AV 16 Hardcore Title cage match: Adrian Kytes (c) vs. Silver Ace

"Gah...shit!"

Ace yelled, finding herself trapped around in a sudden headlock, trying to squirm her way out, only for Adrian to grab her arm and transition the hold to a hammerlock, twisting her arm behind her.

"Cmon, get off!"

She yelled, trying to swing her free arm back and elbow Adrian, if she could.

Jushin Liger eat your heart out, or was it Tiger mask who did that transition? Either way, Adrian was torn between ducking and weaving away from Ace's strikes and keeping the pressure on to the point where she ended up with neither. "Augh!" the brunette cried as she dropped her grip of the Canadian's arm and backed away, hands quickly clasped over where her opponent's wild swings got her: right in the teeth. A quick confirmation that she hadn't lost any would have to do for now, the dentist could be seen tomorrow... or however long it took to see a Dentist in Canada.

Ace felt a sharp stinging in the back of her arm as it smacked into Adrian's face, realizing after just what she hit, wincing as she realized she got her friend right in the teeth.

Reaching out, she grabbed Adrian by the back of her singlet and her arm.

"Send me the bill after!"

She yelled, accepting payment for fixing any toothy damage, before giving a mighty heave, trying to throw Adrian towards the cage wall!

There were the ropes in front of the cage, so in theory there was a chance for the ropes to take off most of the force from Silver Ace's throw, but in practice all it served to do was to act as a way to catapult Adrian down to the mat after her face smashed against the steel creating two crashes: Adrian hitting the cage then Adrian hitting the canvas. At least the pain of smacking her forehead against the metal was somewhat of a distraction from being hit in the teeth not 10 seconds prior.

Most of the arena, including Ace herself, winced as Adrian hit the cage and fell back to the mat, the first, of what no doubt would be many, hard shots between them.

Not one to be deterred, and knowing that Adrian wasn't going to show her any mercy herself, Ace bounced on her heels, waving Adrian up!

"Cmon champ! I know you can take more than that!"

"Okay..." Adrian wheezed as she reached out to grab the bottom rope, hauling herself up a lot slower than the first time she got knocked on her ass this match "...In a minute, I'll be with you to kick your ass in a minute..." the champion mumbled out, waving off the referee as she pulled herself back to her feet, wobbling slightly.

Wanting back in the fray, Adrian once again rushed at Silver Ace, this time trying to dive beside the Canadian and roll her up with a school boy. Time to see how attentive Ace had been towards Adrian's prior matchups.

Ace smirked, watching Adrian stagger up to her feet. She had been on a good start so far, dealt the heavier damage with her strike and throw, to negate what she felt was Adrians advantage in grappling ability, but tho was only the start of what would be a long, painful, fight.

Adrian rushed her, and Ace covered up, expecting a clothesline or a tackle attempt, caught off guard as Adrian suddenly tumbled her, rolling her up with her legs in the air, kicking wildly as the referee counted the pinfall!

"1.."

"2.."

"YAGH!"

Ace yelled, kicking both her legs up and out, breaking the pin! She quickly rolled away, on all fours, wide eyed, realizing she had just been a second away from sudden and quick defeat!

"Not...Not bad...nearly got me there...never liked school boys..."

Adrian wasn't talking back about how close that pin was. The shock had gotten her a two count but the actual pin was secondary to the Hardcore Champion's main goal, standing back up as Ace rolled up to all fours before sending out a superkick to the kneeling challenger, recreating the move she retained the title at Summer Splash.

Yeah, school boys sucked. That's why Ace personally preferred Valley in school girl attire...but that was a thought for another time.

Shaking her head, Ace had only just sat up onto her knee's, getting her head up, readying another quip for Adrian, adding some smack talk to try and take her off her game a bit...when Adrian smacked her instead, a swift superkick that Ace couldn't even see coming, hitting her chin and causing her head to violently snap back, as she collapsed onto the mat, spots and stars exploding in her vision, the crowd letting out a shocked gasp as the hometown favorite got hit early with Adrians finisher!

"Ngg...mmf..."

Ace groaned, body twitching, a throbbing pain in her head, as she laid on the mat, chest heaving rapidly, her outfit flipping slightly upwards, exposing her spandex shorts.

Although the satisfaction of landing such a heavy blow was great, Adrian always felt like she couldn't get the full extension on her leg on such a low down target. Not that it seemed to make much difference to Ace, who was sent pitching backwards with the Hardcore Champion sprawling for the second cover in ten seconds, this time with a much higher chance of victory.
