Submission Match: Suzumi vs. Eliza

Suzumi thought she was ready to land a nice powerslam or backdrop on Eliza, but the spunky woman clearly wasn't going to have any of that! As Suzumi readied herself to catch Eliza, her opponent had come flying back at her quicker than she had anticipated. It was all too late when Suzumi saw her jump up into the air, unable to move as the dropkick came and hammered her in the chest! Suzumi groaned as she flew back, landing flat on her back with a loud bang as she crashed into the canvass!

She was stunned for a moment, cradling her chest as she winced, looking up at the bright arena lights. She had to get up although at this moment her body just did not want to cooperate leaving Suzumi wide open to Eliza's offense. This was a dangerous spot to be in...

Some collective cheers and Oooh's when the boots of Eliza crashed right into her chest. That definetly got the crowd excited a bit more, the Texan knew this was still a submission match but it doesn't mean the All-America couldn't bust out moves like that. Especially if it meant that it would soften the opponent up for something good.

She couldn't see how Suzumi reacted during the dropkick, more busy in just falling and rolling back safely. But she knew that she hit the Tsunami, the impact giving a good indicator. Once she got up to her feet though, Eliza would see the effect, Suzumi cradling her chest. The opportunity presented itself. And Eliza planned on taking advantage of it.

With a deep breath, the Texan rushed to the ropes, leaping up as she looks to hop onto the middle rope, getting enough spring before jumping off, attempting to land on top of Suzumi with a lionsault!

Suzumi was hurting, and that would increase exponentially as the crowd cheered Eliza's successful moonsault! Suzumi cried out in agony and writhed on the mat underneath Eliza and she had totally given up momentum and control to the American!

Suzumi was groaning in pain and wheezing in the aftermath of the moonsault, too hurt to act in her own defense.

There were a lot of things that could go wrong with the moonsault, most notably, Eliza missing Suzumi’s body and landing on the canvas. Luckily she found a much better landing as her body splashed on Suzumi. Right where she wanted it too!

With Suzumi reeling from that moonsault, Eliza looked to press her advantage as she scrambled over the Tsunami, the momentum on her side. She found her chance and needed to go for it. The young Texan grabbed on Suzumi’s legs, manipulating them, looking to do some damage to her legs and mobility as she attempted to lock in a sharpshooter!

Suzumi grit her teeth and felt the pain mount, the agony increasing exponentially as the sharpshooter was applied! She howled in pain s she tried to reach for Eliza's ankles to pull and free herself by upending the woman. No go. Eliza had her hold too firmly set. The pained, aching, sore and screaming Suzumi had a less finesse oriented recourse and one she hated to take. Suzumi began to reach out and crawl for the ropes, dragging their combined weight over as opposed to pulling off a more technical escape! It was humbling for Suzumi and her body was paying the price as the pain mounted with each second!

The crowd cheering on once Eliza managed to lock in that sharpshooter on Suzumi, putting the pressure right on her back that arcs in a painful way! Pulling on the legs, the Texan looked to do some damage to the back of the Tsunami. There was only one thing that Suzumi could do and Eliza knew as much as the Japanese woman started to crawl to the ropes. Having to drag the both of them to the ropes was a hard thing to do as Suzumi screamed in pain.

All the meanwhile, Eliza would wrench the hold even more, putting as much pressure on her back as she could!

Suzumi howled in pain, reaching and dragging as she inched closer to the rope, her whole body seemingly aching or throbbing in pain. She howled loudly again, her hand stretching as her fingers just barely hooked around the bottom rope!

The referee calle for the rope break immediately, seeing Suzumi grab on for dear life as the bottom rope was held in a tenuous grip! Her eyes were forced shut and her teeth grit as she was hoping Eliza honored the rope break, knowing full well that she needed a release from this pain soon otherwise she was in real trouble!

Still cranking on that hold, Eliza having to follow along with Suzumi as she tries to reach for the ropes. The All-American had the move locked in not long ago, cranking back on the Wrestle Angel. She has her where she wants her to be, hearing her howls of pain. It almost seems a bit deja vu, this position being too familiar for the Texan…

Regardless, Suzumi inched closer and closer valiantly fighting through the pain and grabbing onto the rope. Eliza would have hoped that she could hold her in this move for longer though. But the Texan will let go, honoring the rope break, letting go before she would hear the ref counting out. With the damage that hold has done, she has a good shot at this!

For now, Eliza backs off, holding her hands up for the official. Now she needs to figure out what next to do.

Suzumi gasped and laid there on the mat, trying to use the ropes to help her stagger up woefully to her feet. She hobbled and swayed before turning around to face Eliza who was up and waiting. Suzumi sized her up and knew she had to do something. Hold for hold was one thing, but Suzumi knew if she could mix things up it would only help her out by keeping Eliza guessing.

As Suzumi lurched forward, each step seeming to hurt her, she tried to jump up and plant Eliza square in the chest with a surprise dropkick! She could only hope it would take her opponent to the mat and create an opening for her, otherwise if this was dodged it would be Suzumi wide open for more of Eliza's offense!

Letting go of the hold, Eliza quickly moved away before the ref could give the warning. Brushing her golden locks, she awaits for her opponent to rise up. She figured Suzumi would get free from the hold though she wasn’t going to make it easy for her. The Texan was even more pumped up with the action, having to battle with a Wrestle Angel is awesome for her!

The All-American did do a number on the Tsunami however as she hobbled and swayed to her feet. Sizing her up, the Texan was ready to do battle. Suzumi lurched forward, staggering, Eliza expecting a takedown or throw attempt. What she didn’t expect was a dropkick, Eliza’s eyes widened before she felt both feet strike at her chest! “Oooof!” Falling onto her back, coughing as she was taken by complete surprise, Suzumi seeming to have more tricks up her sleeve, laying on her side.
