Zoey Satoshi vs. Peggy McIntyre

Peggys head, neck and back hurt from the surprise impact that was the product of her own cocky essential as much as anything else.  

She was folded over with the count well past one before she knew what was being pinned!  Peggy began to squirm and thrust her legs but she was in no position to utilize her size and strength advantage!  "No no no!  Ya can't possibly beat me!

"TWO!"

Peggy cried out and thrusting again!  Nothing.  She again saved up her energy knowing one strong bucking of her hips and legs would do the....

"THREE!"

"No fuckin' way!  NO!"  Peggy cried out as she bucked Zoey off of her, too little too late.  She slapped the mat with both hands three times kneeling of  her knees and bowing forward, so embarrassed that she hid her face from the crowd and especially Zoey!

The matchbook pin she had locked Peggy into made it much easier to keep the bigger woman down, in spite of the enormous gap in physical ability between the two wrestlers. She nodded her head with each count from the referee, and then finally let out a squeal of excitement at the three count. Zoey had beat someone twice her weight, against all the odds. The Japanese girl quickly released her opponent, but timed it quite poorly as Peggy bucked hard at the same time, sending the little girl back hard against the corner post with a soft "Oof!"

She was about to jump up and down to celebrate, but noticed Peggy curled into a ball. Instead, she went down onto her knees and tried to put an arm around the Irish wrestler's back, leaning down to try and see her face. "Hey, miss, are you alright?" she whispered, just loud enough to be audible over the roar of the crowd.

Zoey came over and spoke. Peggy was silent, wanting to shout at Zoey for.... for what? For being resourceful and better than her? For Peggy coming over to Japan to show that McIntyre women like her and her aunt Velvet are more than jobbers... and very much failing in the process?

"I'm fine, I just.... I dunno. Enjoy Yer fuckin' win. Maybe I'll remember what that is like one day." Peggy said as she got up and have a small.nod to Zoey, making a hasty exit. Peggy walked up the ramp with her hands on her hips looking down and shaking her head


"Hey ya see how a little girl here can beat a full grown lady like her? She needs to hit the gym or maybe actually train!" Peggy heard a fan call out, others joining in as a few among the crowd that weren't cheering Zoey turned to laughing at Peggy.

She made her way up the ramp in silence.

The little Japanese girl couldn't help but feel bad at seeing how badly Peggy was taking her defeat. She stood up and watched Peggy leave, a concerned expression on the half-Japanese wrestler's face, totally ignoring the victory announcement and the referee's attempts to hold her arm up. With Peggy out of sight, she feigned a happy smile over her victory, before quickly slipping out of the ring to chase the Irish woman, quickly running up the ramp and throwing out lazy high-fives to people offering.

Even she didn't like how the audience were talking about the both of them. Peggy was winning that match, she probably deserved it more than Zoey. She also didn't like the way they spoke of 'even a little girl', as if Zoey winning was some unexpected incredible event. A decent chunk of respect for the AFW audience was lost after that.
