Tension World Title Match: Reira Kirishima (C) vs. Kozue Kaburagi

Reira yelped, taking a hard punch to the face that made her stagger back a step. Growling, she turned back towards Kozue with a wicked grin before she moved in.

Kozue was fast, she hit fairly hard, and, as she had proven earlier in the match, could prove to be one hell of a problem for the champ. But thanks to Reira's clever strategy, Kozue now had a weakness, ripe to be exploited.

Quickly, she shot her leg out, aiming a hard kick right for Kozue's bad leg!

Kozue hit Reira with one of the best punches her body could muster, a full-bodied, bare-knuckled, closed-fist haymaker. Coming from her and her light body, it wasn’t exactly a knockout punch, but it connected and made the champ stagger. It also made Kozue feel better about the whole situation, so that was worth something. ”I can do that!”

It wasn’t enough to put Reira down, though, so she knew that retaliation would be coming soon. Sure enough, it arrived in the form of a kick to her bad leg, bringing Kozue down to her knees.

”Fuck!” The New Jersey Ninja growled, deep and gutteral, as enraged a sound as she could make. ”Cheap shot!”

"Yes, I'm sure your mother was a cheap slut."

Reira replied, opting to go for the cheap pun as she grabbed the ninja by the hair and pulled her up to her feet. Hooking her head under her arm, Reira grabbed the girls pants for leverage and lifted her up high into the air, planning on holding her up straight before bringing her back down with a powerful vertical suplex!

Kozue just ignored Reira’s little taunt with a shrug and a grunt, trying to focus on turning this back around instead. An upfront approach wasn’t really doing the trick, she needed to counter something the champion did and get the jump on her, switch the momentum around fast.

Here chance came when Reira caught her and tried to lift her up with a vertical suplex. It was a slim hope but Kozue didn’t resist the move - instead, when she was lifted up, she jumped along with it, giving it some extra power. She swung her legs back as she was lifted up, wrapped her arm tight around Reira’s head and fell supine on the mat, hitting the Champion with a somersault neckbreaker!

Reira almost wanted to laugh. This suplex would put this ninja bitch down and then she could go out and...was she going up faster tha-"GAH!"

Not expecting a counter, the champ was taken off guard, Kozue turning her own move against her like a sneaky little ninja bitch, dropping her to the mat, rubbing her neck and the back of her head after that neckbreaker.

The crowd had been steadily dying down as Reira took control of the match. Not outright booing, exactly, but more of a long, groaning resignation, as they realized that this wasn’t going to be their night and that the Tension World Title would be in the fallen angel’s hands for a while longer. But, as soon as it became clear that Kozue was reverse the suplex, the moment she seized the momentum and brought Reira crashing down, they surged back to life. Ninjette was alive. She was still in this, busted toes and all.

”Gotcha, bitch!” Kozue yelled in triumph, coming down for a hard landing. Reira got the worst of it, though, and she decided to take advantage right on the spot, kicking her leg up and rolling onto the champion’s chest.

She reached back, hooked Reira’s leg, pressed forward and pinned her shoulders to the mat. ”Count it!”

The referee dropped into a slid right beside them and started up. ”1…!”

"2...!"

Yelled both the referee and the crowd, once again excited now that Rozue was fighting back, hoping Reira would be stunned enough to not kick out.


Sadly for them though, Reira disappointed them all, kicking out just after the two count, breaking the pin and rolling to her side, rubbing her sore neck.

"Fucking cheating ninja slut!"

She yelled, apparently agitated.

Under normal circumstances, this would be the part of the match where Kozue, wanting to enjoy herself, would taunt her opponent and give them a little chance to be pissed, play with them and work up their nerves.

Not with Reira, though. She was a special case. From this point on, she’d be getting nothing but the rough treatment.

”What was that? Huh? Can’t hear you!” Kozue reached over, grabbed her by the shoulder, and forced her back down, keeping her grounded. From there, it was just a simple matter of mounting the champion’s chest and peppering her with a few fiery elbows to the face, hammering her with one after the other, getting more and more fired up with each shot that found its mark. ”Speak up!”

Oh Reira had something to say alright. Unfortunately, it was hard to say things when every time you tried to open your mouth, someone's fist smacked into your face.

Despite her attempts to block or counter, Kozue's fists were too quick, soon leaving the redhead groaning as she took more and more hits.

”1! 2! 3! 4!”

The audience was counting along with Kozue’s hits, but she wasn’t even bothering with that much effort. All she knew was that this was her chance, likely her last chance, to win this match, so she was going to throw every last bit of offense she had into Reira and hope it was enough to emerge victorious.

So far, so good. She just had to maintain it, unlike last time.

”Yeah,” She ended the count with a final blow and spat off to the side. ”About what I thought you’d say.”

Eager to further pile on the damage, Kozue gripped Reira’s hair and stood up, forcing the champion to stand along with her. She made sure to give her a couple of knees to the chest along the way, for some added incentive.
