that thud was probably the most satisfying thing in the world right now for Adrian, stepping back off the ropes to let the Latina slump down in the corner and taunt the crowd. "YEAAAAH! Who's kicking who's ass now?" She asked the crowd to a chorus of boos. "Be in denial all you like, looks like this little lady's showing why she's always been a bridesmaid and never a bride, ahahahaha!" she cackled before moving back in on Angel.

Slotting her boot under Angel's jaw, the cosplayer tried to press down, trapping the platinum haired woman's neck between the turnbuckle at the back and her boot at the front, choking her for as long as she could get away with.

Angel stirred a bit in the corner, rolling her head to look up towards Adrian. Her words would have stung, but she knew that Adrian herself had 'always been a bridesmaid' as well. Still though, she planned on paying the cosplayer back for that insult.

Payback that would have to wait, because before Angel could do much against her, Adrian's boot came sliding up, pressing hard on the Latina's neck. She started to squirm and writhe under the cheap attack, gagging and gasping for air, for breath. Her hands came up, grasping at Adrian's leg, trying to leg a hold on it to pull or push it away before she lost too much of her precious air, got too weak from the dangerous choke.

Adrian tried her best to push back, grabbing the ropes for leverage while pushing down into her choke against Angel forcing her back before the ref got to 4. Forcing the aggressive cosplayer to back out of the corner or get a straight disqualification. It did however give Adrian a chance to survey her handywork, get a feel for how awesome her chances looked right now.

When Adrian finally broke the choke on Angel and backed away, the Latina remained sitting there in the corner. She was panting, breathing deeply for oxygen as the cosplayer backed away. Her head rolled to the side, Angel gasping loudly, one hand reaching up to rub gently at her neck.

"Hnn...guess I'll have to get serious..." She muttered to no one in particular, leaning against the corner tiredly.

"Heh..." Adrian chuckled to herself as she saw Angel stay down after her blatant choke, perfect. Feeling the adrenaline rush of imminent victory the cosplayer shot off to the opposite corner, and charged straight back, trying to drive her knee once again into the Latina's skull. She smelt blood in the water, and Angel couldn't be that hard-headed.

Could she?

Adrian wouldn't get the chance to find out. By the time she hit the furthest corner and made her way back, Angel had snapped out of her daze. When she realised that Adrian was charging in at her, she would throw her body to the side, trying to scramble out of the way of the wild knee strike.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Adrian screamed as she charged in, committing to the attack way too early as Angel odged out of the way, leaving the cosplayer's knee to ram painfully into the corner, along with the rest of her. "Oww...." she groaned, staggering back away from the ropes.

Knowing she had to work fast after Adrian slammed her knee against the corner, Angel scrambled up, trying to get back to her feet. She didn't stay on them for long though. The Latina rushed forward, ducking low, trying to tackle Adrian's legs to send her crashing to the mat.

Adrian hadn't really grasped where Angel had gotten to when she had the more pressing concern of her knee hurting like hell. hopping around, trying to shake the feeling off near the centre of the ring was just where the Latina wanted the cosplayer and made it extremely simple for her to tackle Adrian to the ground "Wahhhh!"

Angel smiled in satisfaction as Adrian thudded to the mat. She panted slightly, still worn down from Adrian's recent attacks, but she knew she had to press on while she had this small advantage.

Angel rose up again as Adrian went down, leaning down to take hold of Adrian's hurt leg. Flashing the cosplayer a playful wink, the Latina jerked her leg to the side, trying to flip Adrian onto her stomach, trying to put her facedown on the canvas. From there, she would step over Adrian's body, still holding her leg, and start to bend it backwards, leaning back to put her fellow rankings member into a simple, single-legged boston crab.
