Improving the North

Even in a spar Chelsea despised tapping out, much to Amy's annoyance as she could never tell how far was too far when she was locking her into olds. Still the pain was getting unbearable and she knew the only that would break first in this situation was her back if she remained stubborn.

After another few seconds in the hold Chelsea relented and started tapping her arm down onto the mat to be let go, trying to talk through the pain she was feeling didn't work out and while she still didn't ant to do this she knew it wouldn't help Belinda's mood if she hurt her in what's supposed to be a friendly spar.

Belinda didn't know how long she should keep this hold up, she herself wasn't feeling all that great in doing a bridge in this manner so she could only wonder how painful things were for Chelsea, it took quite a while but soon enough Chelsea started to tap and the instant she did the Swede would let go of those legs and slump down against Chelsea's back...she panted out for a second or two before attempting to role over onto her side.

Starting roll over onto her front and begin to push herself up to her hands and knees, she'd turn to look over at Chelsea. " D-damn..didn't think it would take that long to get you to tap." Belinda let as she'd get up onto her knees and over Chelsea a hand to help her friend up.

Chelsea groaned as the pressure was slowly removed from her back, which was an almost comforting feeling after nearly being snapped in half because of Belinda pulling as hard as she could. Laying on the ground before panting she looked up and took the hand she was offered as she got up to her butt.

"Yeah..did I mention...I'm extremely stubborn about tapping out...kind of a must know..if were going to be friends" Chelsea said, huffing between her words but a slight smile still on her face while she rested from nearly being broken in half.

Belinda pulled Chelsea upwards onto her butt and took a step back, watching the redhead rest the Swede didn't exactly wanna force Chelsea up any further as it seemed her submission hold had done a number on the stubborn redhead.

" Ahah...well sorry, You should have told me before. I wouldn't have waited until you'd tap." Belinda let out with a bit of a nervous laugh as she brought her hand up to the back of her head to scratch at it a bit. " Anyways....thanks for helping me out today."

the redhead was still rather sore from the move but wasn't complaining much, mostly because it was dumb to complain about something she mostly brought upon herself to a person who was trying to get better at things. So when the girl apologized regarding the submission move Chelsea just dismissively waved her hand with a shrug.

"What are friends for if not to practice on when its convenient? Do you feel any better?" She asked while she was trying to set herself back on her feet. From there she would wait and see where Belinda would decide to take this next, and see where she would need to go next.

Belinda would nod towards Chelsea and give her friend a little smile. " I mean, sorta yeah." The Swede spoke out as she would place her hands on her knees as she would bending her legs a little bit. She would soon enough straighten herself up and swing her arms around a bit to try and make herself feel a little less stiff.

" Thank you, really Chels. " Belinda let out as she would take a step forward and attempt to give Chelsea a firm hug.

Watching the blonde shuffle around while she talked the redhead was wondering how much she actually got from this. From the look of things she looked more confident then when she came in here and seeing as how the big issue regarding her skill was more about her lack of confidence and growing doubts that would be a step in the right direction.

Suddenly Belinda grabbed her and pulled her into a hug which Chelsea looked shocked at before returning and giving her a pat on the back. "No problem Belinda, just happy to help." she said sincerely. The smile on her face as she was happy to actually be of use to someone she viewed as a friend.

Belinda would nod her head as she heard what Chelsea said and the two of them hugged it out for a bit. After which the Swede broke the hug and took a step backwards. " Well...I think we both deserve a break, I will probably return to training later tonight again though. " Belinda let out as she would start to move out of the ring.

" So how about we call it for now, though you and me are far from finished Chelsea, we'll train a lot more....oh and you owe me a rematch still" Belinda let out in a slightly joking but also serious manner as she gave the redhead a wink of her eye, before she'd start to leave the gym and head towards the showers after gathering her things.
