Punk Country

Clyde could only sigh apathetically in response to Taylor's words. This woman had an uncanny ability to produce headaches from sheer frustation just as bad as Conway, and that was saying something. Conway... That was another person he probably wouldn't have to deal with ever again. It felt odd he was actually going to miss fighting The Family Nemesis.

"You're a confusin' piece of work, lady..." Clyde would mumble on the ground before he saw Taylor step up to loom over him, making his eyes widen a bit before they traveled up to see what she wanted, which he found out rather quickly to be a sudden slap right across the face that turned his head a bit. It didn't hurt that bad or sting much, he didn't feel it until about a second or two after. Still, her words cut like a knife, but at the same time, he felt she just didn't understand and would watch her turn away with a clear frown, especially with the way she kept talking to him.

"Lady..." He'd say before he sat up on the grass and lurched up to his feet with a stagger before he drunkenly pointed at Taylor with a look of determination "...If there is one name you outta stop callin' Clyde T. Gastin, it's 'Pussy'. Know why!? Cuz I'm the meanest, toughest and damn near unkilliable sumbitch in my goddamn league 'cause I done been Beat Up, cut up, kicked in the balls, jumped by the Gatt Attack, Shot twice! Fallen off twenty foot ladders, had my heart stomped and I even came back to life once! So if there is one thing you outta know 'bout Clyde T. Gastin of Liberty, Texas... It's that I shoulda' done died years ago, but here I walk, goddammit!"

"...So! If I wanna quit... I damn near should be able to quit, alright!? I may have lost My Reason To Fight, BUT! Clyde T. Gastin is still tough as nails and he ain't no muthafuckin' pussy! He King of Tension, baby! And there ain't a damn thing you or your boy Johnny can 'bout that!" He'd say with a triumphant nod and proud, shit faced grin before he heard what sounded like thunder in the distance, causing him to look back and see some clouds in the distance, most likely reaching the park after awhile. It would suck to get rained on while he was alseep, he didn't even have any money for a hotel after spending all his cash on Mercy and Booze.

So Clyde turned to Taylor with a very nervous and humble look in his eye, almost apologetic, this was gonna suck. "...Uhh... Hey... I know you don't really like me and You don't know me but... You gotta....sofa... To borrow.... Or a floor... Maybe a shower too? I ain't got any money on me for a hotel and I doubt I'm gon make it home the way I am, heh.... So would you mind lendin' a washed up Texan a roof?" He'd ask before scraching the back of his head nervously. Expecting to be turned down, he he'd have to look for shelter elsewhere in the city.

Taylor listened to Clyde's speech with an inscrutable little smile, half amused, and when he finished she looked away for a moment.

"Hell yeah. I wanna meet that guy sometime. See ya." She said, and kept walking, but slowed to a stop again and groaned.

"Shit, man..." She said. She wanted to just tell him no and be done with him, but he was just too pathetic to leave there. She tried to think of an excuse. "Um... Lemme ask my roommate." She pulled out her phone and called Cassie, who quickly answered.

"Hi!"
"Hey, quick question, I found a drunk, weepy Tension wrestler-cowboy who wants a place to crash, and he wants to know if he can stay at our place for a-"
"Oh! Awesome! What's his name? We're making chicken and... I don't know what else, but, well, we can do something else too, ya know, for you, and, what does he like to eat? Ask him what he-"

Taylor hung up. She grumbled, and squirmed uncomfortably as the unavoidable realization of her answer tortured her.

"Yeah, you can stay. Only tonight. On the couch. If you puke in my apartment, I will end you. And you have to shower before you touch anything. And... don't... just leave Cassie alone, okay?" She said with a scowl. "If you're coming, come on, I'm not waiting up." She began the walk home at a brisk pace.

"You will! One of these days... I guess..." He'd say, trying to assure himself and Taylor, but was honestly unsure if he'd ever be back to his old self again. Only time would tell at this point.

"Fine." He'd say in compliance to Taylor asking her roommate while he scratched his head. Starting to feel a bit uneasy with the way Taylor got when he asked. It wasn't fun to be anywhere you weren't wanted. Then came the usual type of description from Taylor in front of this roommate over the phone.

"I ain't weepy!" He'd protest instantly, trying to be loud enough so this person heard him.

Relief came though when Taylor said he could stay. "Sweet." He'd respond before he heard Taylor's ins ructions that followed and made him roll his eyes, as if he'd ever do any of those things.

"Your roommate? I wouldn't worry... And I'll be gone before noon!" He'd declare, though that was unlikely. Clyde was no fool when it came to living with two females. Having lived with his mother and sister for so long, then Heather and Alessa for a while, he didn't think Taylor and this Cassie person would be too different.

"Heh. Right." Clyde let out towards Taylor's last words, he'd follow closely behind her with a slight stagger before he adjusted. "Thanks for doin' this by the way... Really." Muttered Clyde in a humble manner before he would shut up and begin to lament over the current situation. He never thought things would be like this? Granted, he never thought he would of done alot of things here. Japan was weird.

A mere couple seconds later though, Clyde realized he had left his trenchcoat behind. "Wait a minute..." He'd say before turning around to quickly head over towards the bench to retrieve his coat, which he would fumble with for a moment as he tried to get it on.
