Tension World Title Match: Reira Kirishima (C) vs. Kozue Kaburagi

Reira groaned, shaking her head and barely noticing the pin attempt and the first count. The knee to the back of her head, as well as having the air driven out of her by the 450 Splash, had done a number on her.

The second count though, the hand hitting the mat, the crowd counting along, got her attention. Despite the couple seconds it took to realize what was going on, she was surprisingly quick to kick her leg out, breaking the pin attempt!

"Drop the 'S' from Sass and you'll know what else she got! And- FOUR FIFTY SPLASH! OUTTA NOWHERE! New Champion! New Champion! Ohh but Kozue's hurt and she's losin time for that cover!

"ONE! TWO.... TH-NO! Two Count! Reira Kirishima, love her or hate her! She's tough as nails and just kicked out of Ninjette's high flying finisher that she dropped in the early goings of this championship match! Let's get an instant replay of that, huh!? Man I was dead sure Ninjette had it right there! Reira's obviously champ for a reason here, folks!"

Three seconds. That was all Kozue asked for. Three seconds, and she’d go from being the silly little ninja girl of Tension to the goddamn champion of the world.

But nope. Reira wasn’t quite done just yet.

Up came the shoulders, and the referee stopped her count on a dime, holding up two fingers for all to see. ”Two! Just two!”

”Fuck’s sakes.” Kozue ran a hand through her hair and undid the ponytail while was at it, letting it all flow free. Okay, so Reira kicked out. She needed a little more ass-kicking. Easy enough. ”Come on, Red, let’s go, almost done.” Kozue reached down and snagged Reira’s hair with both hands, roughly pulling the champion up to her feet

This was bad.

Sure, she had kicked out, but she could barely breath after that splash, and Kozue was already picking her up to try another move. She needed a reprieve, an escape of some kind.

Looking down, she saw her opening. Kozue's decision to wrestle barefoot would again haunt her, as Reira lifted her heavy boot and again stomped down hard on the girls toes, certain it would make her let go. Once she did, Reira took advantage, reaching up and grabbing Kozue around her neck and falling back to the mat, trying to drop Kozue face first into the nearby middle turnbuckle with a Reverse STO!

Kozue’s plan was a simple one: she’d lift Reira up, then repeatedly knee her in the face until she couldn’t kick out anymore. Pretty straightforward.

She was just about to do that, one second away, when her - the same damn foot that had been struck a moment ago -  was once again introduced violently to the underside of Reira’s boot, with predictable. ”Gah!” She howled to the high heavens. ”You fucking-”

Kozue wasn’t sure what happened next. All she knew was that it involved her face getting rammed into the turnbuckle at terminal speeds. One moment she was up and ready to kick the shit out of a redhead, the next she was on the floor, on her back, nursing what would likely be a bloody nose in a minute. "What...what is..."

"Alright, so I guess I ain't no fortune teller, but maybe that count was a lil slow? Oh well, looks like that Ninja gal needs ta put in some more work but the champ's got somethin ta say an those little piggies are gonna wah wah wah all the way to the infirmary after another cruel stomp!

Champ's got a lil bit a fight in her too as she manages ta smash the Ninja gal into the turn buckle and force her her flat on her back, reelin!"

Her "clever" plan having worked, Reira rolled out of the ring, bending over, holding her gut, panting hard, trying to catch her breath.

Sure, she COULD try for a pinfall and MAYBE it would work, but it was still early, and it was better she get her breath and lessen the pain her stomach first. Outside the ring was a good choice. Worst case option, she could let herself get counted out and retain the title that way.

She let the ref girl start counting her out, rubbing her stomach.

”Fucking...fuck…” Kozue muttered into the mat as she laid there, still reeling from the blow. ”...bitch, goddamn…”

She knew how this was supposed to go. This would typically be the part where Reira, having a clear advantage, starting stomping her into the mat with reckless abandon. So why wasn’t that happening? And why was the referee counting?

She pushed up, just enough to see that Reira had left the ring and was hanging around outside, in danger of being counted out. Seemed kind of stupid. Why give up the opening just to slum it outside, risking a countout? Kozue would win, at this rate.

...only titles didn’t change hands on countouts. If Kozue wanted the title, she’d have to drag Reira back inside. Somehow. She wasn’t quite sure how to do that yet, but she knew it wouldn’t happen just by laying there. ”Gotta be shitting me.”

Kozue rolled out of the ring, resetting the count, and groggily stumbled after Reira.

By the time Kozue rolled out of the ring, Reira had some more time to recover, allowing her to grab the ninja's arm when she got of the ring and pull hard, trying to throw her with an irish whip towards the metal guardrail, to see her adoring fans firsthand!

It wasn’t actually much of a surprise that Reira attacked her the moment she stepped out of the ring - in fact, the only real surprise would’ve been if she didn’t do the most bitchy move possible in all instances.

Still a bitch move, though.

Kozue spun around as Reira sent her flying with the Irish Whip, launching her lithe, light body. Hitting with her back instead of her chest hurt marginaly less, plus it allowed her to see what the champion would be throwing at her next. Not that she was in a position to do much about it. At the moment, all she could do was lay against the barrier, leaning on it for support as the fans backed away.

"Not such a smart ass now, are you bitch!?"


Backing against the side of the ring again, Reira growled at her opponent and charged, jumping up and trying to smash Kozue against the metal guardrail with a Stinger Splash, trying to knock the entire guard rail over, squashing Kozue and front row fans alike!

”You look like a Japanese version of the Wendy’s chick.”

It wasn’t much of a comeback, but in Kozue’s defense, she didn’t have much time to really think up something snappy. The reason for that was because she had Reira coming towards her at an icnredible velocity, which only allowed her a scant second before…

The champion crashed against Kozue with ridiculous force, more than she would’ve thought a girl Reira’s size could produce. The barricade fell over and Kozue tumbled with it, creating a shower of popcorn and spilled soda. Several fans were taken out along with it, and in the middle of the mess was a groggy Kozue, flat on her back with her head staring at the ceiling.
