Danika vs. Kei

The Czech was in a foul mood. Her last match saw victory taken from her by way of outside interference. She was certain Morgana was abiut to be beat when Danika's least favorite goth "friend" showed up. Now she was going up against the aging Canadian Kei.

Normally Danika would not have paid any mind to her, but this woman had recently been in a title match of sorts. That meant a win over her would do wonders for Danika. As her music played she walked down to the ring, her icy stare focused on the ring in front of her. She jumped from the ground tonthe apron in a hop, then again jumped over the ropes to enter the ring.

She did not acknowledge the crowd at all once she entered, simpky crossing her arms and staring back up the ramp to wait for this old woman to get to the ring.

For the past month or so things have felt a bit off for Kei. To the average person nothing seemed wrong. Other than being banged up from her previous match she didn’t appear to be seriously injured, and while that was the case a few of those close around her felt something wasn’t right but they couldn’t put their finger on it. When word came that she would be getting back in the ring soon Wes, Jesse, and Kayura all thought that whatever the feeling was would fix itself with this in-ring encounter.

On the day of the match she got ready as usual, though she did so at a slightly slower pace than normal, however nothing appeared to be wrong with her physically as she was cleared to go. When it came time to head down to the ring on the surface she looked peachy, though her mind wasn’t 100% focused on what awaited her in the ring. Overall however she was in control of herself as she stepped through the ropes. As she got a feel for the ropes and took a look at her opponent afterwards, her mind became clearer.

Danika said nothing to her foe as she made her approach, simply shaking her head. As soon as Kei was in the ring she glared at her. Danika heaed the bell ring and waste no time in stepping up to swing her lwg around in an attwmpt to hammer Kei's side with a swift mid-kick!

Danika was not going to waste time at all in putting this old lady down.

Once the bell ran Kei motioned for Danika to come closer. She wanted to start thing off simple, though was caught by surprise with a mid-kick. "Hey!" That caused her to move back half a step or so, not thinking Danika would start off like that. However Kei wasn't one to let the younger one get the better of her without having a say in the matter. If Danika didn't follow up with more kicks Kei would attempt to force Danika in a lockup before wanting to transition it quickly into a side a headlock, a really tight one.

Danika raised an eyebrow as Kei moved in again! Before she could act Kei had her in a side headlock. Danika groaned as she grabbed Kei around the waist.

It wasn"t going to be easy but the smaller woman behan to lift, trying to hit Kei with a backdrop to free herself from the headlock.

She had a nice grip on Danika, though she felt that grip loosen a bit as she felt her feet coming off the ground Danika attempted to lift her. She decided to let go so she could focus on attempting to weigh herself down to stop Danika in her tracks. If she managed to do so she would tease reapplying it, but instead go for a backsuplex. Otherwise she would have left her self wide open for Danika to strike.

Danila groaned as she lift up, unable to get Kei off ger feet. Danika reset, taking a deep breath in order to lift again.... only to be lift up herself!

She cried out in surprise, hitting the mat with a resounding thud! Danika groaned as she rolled onto her stomach, in a lot of pain from that landing! She was small and fast, withstanding punishment like that was never her forte. She was in for a long night if Kei continued offense like that.

She had multiple options after Danika rolled to her stomach, however she decided to get a theme going and lift Danika up and this time set her up for a vertical suplex, which if she was able to execute it without any major issues she would have the mindset of taking Danika on a little trip...take her down to suplex city where the grass is green and the bumps aren't pretty.

Danika was lift up without any problem and when she came crashing down she screamed and arched her back, reaching to rub some of the pain out although that effort was futile at best. She was already hurting, gritting her teeth as she laid on the mat at Kei's feet.

Danika tried to maneuver herself so she could take a desperation swipe at Kei, trying to sweep her legs to take her down to the mat.

Already having an idea of where she'd go with this, Kei went to go for Danika, but stopped when Danika swung her legs into hers with the leg sweep. To her it felt like she was one of those removable cubical walls that someone ran into, got moved back a tiny bit but didn't go down. She doesn't look to pleased by it as it stung for a moment. If Danika didn't attempt to go for it again Kei would look to lift Danika up and set up for a front suplex, instead however she would aim to drop her across the upper rope to spring her off of it and connect with a vertical suplex.
