Melody Serperior vs Garuga Ise, standard match

Maybe the girl would be cool with it, maybe not. A wrestling career did not last all too long and some wrestlers found themselves back into the mundane world of having a normal job where only the odd fan showed up then and when for a probably odd autograph when you had serious work to do. Or even worse, you could end as a meme showing you sitting all alone at a table with some autographs of yourself. Luckily not every dork could walk into a police station to ruin your day.

Then her opponent came back to life with a roundhouse kick, causing the cop to grin a little before she took the hit to the side with the tranquility of a mountain despite the quite harsh impact before she would attempt to lock the leg to her side with one of her arms and then rain chops to the chest against her opponent in case of success.
"You know that only one man does live in a round house, right?"

"Shit!", Melody quietly muttered. She was about to smirk with satisfaction as she managed to land her roundhouse kick...until Orochi caught her leg, absorbing the hit, not paying much attention to the pain from it.

She tried to escape, to squirm her leg out of the trap, until Ise unleashed a barrage of chops to Melody's modest bust!

She grunted as she recieved each hit, with her chest eventually burning in more than single sense of the word, burning with pain, and turning red from all the hits it was recieving.

Knowing that this would continue for a while if she did nothing, Melody would use her trapped leg as a pivot to rotate herself, aiming her other foot at the officer's head for an Enzuigiri!

"So you´re not a Chuck Norris admirer. A big minus in my book, sorry."
Ise grinned widely when she let her palm crash again and again on the chest of her opponent. Of course she was accompanied by loud WHOOO chants every time her hand found it´s mark, and why not pay homage to the great wrestlers of the past?

Then Melody had a plan on her own with the match and hit her with an enzuigiri right between the eyebrows!
"UHN!"
Disoriented, the big girl stumbled back until she basically fell backwards into a corner with her arms stretched out over the top rope.
"Maybe I was wrong about you not being an admirer of Chuck Norris."

With Melody's foot finding her way to the officer's head, Ise would stagger towards the ropes to recover from the move:

"Never saw any of his movies. Just think roundhouse kicks are cool and effective", she would remark, getting closer towards the officer.

Grabbing Ise's head to drag the officer a short distance away from the ropes, Melody would keep the hold of the officer's head, as she herself would step towards the ropes, jump onto and off of the top rope, before driving the officer's head into the canvas with a Springboard Tornado DDT!

So the girl had indeed no idea about Chuck Norris. Ise had not really expected it anyway, but it would have been funny in the context of a roundhouse kick. Not that she did really think it was a good move, anything that turned your back to the opponent was a potential recipe for disaster in her opinion, but to each their own she supposed. and speaking of supposing, Melody had obviously learned from her little game at the beginning of the match and was looking to go for another DDT or bulldog move with the headlock, but Ise had a devious little idea for it when she would try to step the girl on the foot with one of her big boots to stop her from running.

"A little one dimensional, or not?"
The cop remarked, still a little bit grinning in the headlock.

"Damnit...", Melody said through her teeth as Ise stepped on Melody's foot, making sure the green-ette didn't get to the ropes for her move...

Quickly thinking of a different way to attack the officer in her current position, Melody would remark to Ise with a smirk:

"Have it your way"

Getting her foot away from under Ise's and grabbing a hold of the belt on her trousers for better leverage, she would lift the officer over her head to slam her down to the mat back first with a Vertical Suplex!

Her little and simple move seemed to have worked pretty well, and she kind of silently congratulated herself for her little prediction game that seemed to have been spot on as Melody did move nowhere as it seemed.

But her game would also come back to bite her in the butt big time this one. As soon as Melody had attempted to use a move out of the bulldog or cutter family again, Ise had calculated her to be a basic wrestler with a rather basic repertoire and maybe one or two highlights that broke the mold in a later part of the match, but now she was truly surprised and rattled by the other girl!
"Wow, look at her hands REEEHHFFF...."
She said hastily while hurled through the air right to a crash landing, hoping that the referee girl would reprimand her opponent a little and buy her some time after she had crashed.

With the thunderous (and surprising, considering the green-ette's usual repertoire of moves) suplex from Melody, she quickly got to her feet, feeling the muscles in her arms pulsing as she still wasn't used to lifting and slamming people over her head (that being more of her friend's forte).

Her plan was to go for the pin immidiately. Granted, it was decades since anyone won with a regular old vertical suplex, but the pin would allow her to gauge the damage on Ise, and get the officer to expend more energy!...

...but it went awry the moment ref stood between the two wrestlers:

"Excuse me, but that's against the rules to grab the wrestler's belt like that."

Melody blinked once in response, before realizing that, on instinct, she grabbed Ise's belt rather than her trousers when trying to help her with leverage for the suplex. Technically, it wasn't legal to grab your opponent by their attire. Still, considering that, Melody thought suplexes and brainbusters were an exception.

"O-ok, grabbed it instead of the trousers by accident, sorry. Does that really make it that much of a difference though?"

The ref scratched her head for a second, before giving her reply: "Look, just...just don't do that. Grab the trousers the next time, just like you said...", moving out of the way to allow the match to continue, Melody simply sending a slightly irritated look at the official.

Melody swiftly hooked Ise's leg, pinning the officer, despite knowing that the time she gave her allowed her to recover a bit, likely allowing Ise to kick out of the pin a second later than she would have earlier...

If it had not hurt at the moment, the officer would have probably smiled when she heard the referee girl give her opponent a reprimand for grabbing her belt. To be honest, the Japanese had absolutely no idea herself if it was allowed to grab a belt like that or not, and the referee obviously had thought about it too to come to the conclusion that she would not allow it.

And that indeed bought her enough time to kick out at the eleventh hour with as much effort needed but not much beyond that.
"Too bad for...you..."
She commented with a little strain in the voice. Definitely some ring rust here!

The ref actually managed to reach a 2 count after Melody pinned Ise! Melody audibly growled in response and at Ise's taunt, she might've actually beaten the officer if the ref didn't get in her face!

But she tried to subdue the negative emotions as she got to her feet. If she got that close to beating her opponent, she could easily repeat the feat again, WITHOUT the ref getting in her face this time.

With Ise still lying vulnerable on the canvas despite her kicking out, Melody ran towards the nearest set of ropes, jumping on the second one, and doing a flip in the air, aiming her body to collide with Ise's in a Springboard Moonsault!
