all went according to plan, she would then try to wrap her arms around Ace's throat in a combination sleeper and body scissor! She doubted it would put Ace out so early in the match, but if it sapped the other girl's strength, all the better! That was, of course, unless her wily opponent managed to escape somehow...

Ah shit.

Things were starting to not go so well for the Canadian, as if the lionsault wasn't bad enough, before she could fully recover or get her wind back, Makie had her locked in *tight* with a sleeper/scissors combo hold!

"Ack....n-not...gonna...lose so easily..."

She groaned, her mind already working on how she could get out of this, whatever move she made, she needed to make it *quick* before more of her energy was sapped. Reaching back, she grabbed around the tag team champions thighs, and began rocking from side to side to build up enough momentum that she could roll onto her front, getting her knees under her and starting to push herself up to her feet with Makie hanging on her back!

Makie clenched her teeth as she locked on the hold, clinging tightly to Ace's own slender form as she locked her legs and arms together. She could feel the other girl rasping for breath in her grip, and knew almost immediately that her hold was having the intended, draining effect upon Ace. All the same, Makie wasn't surprised to hear Ace refuse to give up: if she were in her shoes, she wouldn't either.

Slowly but surely, though, Ace began to power up to her under her, rocking back and forth and eventually rolling the two of them over. Now on top of Ace, Makie huffed, Ace no doubt feeling the other girl's breath against her ear as Makie held on, feeling Ace trying to get up from underneath her...

It was certainly not easy, but with effort, Ace was able to get her legs back under her, and push herself back up to her feet, with Makie hanging on, constricting her airways with her legs and arms. This was risky. Makie had a tight grip, and if Ace didn't play her cards right, she'd be in serious trouble.

Aiming herself towards the turnbuckle, Ace began to run backwards, trying to slam Makie's back into the turnbuckle to try and shake her off!

Makie could hear Ace's laboured breath as the masked Canuck slowly but surely got her knees underneath her. She was amazed that Ace was able to do this much, what with Makie restricting her airflow the way she was. A part of her began to wonder if maybe Ace was far stronger than she had realized...but then it was just as possible that Ace was stubborn as all hell, a trait the two of them just might share in common....

Makie didn't have much time to think on the matter, though, as Ace suddenly shot up underneath her. The next thing Makie knew, the two of them were powering backwards, right into the turnbuckle. "OAAAAAGGGH!" Makie gasped, the impact causing her to arch against the turnbuckle, releasing Ace as sharp pain lanced through her back...

Oh thank sweet Canadian Jesus Geddy Lee that worked. Makie's grip had been like iron, and if Ace hadn't knocked her off with the slam into the turnbuckle, her options would have been severely limited.

Luckily, it worked, the Canadian falling to all fours and rubbing her neck while Makie recovered in the corner from the reverse charge into the turnbuckle. Getting up to her feet, even with her throat still hurting, Ace grabbed Makie's arm, pulling her roughly towards her while swinging her free arm out, trying to pull the tag team champion into a stiff clothesline!

Makie's back was throbbing with pain after being so brutallty introduced to the corner post. She was forced to grab the top topes to keep from falling over, furiously trying to keep herself upright. Opposite her, Ace was approaching her, looking winded, but still very much in this fight as she reached for her arm.

Makie braced herself, expecting to be throw across the ring to bounce back at Ace. To her surprise, however, the Canadian didn't want to wait this long, yanking Makie forward only to nail her with a close-ranged clotheseline! "Aaak!-" Makie gasped, hitting the mat with a crash. She clutched her throat, gaspin for air as she rolled to the side, stunned by that brutal blow...

Immediately after hitting her clothesline, Ace dropped to a knee, holding and rubbing her throat as she continued to catch her breath, amazed at just how tight Makie had applied that sleeper hold. If Ace hadn't been able to pull off that counter and get Makie off of her, it honestly might not have taken that long to put Ace to sleep.

This girl was a threat for sure, and Ace resolved to treat her like a threat for the rest of this match. Getting back to her feet, soothing her throat, Ace took off for the ropes, bouncing off of them for extra momentum and running back towards Makie's body, leaping up into the air when she was still a few feet away and bending her knee, trying to land a knee drop right onto Makie's chest!

Makie's breathing was ragged after having taken that direct clothesline. Sucking in lungfuls of air, she rolled onto her back, her chest rising and falling as she tried to catch her breath, knowing in the back of her mind that Ace had to be on the move again right now.

And she wasn't wrong: a second later, Ace came leaping into view again, and Makie barely had time to react before Ace's knee came thunder down into her heaving orbs. Makie's eyes widened as, with a tremendous "OOOOF!" the air was blown out of her lungs. The impact sent her rolling onto her side, one arm clutching her hurting chest as she tried to roll away from the Canadian...
