Kira Vs Carmen - Somewhat of a revenge match????

The old Kira would react to the fake out badly, however this time Kira was more resilient, less easy to fool. He would hold his ground and keep his guard tight, protecting all vital areas. He was ready, the threat of being knocked out a second time had forced him to actually box well. He was more than ready for it. When she was finished he would lash out himself, throwing a uppercut into her jaw, packing as much raw power into it as he could. He really wanted to hit, however with Carmens speed he had a feeling that she would see it coming and dodge it, or raise her guard up in time.

She didn't manage to block it, but just barely; the blow rocked her guard and knocked her back a few steps, nearly loosening her hair in the process - that was an A+ punch, no doubt, maybe the best one he'd thrown yet. More dangerous by the minute.

She dropped her guard on the right side, trying to bait him into throw a blow for her face - if that works, she'll duck under it and nail him with a one-two in the gut, hopefully lay some groundwork for a second KO.

Kira gave a yell of success when he saw the punch smash into her. The punch was good and powerful, showing Carmen he was a contender for the fight. At first he was going to throw a punch back at her face. Instead he decided to fool her by throwing his right fist towards her face as if he was going to go for it, at last minute he would throw his left fist at her ribs, which would of been great, however if Carmen had ducked down it would get better as the punch would go for her face.

Kid was getting cocky, being his own cheerleader - let him.

He threw a right, or seemed to at the start; instead, he took a page from her book and did a fake. She had her arm up to block, so the blow wasn't as bad as it would have been had she moved - but it still struck pay dirt in her stomach, making her grunt with the most noise she'd made all match.

Kira had to admit ge was impressed. He hand managed to score his first major hit on Carmen. Sure it had arrived on the latter part of the third round but still it was better than not hitting her at all. Kira knew the importance of keeping the pressure on her. If she was allowed even the smallest amount of time to recover it could take a long time to get back into the same position again.

He would try and throw a left and a right jab directly at her face, hoping her guard couldn't be raised in time after the last hit. He was going to go for a third strike but would be stopped as the bell rang and Kira had to shuffle back over into his corner.

The left whiffed off her guard, but the right found a new home along the side of her face, knocking her back a step, and...then the bell rang, cutting Carmen off before she had a chance to retaliate.

Army was already up as she moved back. "Come on, what the fuck was that?"

She shook her head and took a seat. "I know, I know. Fucking water, man."

Carmen gulped on a water bottle as she contemplated - kid was getting daring. Smart. She didn't imagine she'd have to, but it was time to start reaching into her bag of tricks - experience was on her side, she needed to use it.

When the next round start, she got up and moved back to the center, raising her gloves and lowering her stance, arms up, nice and tight.

Kira was grateful for the break he had got. He needed time to recover, however it also gave Carmen more than enough time to put the last part of the round behind her. After making sure he took large gulps of water to try to stay on his physical peak.

The fact that Carmen had adopted the stance she had suggested that it was possible she was playing heavily defensively. He too would adopt a similar southpaw version of her stance, taunting her to try and fight him again. The last round had given him alot of confidence, he had strength on his side, he just had to make sure that Carmens face took as much abuse as it could.

Carmen moved towards him, but not in a straight line - she came at him with a dempsy roll. Left to right, left to right, left to right, ducking down, coming up, ducking down, coming up. Working a smooth steady rotation as her body moved, weaving in a figure eight pattern.

She moved to the left and struck with her right, then moved to her right and struck with her left, each blow coming off seamlessly from the pattern, aimed at the side of his face.

Kira was getting better but nothing could prepare him for what was going to happen now. Carmen had managed to confuse Kira, the weaving and the bobbing was hard for Kira to track and the painful process began. It started with a right punch to the face, sending his head to the side, it then was a punch from the left, sending his head the other way.

The painful process carried on, grunts coming out of his more mashed up face with each hit, spittle, sweat and water escaping from his mouth and skin with each hit. After around possibly the 6th punch small speckles of blood escaped from his mouth, as the punches continued the speckles turned into drops which turned into strands. After godknows how much punishment Kira was grounded, his mouth now completely red on the inside, his teeth unrecognisable. He hadn't been knocked out but he wished he had at this point.

She'd expected it to work, but she didn't expect it to work quite that well - Kira took the punches like a sandbag, the roll throwing him for a loop. It was a rare technique for her to use - most of her opponents were familiar with the movements, and could catch on if she abused it. But most of her opponents had been boxing for as long as she had, if not longer. Not Kira.

Carmen stood over him, waiting for him to get back up...if he could. "You're not bad, kid." She spoke for the first time in the whole match. "But this isn't your day. Stay down."
