The Alpha and the Beta

Lucy would smile a bit when she heard Zhu decided on what flavor she wanted, she nodded to the girl and then would turn around to the shopkeeper and than say to her. " I want the usual for me, and for her. Can I get a big bowl of mango flavored Ice cream ?" the girl nodded and told Lucy the price, something that she quickly payed and then waited, " Seems like they did." Lucy said as she would wait for the Ice cream bowls and when they got them she would lead Zhu over towards a table and sit down.

" You sure it's not too much? " Zhu Rong asked when the price was mentioned, feeling a bit guilty that Lucy was paying for them. She grabbed the bowl and took it to the table that Lucy led her towards, taking a seat besides her and placed the bowl on the table, looking at what was inside and leant in close to sniff as it, wanting to know what it smelled like. She knew she could trust Lucy but this was her first time she was going to eat Ice cream, leaning down lower to let her tongue drag over it, tasting the flavor with her tongue and swallow it. Satisfied with the taste, she would grab the spoon to take a large scoop of her ice cream and took it in her mouth, swallowing it with one go. BAD IDEA. She quickly shivered and held her head with both hands. " Aahhh, Coldddd! " She whined out.

Lucy would nod her head as she lead her Beta over towards the table and took her time with seating herself down and looking on at Zhu. " It's alright, It's my treat, I did beat you up quite a bit after all." Lucy said as she would look over at ZHu, watching the girl as she sniffed and licked the Ice cream, and she couldn't help but let out a little laugh as she watched the girl do this. " Carefu..never mind.." Lucy let out as she would start laughing a bit all before she would look on a while at ZHu.

" Take your time with it. You don't have to hurry, small bites at a time." Lucy said as she would take a small scoop of her strawberry Ice cream and eat it, blushing a bit as she tasted the great taste of the sweetest and bestest Ice cream in the world.

It took Zhu Rong a while to get that hot temperature back in her head, letting it go and holding the spoon again, carefully scooping out a very small amount of her ice cream and brought it closer her lips, then pushing it into her mouth and letting her tongue warm up the ice cream and make it melt, feeling the flavor all of it and once it wasn't that cold anymore, swallowing it. " Mmm... " She would let out this time rather then freezing, it was quite delicious after all, closing her eyes and just savoring the taste.

" It's good right ? " Lucy asked as she looked on at Zhu and watched the girl a bit, she couldn't help but let out a soft little giggle as she would smile at the girl and move her hand up to her head and pat it. she couldn't help but then go back to her ice cream and keep eating it and doing so quite quickly as she would then look at Zhu for a second. " I know you can handle yourself and do more than that as well. So the girl I'm gonna introduce you too will show you how to do that even better. "

Zhu Rong seemed definitely content right now with being patted while she ate this heavenly food, sure it was cold but her body had quickly gotten use to it, melting it within her mouth before swallowing, Zhu Rong really enjoyed it. Her head tilted to the side so she could stare at Lucy, listening to her and soon gave her a nod. " Sure thing. " She would say before going back to devouring the ice cream.

Lucy smiled a bit as she would go back to the ice cream and then let out a light giggle as she looked on at Zhu, " You are pretty interesting Zhu, I think It might be best if you stay close though. There are some seriously crazy people here in AFW." Lucy said as she would look on at Zhu for a little while, " Stay close to the pack and you will be safe and good."

Though she wasn't sure what Lucy meant, her last words were more of Zhu Rong's understanding. " Ah.. I came here knowing how to fend for myself, I can dish out alot but I can also take alot. But.. I'll be sure to stay close to you, Lucy. " She would give the girl a kind smile as she soon finished her ice cream, pushed the bowl to the center of the table. " I will do my best to protect us both! "

Lucy would look on at bit at Zhu as she didn't seem to understand just what she meant by what she said to the girl. She would simply shake her head a bit and then eat more of her ice cream waiting a bit as she would look on at Zhu a bit longer. " Thanks Beta. You are doing quite well as a Beta though. " Lucy said as she would offer Zhu a taste of her Ice cream now to see if the girl would like that. " And I'll protect you as well little one."

Zu Rong looked down at the ice cream Lucy offered, leaning in close to sniff at it since it wasn't her own and it had a different color. It smelled like strawberry with the same cold exterior her own ice cream had and grabbed the spoon from her own bowl to take a small scoop from Lucy's bowl and gently take it within her mouth, tasting it and immidiatly showing a sign of affection towards both the tasty and Lucy. " Mmmm! "
