The Spectre vs. Deathbird

Deathbird would immediately release Spectre's hair in boredom of holding it too long. But it would soon bite her back when Spectre suddenly grabbed her leg and took her down. "GAH!" she cried out as she hit the mat, but then she saw the albino go on top of her. From there, she began to rain punches down on Deathbird. Through her pain, Deathbird would exclaim, "AUGH! Get off of me, you filthy vermin! OGH!"

Her opponent's words only encouraged Spectre to go harder with the punches. She hate people who called her names like that. It reminded her of her unpleasant past, memories that she wished she could just forget already. The albino continued to punch Deadbird before she'd eventually stop and stare at her opponent.

"Who... you called...vermin...?" she'd say in her whispering voices.

Her expression was a mixture of hatred and sadness at the same time. The Albino's long white hair fell down as she looked down. Spectre would then try to reach for Deathbird's neck with both hands, choking her opponent once again.

Deathbird would try to block as many punches coming at her as she could before Spectre stopped and stared at her. Sweat was already coming down her forehead and she was breathing a bit heavily as she heard the albino whisper in hatred and sadness. As soon as Spectre started to raise her arms to grab the neck, Deathbird would try to grab those arms and hold them still as she said, "OK, vermin doesn't really define you anyway. How about if I call you Deidre?"

The moment Deathbird called her name, Spectre frozed for a second. Then her fierce expression would suddenly gone. The albino looked shocked for a second, then she'd try to pull her hand away with a rather terrified look on her face.

"Don't..." she'd say, still in her whispering voice. "Don't wake her up..."

She knew that if Deathbird keep going on calling her what she just did, something bad would happened. She tried to avoid it from happening, although her reaction might look like it's some sort of weakness to her opponent.

Deathbird knew that Spectre would be shocked to hear her real name be said. She spoke in a low whisper, "Hm, you seem to remember don't you? How do I know your name you ask? Well, you weren't the only one who took a little trip to that pathetic orphanage." She released the albino's arms and slowly tried to get back up. If she managed to, she would stand and get back in her fighting stance.

The mention of the orphanage made Spectre even more shocked. She began to felt something building inside her as the memories of her past flashed back in an instant. As Deathbird released her arms and got up, Spectre would roll back before getting up on her feet as well. The albino would stare at her opponent with mixed emotions for a while. She would hold her head with one hand and her face showed a little grimace.

"S-shut up..." she'd say with a raspy voice.

Gritting her teeth, Spectre would immediately dash toward Deathbird once again with her right arm open, trying to bring her opponent down with a clothesline. Her fierce look returned to her face as she launched her attack.

As Deathbird got in her fighting stance, she watched Spectre get up and seem to have mixed feelings over the subject of the orphanage. "I've been there, Deidre and I believe that no soul should have a life of torment from others. That was why I broke free before I lived one night and returned to living in the streets." As she said this, Spectre charged for the clothesline. Deathbird put her arms up to try and block it, but the charge and impact made her stumble backwards.

Spectre went in for a clothesline to her opponent, but once again Deathbird's words managed to distract her. Her opponent managed to block the albino's attack with her arm, although Deathbird stumbled backwards from the impact. Spectre furiously tried to attack her opponent again, swinging her arm for a punch, followed by another one with her hurt arm. The later move might not be the wisest option due to her arm condition.

"Don't call me that!" the albino wailed in her raspy voice like an angry ghost as swung her arms. Her expression showed that she's upset at being called with her own name.

As Deathbird tried to keep her balance, Spectre was already on the move to attack again. The albino started to swing her arms left and right to punch her at different places. Deathbird would try to dodge every hit aiming her way though she got a few hits to her body, grunting in pain. She would then try to grab one of the swinging arms as she asked, "Why not? Why is it hard for you to accept who you were before that made you into who you are now? I can."

Spectre let out a quiet grunt as her hurt arm was grabbed by Deathbird. She tried to pull it away only to make it even more painful, causing her to grimace. Still unable to break free from her opponent's grip, the albino stared at Deathbird with a rather terrified look on her face.

"No!" she'd say at her opponent fiercely with her rasp voice. "You can't wake her up!"

Spectre felt that she need to get out of this situation before Deathbird could take advantage of her hurt arm. However, her mind was quite in a mess since her opponent keep calling her with something she didn't want to. It wasn't to deny herself. It was to prevent her "other side" to be awakened, but Deathbird might not know that yet.
