Mini Event

I've had multiple suggested ideas for a mini events or tournaments to take place in the downtime between Avalanche and Summer Splash. In my mind, we are definitely going to be having a Tension PPV because it has been a while since the last official one and I am hoping for that to take place around March April time.. With Avalanche tailing off probably around the end of January and Summer Splash 2017 starting June, things are going to be tight and there will be some overlap between PPVs (even more so if we decide to have a tournament rather than mini event.)

For now, I have just set the poll as the themes that I have heard being suggested... We can decide whether to make it a tournament or mini event seperately.. I personally would really prefer a mini event cause we've been having quite a few tournaments and they last a much longer than a normal event.. But I appreciate that some of the suggestions would be better as a tournament then an event.

Here's a very quick summary of the choices... For the moments we can only really push ahead with one event (along with the Tension PPV), but that is not to say that we won't be able to do one or some of the other events much later on.


Friction World Cup - This is based on an idea that Tatyina was going to put into action before he left and would basically have wrestlers representing their country for matches

Creampuff tournament/event - This revolves around the loser of the match progressing in some fashion (as I said above, this is one of the examples where it would work best as a tournament)

Rookie tournament/event - This suggestion was intended to help newer players get involved in an event and maybe help them to get matches with more experience player. The event would be for rookie wrestlers (not neccessarily rookie players).. And I guess there would be some places for non-rookie players, so everyone would get a chance

Deathmatch tournament/event - An event or tournament that revolves around hardcore wrestlers and matches

Friction World Cup because everyone can take part in it.

Quick question ahead of time, is there a "cut-off" date for a wrestler to be considered a rookie?

When someone (I think it was M.J.Caboose) offered the idea I believe he said something about 6 months

I think its about a year.

Can I revote and vote for Friction World Cup?

I don't claim to speak for everyone, but I think if more detail was provided, about all of the potential tournaments, that would make things clearer.

Agreed, I feel we should give good explanations of each event. Friction World Cup seems to be lacking information.

Specifically with the Friction World Cup, it was done before 2 years back.. You can see the rules here, there was a tournament contained within it as well with each person representing a differnet country

But I'm not sure we would do something that vast this time (it might be completely different really), I'd need to discuss it more with the person who would be running it.

I realized the logic behind Person's statement when Person said everyone can take part in the Friction World Cup and thought it would be more fun and fair if people had a chance to participate!
