Alaina's jubilation and joy disappeared as Gwendolyn kicked out. She knew that was 3. Alaina knew she should be the entropy champion right at this moment with her hand raised high. Instead a slow count meant the match continued. There were no words to describe the frustration she felt as Gwendolyn kicked out late. Her heart sank, and her mind was fleeting.

As Gwendolyn flopped to the side Alaina got to her feet and stormed over to the referee having lost her grip on herself.... and her common sense. "What the FUCK is going on here?!" Alaina shouted as she loomed over the referee. She couldn't chokeslam the woman no matter how much she wanted to....if this little bitch would count slow for Gwendolyn she would surely disqualify Alaina for putting her hands on her. "You just robbed me and all those people out there you fucking sellout!" Alaina screamed in the referees face as she motioned with her arm to the fans all around the arena.

It was at that moment that her common sense over-rode her rage. She had her opponent badly hurt behind her. She had the upper hand. Keep focused. Keep up the pressure. Put such a hurting on Gwendolyn that she is pinned for a 10 count. Alaina turned around, looking to grab Gwendolyn up by the hair and focus all her rage into one beautiful, glorious, painful chokeslam!

"That was a two, Alaina!! One more outburst like this and I'm calling it!!" The cornered ref stood her ground against the Amazon, waving her index finger in her face and barking back over Alaina's own enraged complaints over how she was officiating the match. The stadium was in an uproar at this point once it was abundantly apparent that the fix was in, Gwendolyn's power and influence enabling her to sink to a new low this night!!

The muffled sounds of Alaina's frenzied altercation with the cornered ref along with the riotous audience stirred some sparse signs of life from the heiress, gradually pushing herself up off the mat and on her knees with one hand on the back of her neck to soothe away the throbbing pain still resonating from the suplex. The garbled argument came back into focus, as did her blurred vision, peering to her right to acknowledge where the heated exchange was taking place.

Her exorbitantly priced "insurance policy" had kicked in without fail. Alaina's match stipulation of barring anyone under her employ from ringside had compelled Gwendolyn to get deviously inventive to secure her win this time around. Despite her absolute exhaustion, the heiress recognized a window of opportunity when it presented itself, though it was shutting fast as time went on...

Gwendolyn gnashed her pearly whites to restrain the cries of anguish from her tortured spine and neck, feeding on the pure adrenaline pumping through her veins to numb the pain as she steadily arose. Her predatory glance was transfixed on Alaina's blind spot as she skulked onward with pure malicious intent written on her normally refined visage until she was situated right behind her. She was slightly hunched over to remain out of sight for those extra milliseconds even after Alaina turned around with her arms dangling below. The anticipation eating away at her patience as she bides her time for that one delectable moment to strike, finally presenting itself after what felt like eons of waiting as Alaina pivoted in place!!

However, Gwen recognized that Alaina may have scoped out her super kick finisher in advance. So the rather than risk another tide-turning blunder, the heiress concocted a more ingenious manner of flipping the script in terms of putting the Amazon away. Leaping in place to wrap her arm around Alaina's blood caked head in a three quarter facelock and the Amazons jaw situated tightly on her shoulder, Gwen would extend her body outward and fall to the canvas to deliver a devastating Ace Crusher!!

Alaina turned and felt an arm suddenly wrapped around her head. Even as the Ace Crusher hit, with Alaina feeling the painful impact and nearly blacking out she still didn't know precisely what happened. The surprise of the hard hitting move combined with the immense pain dazed Alaina. No, not dazed. It totally shut her down, stopping her in her tracks. The whole world had suddenly spun out of control.... just as this match did. Her vision was blurrier than before, her ears rung, her head and neck were throbbing with an intense pain that totally took her out of commission.

She may as well have been totally knocked out.

"Wha.....what...." Alaina mumbled as she lay motionless on the mat. Her head swaying slightly along with her barely audible mumbles were the only signs of life she exhibited as she laid there, powerless to do anything. The crowds booing at Gwendolyn didn't even register. Her feelings of anger weren't even enough for her to really be aware of anything around her.

Right now the only definite, tangible thing Alaina felt was pain and powerlessness as she was completely at the mercy of Gwendolyn.

Gwendolyn laid there sprawled out with her eyes shut from the intense glare of the house lights, panting heavily with an ear to ear grin after having successfully executed the "borrowed" finisher with flawless precision. The heiress knew firsthand how devastating that particular maneuver could be, having been a victim to it herself during her Avalanche match with Haley and now ironically the instrument of Alaina's impending defeat.

The heiress lethargically crept upward to a seated position, a sinister look in her eyes when she glanced to her right at the pitiable eyesore Alaina was reduced to. The jovial fan favorite now whimpering incoherent gibberish into the bloodstained mat, Gwendolyn had evidently made good on her promise to leave Alaina in the exact same miserable condition she had left Haley on that fateful evening.

With an exaggerated shove and a roll, Gwen rolled the lifeless Amazon over to her back before crawling over Alaina to seat her shapely rear on her opponent's plentiful chest in a schoolgirl pin. Straddling Alaina's chest with a flick of her curly locks, Gwen soaked in all the cascading boos and jeers while the ref performed her duties aboveboard in this instance with a much more evenly paced...

"1!"

"2!"

"3!"

“Your winner…and STILL!!!...AFW Entropy Champion…GWENDOLYN…DUPONT…BETTENCOURT!!!!!!”

Immediately after the announcer declared Gwen the victor with her bombastic theme blaring over the speakers, the questionable referee scurried towards the time keeper to retrieve the Entropy title belt and rushed back inside the ring to place the trophy in Gwen's hands and raise her arm up high. With that same ref assisting Gwendolyn back to her feet, the heiress stood tall over her opponents carcass and cradled her precious title belt close to her chest with a blissful expression as if it were the most cherished out of all of her numerous possessions~...

Alaina knew she was being pinned but couldn't stop it. She laid on the mat watching Gwendolyn raise the belt in victory. Alaina lost again. When it counted most Alaina lost..... even though she won. That realization made her feel so sick to her stomach that she overlooked the pain in her head. She was so disgusted with this loss and how she lost that she wanted to crawl into a hole. She just laid on the mat in the ring alone, having lost via theft a title she should have won. A title that she really did win. The way she lost some matches this might be the only shot at a title she would ever get. That little bit of doubt that crept into her thoughts only sickened her even more.

Alaina closed her eyes, she couldn't even bring herself to look up at the alleged champion and supposedly official referee. She covered her face with her hands, fully realizing how badly gashed open she was for the first time. Her face and head were covered in blood. Her hair was caked with it as well.

Alaina swore she would never allow herself to feel this robbed, humiliated and disgusted after a match again. She would bounce back from this somehow. However, right now she couldn't even muster the energy to get back to her feet. She moved her hands from her face looking up at Gwendolyn with sheer contempt.

Once Gwendolyn was done gloating Alaina would stir and get to her feet to the cheers of the crowd. This time no amount of cheering could pick her up as she would hobble to the back, head down and shoulders slumped in defeat.
