Melody Serperior vs Garuga Ise, standard match

Locking in the hold had been a last minute victory for the cop, Melody had a knack for at least staying in the game as it seemed. But when it was locked in, Ise was pretty positive that she could now wear the girl down until she had her in a good position for her finisher, the running forearm smash.

And it started pretty well for her, she could feel how the other girl fruitlessly tried to muscle her way out of the full nelson maneuver. But then things went south rapidly for the officer when Melody suddenly changed tactics and brought her out of balance.
"GHN!"
Forced to let go of her opponent, Ise fell on the mat, surprised by a large amount.

Melody sighed in relief after escaping the hold, stepping away from Ise as she rubbed her sore neck after being in the hold for a good 20 seconds. She was breathing rapidly with the match going for a good while now, and it was good to assume that the officer was also getting tired. The greenette knew it was time to bust out the strongest moves in her arsenal.

Getting her hands around Ise's head, Melody would pull her opponent back to her feet, before sending a stiff kick to her gut!

Seizing her head into a front facelock, Melody would grab Ise's trousers (making sure not to grab her belt this time), to pull the officer off of her feet to drive her head into the canvas for an Impaler DDT!

Things did not always turn out as they had been planned. Most of the time, things liked to go into a whole different direction than she had hoped for them to go, but such was life. both in the ring and especially as a police officer. And as much as she lobbied against routine because it made things predictable and therefore a little bit boring, sometimes it paid off to be the conservative type. and now it looked that it had paid off for the pokemon named girl in the ring when the skull of the big officer collided once again with the mat.
"Ufgh!"

Satisfyingly, Melody drove Ise's head right into the canvas, severely dazing the police officer. Even though she felt that a pin would be a good idea to try and win the match after such a big move, Melody wanted the guarantee that her next move would be the final pin of the match.

As such, the greenette would quickly climb the nearest corner. Sizing Ise up, Melody would leap off of the turnbuckle, flipping forward in midair, trying to nail the officer with a Swanton!

That was pretty hard, much harder than Ise had it in mind. as long as she could make her little jokes and little rhetoric tricks, a match was all full of fun. But when she was laid out in the ring, things were not that funny with all the coughing, groaning and looking just pained.

Absorbed in her little thought, the cop had missed the flying body and the other girl in general, but to be fair it had been rather quick because Melody was poised as it seemed. When all was said and done, the smaller girl landed the swanton, causing the officer to gasp in pain and jackknife up from the impact.
"UHNFGH!"

With Melody's back successfully landing on top of Ise's stomach, Melody would quickly rolled through, getting back to her feet. Charged up, with adrenaline running in her blood, Melody was eager to finish the match. She hit 2 of her strongest moves in the row. It was time to go out with THE strongest move in her arsenal.

Picking the officer up by her head, Melody tried to get Ise back to her feet: "Good match officer...but time to end it!", Melody would call out, getting ready to push her opponent's head into the mat for her finishing Leaf Blade!

Now her opponent was on a clear role, and the old lioness looked as if she was in bad trouble, now also in her own imagination. And she surely was indeed, too much damage had come in with too less ability to counter it out left. So it was a pretty long way for her up from the floor again. With the little speech her opponent seemed to let loose in the face of clear victory, Ise was not ready to be a bystander at the victory parade just yet.

"Not so fast with your victory parade!"
The big cop said before attempting to nail Melody with a surprising choke slam.

Right as Melody tried to grab Ise's head to slam it down into the mat, it seemed like the Senior Officer still had some gas left in the tank, as she grabbed and lifted Melody by the throat, and slammed her, backfirst, into the canvas for a devastating choke slam!

Melody let out a loud scream, as she laid on the mat. It was difficult for her to even start to find her way to her feet. So, for several seconds, she laid on her side, holding her hurt back as she cringed in pain...

"Agh!"
Now if that had not been really close. Ise was not sure if she had much left in the tank, but the satisfying thud of the choke slam made her more comfortable again. Leaning heavily, she would breathe in an out for move of her own, a devastating running forearm smash labeled the RAM while she waited for Melody to get up.

Moving her shoulder to set in the right place as it seemed before she leaned heavily into a rope to then shoot forward with a speed a common spectator would not have thought she was capable off, clearly aiming for the cheek of Melody to put her out of her misery.

Cringing in pain and holding her back, Melody tried to get back to her feet. The fact that Ise wasn't capitalizing on her current position meant that the Officer had something devastating in mind. A finisher perhaps? The greenette wouldn't question that choice, one good move on her was outta do it to get her down on the floor for the 3 seconds required for the pin...

She sat up, Ise was quite a good distance away from her. Definitely going for a finisher. But...if she could time it just right...

She pressed her soles to the canvas and stood up. Ise rushed in for the kill, Melody played possum, looking dazed for a good second...

Until only a meter between them remained, at which point Melody leapt up in the air! Ise was unlikely to stop her momentum, and as such, she expected her head to run into her arms, at which point Melody would attempt a second Leaf Blade to finish the match for good!!!
