Mako Adachi VS Suzumi Ishikawa: We're Gonna Need a Bigger Cage

Mako succeeded in propelling herself off the cage and landed a springboard bulldog on Suzumi, causing the woman’s face to throb in pain judging from her reaction. The shark wasn’t surprised though considering how hard she planted the Tsunami’s face against the mats. So after Suzumi rolled onto her back, Mako decided this would be a good chance to put her opponent out of it.

So after getting on her knees, the shark would grab onto the woman’s shoulders and try to flip the Tsunami around and start bringing herself and her opponent up on their feet. And once there, Mako would attempt to hook and arm between Suzumi’s legs and another around her shoulder so that she could scoop the Tsunami up for a simple, yet powerful, body slam.

Suzumi was in a daze as Mako hauled her up to her feet. The wobbly Suzumi was unable to put up any real resistance as she was picked up and planted back down to the mat with a bodyslam! She groaned in agony and arched her back, still on the wrong end of the offense in the match!

Suzumi's face was red as she was downright disappointed with her showing thus far. However, at this juncture she was hurting and moving at all seemed to be taxing. She laid on her back, her chest heaving as she drew each breath. After a moment Suzumi would try to roll over and stagger up to her feet in a desperate attempt to fight through the pain and at least get in some position to stop Mako's explosive offense!

Mako drove her opponent down with a simple slam, thinking that with all the hits so far, Suzumi would be down for a little bit. But as she watched the Tsunami roll over and start to get up once again, the shark knew she'd have to knock the woman out cold if she wanted to get out of this cage and win the match.

"Come on Suzumi, on your feet" Mako would say as she grabbed the woman's shoulders and tried to bring her head between the shark's legs. If all went well, Mako would hook the Tsunami's arms for her pedigree finisher. The rising water would probably soften the landing, but it should still put Suzumi out of it for a bit.

Suzumi had been on the wrong end of more offense than she dished out but she wasn't out of it yet. Mako grabbed her and secured her arms for a pedigree but Suzumi widened her feet and tensed up her back.

With a loud cry she lift up, flipping Mako over her back as suddenly as she could to get as much impact as possible!

Mako managed to secure her opponent's arms and was ready to slam her down on the water covered ring, but things went south before the shark could manage to do so. Instead, Suzumi would lift her up before flipping Mako into the water. The shark's eyes widened and she cursed before hitting the water, causing her to swallow some water and start coughing as it got in her lungs.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the water also got in her eyes, which disoriented her vision as she tried to get back on her feet. "Damn...cough!...Chlorine!...cough, cough!" Mako would curse as she tried to wipe her eyes clear, giving the Tsunami a big opportunity to attack.

Suzumi saw Mako was down and waste no time, fighting her pain and fatigue to lift Mako up. Suzumi stood behind her wrapping up her arms in a full nelson hold!

Suzumi wrenched on that for a second andinterview up with all the power she could muster in am effort to plant Mako against the mat with a dragon suplex!

Mako thought she had some time...but that was a dumb thing to think as she felt Suzuki's arms wrap around her neck as she was still a bit blinded. "Gah! G-Get...off!" the shark would shout as she tried driving some elbows at the the woman's side to get free. She didn't have much luck though as Suzumi lifted her up and slammed the shark down with a powerful dragon suplex!

The water helped a tiny bit with the landing, but Mako was still stunned by the impact and would be left floating face up in the water. The Tsunami had just made a bit dent in Mako, and for the moment, it looked like Suzumi had all the time in the world to do whatever she wanted.

Suzumi knew opportunity when she saw it, and given how Mako had controlled more of the match than she did Suzumi made her way to the cage and began to climb! She grunted as she began her ascent, her aching body not making this climb an easy one by any means!

She had to keep going and to move as quickly as she could. One more fall from a great height like this would not bode well for her all!

Mako had been knocked out of the game for a moment, and Suzumi could have actually got out by the time she got it together, if it hadn't been for the ring filling up more and more. After floating for a bit, the shark sucked down some of the water and ended up getting shocked backed to attention. "*Cough*...*cough*...ugh...oh fuck!" Mako would curse after she finished gagging up a storm and coughed up the bad tasting water. With the Tsunami so high up already, things were really looking bad for her.

"No no no no NOOO!" the shark would say in a panic. Not waisting any time, Mako would stagger to her feet before reaching up desperately to grab Suzumi by the boot. If successful, which she prayed she was, the shark would begin to climb up as well in order to get a better grip on the Tsunami. It was do or die time, and Mako would be damned before she let the match end like this.

Suzumi was high up looking up with the end in sight, her body aching. Then came the hand grasping her ankle. In a fit of panic Suzumi hung on trying to flail her leg free. Her attempts failed and she was clinging to the cage for dear life as Mako held on, grabbing at Suzumi!
